Esther was born in Netherlands and was a home taught witch, her parents did not believe in sending her to any school, they believed that what they did not know was not worth knowing. As a result she became a strong willed and powerful witch although she lacked certain social qualities. She had no siblings and no friends and so she became a social outcast.
After leaving her home at the age of 17 Esther went on a tour of Europe and ever bit of it disappointed her. It was not a splendid as she had heard it to be, the people where weak and lacked power, they where not like her enough and that displeased her. So returning home she stayed in the Netherlands for many more years leading a relatively boring life…that was until she heard about what was happening in Britain.
Esther joined up to the Ministry and immediately made and impression and worked her way up the ranks. Her cold and hard working attitude caused her to catch the eye of one of the Ministry’s higher powers Illyana Deitrich. Even before the tragic death of the Minister of Magic Esther would do all of the jobs that Illyana did not want to do (Such as the silencing of trouble makers) But then at the terrible news of the Ministers death caused Illyana to gain a bit more power, and as a result power came Esther’s way too and it was one thing that she liked, a lot!
So now she has been sent to Hogwarts to keep a closer eye on what has been happening. Illyana needed to be else where and the falling standards in teaching and the deaths that has been occurring in at the castle grounds meant that someone more experienced needed to be there to replay information straight to the head herself.
But there is one problem that Esther does not like children, she has never been in a school, she never smiles and. demands respect from everyone she meets.
