Azrael's personality has never been set in stone. It can change at the drop of a pin, due to the changing nature of the tasks put before her and the neccesary anonymity of her title as a ministry worker. Who would want their enemy to know them by name, and know who they are associated with? She goes by many names and identities, all unknown to the people who believes she is someone else. To Amelia and Erys, she is Melinda Grace, member of the Grace Clan, true Slytherins in every sense of the word, a sister and an aunt. To fellow ministry workers she is Azrael, and nothing else. But the rest of the world lies under the belief that she is:

• Matilda Bugsprout: a stylish, popular clothing designer who's works have often appeared for sale in Gladrags Wizardwear. (Purpose of this identity: Cash. The beguiling and afterward extermination of Azkaban escapee Charles Redfoot.)
  
• Henrietta Snogburn: loving temporary nurse at St. Mungo's. (Purpose of this identity: The removal and extermination of Jeremiah Snipwit, former Unspeakable who leaked a dangerous experiment to the Daily Prophet and nearly caused mass chaos in the wizarding world. He had suffered an "accident" and took up temporary residence at the hospital before he "died in his sleep".)
  
• Brutilda Troutnose: Sodden old witch, regular consumer in Knockturn Alley. (Purpose of this identity: The search and destroy of former Gringotts employee who stole tens of thousands of galleons from the vault 871. Money was successfully returned.)
  
• Tatianna Ilychovich: Mother of Katya Ilychovich. (Purpose of this identity: The true Tatianna was under various charges against the wizarding public and the ministry, and to be certain she would not continue in these wrongdoings Azrael was the one who caused her daughter's accident that made her a mute, to scare her into ceasing.)
  
• More identities soon to come, with more exterminations.

Often the only communication between Melinda and her living family is letters written in code. If anyone saw her out and about with Amelia or Erys, that would put them at risk. So she doesn't do it. At the few personal meetings, always in private, her personality towards them is kindly and protective. She openly speaks about her work and when Erys was a child she would entertain her with stories of experiments when she was an Unspeakable. She was an extraordinary inventor and scientist of the magics that occurred in the Department of Mysteries, but realised her talents laid more in deception and murdering rather than the exploration of newer magics. In Ministry offices when she runs into Amelia, they speak as if simple coworkers, and her sister addresses her as 'Azrael', nothing more.

To fellow Ministry workers Azrael is a cunning, sly, calculative woman. She is on good terms with most everyone, but keeps her true identity and history a secret. She is lovely and humorous, prone to having a cup of coffee with a coworker. Overall though, like the entire of the Grace Clan, Azrael is a Slytherin at heart, and despite her generally calm demeanor, most maintain a level of wariness while about her. It isn't wise to give her a reason to distrust you.

Appearance[/size][/I]
Tall and lovely like her fraternal twin sister, Azrael is a slim and extremely captivating woman. Her movements alone are graceful and catlike, and her grey-green eyes possess a hypnotic quality about them. She has long nails, full lips, and wavy chestnut brown hair that falls past her shoulders. Her age has not caught up with her yet, and Azrael is often mistaken for an age younger than she truly is.

History[/size][/I]
On the eve of October 31, Amelia and Melinda were born fraternal twins to the nurturing and powerful Grace Clan. Their parents were Evelyn and Narcissus Grace, in the closet Death Eaters and prominent members of wizarding society. Their father was the Minister of Magic for a seasoned sixteen terms before retiring at the age of seventy two after the fall of Voldemort, and their mother Evelyn--never really caught during her affair with the Dark Lord--was the proprietor of a popular clothing store in Knockturn Alley, and a Hit Witch. The two girls grew and prospered under the careful eye of their calculative parents, destined for great things. Attending Hogwarts at the same time, Amelia and Melinda were both the reigning Slytherin queens, and took their title so seriously that they were nearly the cause of a mudblood Hufflepuff's demise. But that was never proven, they were never caught, and they survived the school with a spotless record.

Setting their sights on the Ministry as their parents did seasons ago, Amelia found the Animagus division to her liking, as she herself had trained mercilessly to aquire the talent as a teenager. Melinda herself had no desire to transform into an animal, when she could merely change herself to look like, say, someone else. Her interests were conflicted however between the Department of Mysteries and the occupation of Hit Wizards and Witches. The dark call of new and exciting spells finally won the battle, and for a fair few years she was the Unspeakable Azrael, exploring the hidden mysteries of spells and the universal meanings of magic, and love, under guise and protected. Eventually as time progressed she decided Hit Witch was a much more fulfilling job, where her Metamorphmagus talent could be put to good use. Now one of the top reigning Hit Witches, Azrael never fails to please the higher ups with her effortless exterminations with each task. The mess was minimal, the perpetrator silenced, with a job well done. And with every requirement Azrael changes herself to a completely different person, to further protect her true identity and more easily destroy her target.
