Addison is a natual light blonde, but constantly dies her hair a deep red shade. Her daughters, Ali and Brooke inherited their blonde hair and looks from their mother, whereas her son Bryn, got her eyes and his fathers looks. Addison is arguably a good looking woman, though in her late forties, Addy can still walk down the street and turn a few heads. Addy leaves her hair to fall in neat waves around her shoulders, she does not like having it tied back, it makes her feel constricted. Her eyes, a light piercing blue have been known to be unerving. She prefers dressy clothes to the casual street look and you can guarentee she will either be in a pair of sylish robes or dresses.

Personality:
Addison can be a very protective woman especially when it comes to her children. She looks after them and when they are home, she has them under curfew. Brooke especially, since she knows Brooke has a "wild" streak in her. Addison is a hard worker and strives to get what she wants and give her kids the life she never had. She has been known to be too serious sometimes but she cant help it. She suspects Bryn gets his protectivness from herself and Brooke gets her "wildness" from her father, but it doesnt really matter. Addison can be a very loyal person and hates anyone hurting her family since they are the most important people in Addys life. Addison is very closed up, she doesnt let her emotions interfere with what she has to do, she's a forceful leader and a force to be reckoned with, she is not afraid to put her foot down.

Job Description:
Being the Head of this Department is not always easy. Despite what many people think there is a lot of Paperwork involved, especially for Addison. She often goes gallavanting all around the world to talk to the other Ministries in other countries. Her job is to maintain peace in the world, between the English Ministry and every other Ministry around the world. She is also responsible for keeping the peace between Magical and Non-Magical nations which alone can be a challenge in itself. Another aspect of her work includes encouraging all magical nations to work together and that is not always easy.
Wizengamot
The Wizengamot is wizarding Britain's high court of law and parliament. It is possibly a continuation of the old Wizard's Council. Its administrative headquarters is located in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic. At least some of its trials take place in the dungeons of the lower levels. The Wizengamot appears to act as a form of parliament: the various Educational Decrees introduced by Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge over 100 years ago were passed and sanctioned by the Wizengamot. Similarly, Muggle laws in Britain must be agreed to by Parliament. It is unstated how much control the Wizengamot has over passing these decrees, and how much control the Minister exercises in such circumstances. Basically, its a court of law and every member must help with everything involved in the Wizengamot.[/ul]

History:
Addy was born Addison Ellis Stevens to Marianne and Gregory Stevens in October. When she was born, she had one single tuft of hair on the front of her head, white blonde. She was the second youngest of the Stevens children, having an older brother Aaron and two elder sisters Briony and Alicia. The family was quite large, for a wizarding family anyway, to any Muggle Family it was about a decent size. As Addison got older, she watched her elder sister Alicia get sicker and sicker. When Alicia was Seven, she was diagnosed with a bone marrow disease, she was able to get by, but her bones soon became brittle and weak and soon she found it difficult to do anything. Addison was closer to her sister Alicia and she hated seeing her sick, often trying to help Alicia whenever she could. When Alicia was sixteen, she went for another checkup at the Hospital, but due to tests the Doctors found she also had cervical cancer which had spread to her stomach and her bladder. There was too much for the doctors to treat and in addition to Alicia's bone marrow disease, they didnt think Alicia's body would be capable of handling surgery. Alicia was told she had three months to live.
This of course devastated Addison, but she watched her sister battle the cancer as hard as she could and Alicia made it to her seventeenth birthday, the family was beginning to think Alicia could fight the deseases she had, but on the night of Alicia's birthday, she took a turn and was admitted to hospital. The Doctors knew they couldnt do anything as Alicia slipped into a coma like state, supported only by a life support machine. A couple of days passed and the family realised Alicia was not going to wake up and chose to switch off the machine and let their family member rest. It was a troubling time for the family, especially the father who did not handle it well at all. He took to drinking and locking himself away after the death of his daughter.
Years passed and the tradgegy which struck the Stevens' was beginning to ease, their father was still drinking heavily every other night but apart from that the family was back on its feet. Though, when Addison was thirteen, her father had a heart attack which he didnt recover from and also died. Two deaths in the space of four years, it seemed the family was in a run for bad luck.
When Addison was sixteen, she met Vincent Kennedy who was at the time twenty two, working in St Mungoes in the Psychiatric Ward. The two began talking in Hogsmeade and Addison told Vincent everything that had happened in her life. Surprisingly, Vincent was able to help, and when Addison was eighteen she married Vincent, just fresh out of Hogwarts and into her job at the Ministry.
Soon after came her children, first came Anne, then three years later along came Jack. After Jack, Addison said she wanted no more children, but alas, she fell pregnant with Shawn. After that she vowed no more kids, but it seemed Addison was more fertile than she thought and soon found herself pregnant with twins. Addison couldnt believe how much grief the twins gave her during her pregnancy, though the girl was always more boisterous than the boy who seemed to want to keep the girl still. Addison knew that the boy would always be protective, and found herself naming them Bryn and Brooke, her two little fighting angels. Once Bryn and Brooke were born, Addison found herself laughing because Brooke had the exact same little tuft of hair on the front of her head as Addy did. Though Brooke had her fathers eyes, she was pleased to see Bryn had Addisons eyes.
Once Brooke and Bryn were born, Addison didnt want anymore kids and planned to have a hysterectomy. However, when she went into the hospital to have one, the doctors refused saying she was pregnant once again and too far along to abort. Not like Addison would have, in fact she found the situation amusing and once more fell into the life of Pregnancy with the young baby.
When Alicia was born, Addison cried and couldnt hold her. Alicia looked so much like her deceased sister it pained her. Her husband, Vincent understood and decided to call Alicia, Alicia, in memory of Addison's late sister. None of Addison's children know about their deceased Aunt, as Addison finds it very difficult to talk about. Alicia often enquired where Addison got her name from, but their father always told them not to ask so eventually they stopped.
Once again, a few years down the line, Addy tried again for a hysterectomy but once again, she couldnt have one due to pregnancy. Highly stressed, Addison was going to abort but Vincent talked her out of it, after a long discussion with the doctors, Addison was to have a c-section and then she was to have her ovaries tied in the same surgery.
Now, all her children have grown up, Addison can finally concentrate on her career in the Ministry, not having to worry about falling pregnant. Again.
