The Character
Name: Agnija Marie Valore
Nicknames: (If any) Nija.
Age: 15
Year: 5th
Blood: Half-blood.
Wand: 10 inch, mermaid scales, mahogany.
Pets: A fat cat named Milli (Vanilli).
Patronus: Doe
Boggart: Cockroaches
Personality:
Appearance: Agnija is a typically blue eyed, blonde haired German girl. The truth is that she absolutely despises her blue eyes. In fact, she charms them to brown quite frequently. Her dirty blonde tresses reach mid-chest, even with their natural curl. She stands at approximately five feet, three inches and has a slender body, not weighing more than 108lbs. Don't be fooled by her tiny frame, though, there's definitely some muscle there.
Fashionable muggle clothing adorns her thin, model-esque body. She can be found wearing things such as high-waisted skirts, flowing cardigans and random accessories. Vintage hats are her signature accessory, though. Although many call her lovely, Agnija cannot help but disagree. She is very uncomfortable with her appearance, most of the time. However, she seldom wears make-up with the exception of mascara.
History: This story begins in a little inconsiquental town in Liverpool, UK called Crosby. Amelia Reynolds was twenty years old, and had just finished studying art, design, and fashion at Liverpool University. She was trying to start up a fair fashion business, with only a little bit of success; Anton Valore was twenty-two year old and was working in the ministry, hoping to one day become the Minister of Magic. The day their two worlds collided was the day, was the day Anton would never forget. It was love at first sight.
Within two years, they had a daughter, Greta. With Anton being busy working, and Meredith working from home whilst looking after a young child, marriage wasn't on their list of priorities. After a year, things had slowed down, and their income had increased. They were able to do more things together and were getting back to being a happy couple. Things were finally getting back to normal, and then Agnija was born.
It was early on in Nija's life when Anton realized she was like him, magical. But, he had kept everything about the Wizarding World a secret from Amelia, and he tried to keep his secret. It was when Agnija's Hogwarts letter came, that Anton should have been most proud. Instead, he was deeply saddened. Amelia had scoffed at the idea of some "freak school" and when Anton revealed the truth, she packed up and left. Leaving him to raise two children, a squib and a witch, all by himself.
RP Sample:
Agnija couldn't believe that the summer was over, or that she'd finally be returning to Hogwarts for her fifth year. Her trunks were packed, and soon they'd be leaving for the train station in Muggle London. She slipped into a form-fitting, striped t-shirt, and tucked it into her high-waisted, jean skirt. After slipping on a pair of red flats, Agnija reached for her wand and sent the trunks zooming out of her room and down the stair case. A slight smile spread across her face and she picked up Milli, her delightfully fat cat, and carried him downstairs with her.
Dropping Milli in the living room, he headed for the kitchen, washing her hands after walking inside. Agnija looked at her older sister, moping at the kitchen table whilst eating a slice of toast. Sometimes, Agnija wished she didn't have magic. Then, she wouldn't have to leave her sister behind, and causing her to have depressed moods such as the one she was currently displaying with every bite. On top of that, her mum would still be around and her dad would actually be cheerful again. But, Agnija loved magic. She wouldn't be able to stand living with anyone who didn't. After all, magic was a beautiful thing. She poured herself a glass of orange juice and sipped it. "Dad," she called. "We're going to be late!" Then again, late for her was what others would consider early. She rinsed the cup out and put it in the dishwasher, walking over the elder sister and sliding a hand up onto her shoulder. "I love you, Greta."
