Name: Rinoa Zenobia Blacke.
Nicknames: Rin, or Noa.
Age: Fifteen.
Year: 5th.
House: Slytherin.
Blood: Halfblood.
Wand: 7 1/2 inches, Black Walnut, Doxy Wing Core.
Black walnut – a beautiful dark wood, this wand is more decorative than Dark, and is actually a strong Light wood- black walnuts produce a chemical that kills poisonous plants of the Nightshade family.
Doxy wings - like the creatures they come from, can be unmanageable and mean-spirited. They are second only to basilisk wands in their abilities with the Dark Arts, and as such these rare wands are most often found in the hands of stubborn Slytherins without the familial connection to obtain a basilisk core.
Pets: Rinoa is not one to care for an animal. She has a cat at home but it is more of an accessory to her than a living thing.
Patronus: Dingo
Dingo's are beautiful wild dogs, usually found around Australia and the outback. However, they may look cute and exactly like normal, house trained dogs, but they are feral and can be very vicious when needs be. The Dingo is a breed that has never been fully domesticated. It is almost never kept as a companion. This is partly due to its remote isolation, but also through lack of human intervention. Untrained Dingos are unsuitable child companions and cannot easily be obedience trained. Obedience training is best accomplished by kindness, patience, and a firm but gentle hand. This patronus charm fits Rinoa almost perfectly as she feels more herself surrounded by people than being alone, and has no problem sticking up for herself or anything she believes in and she does not like to be domesticated when it is forced upon her.
Boggart: Albeit rather vain and audacious, but Rinoa is petrified of ageing, becoming wrinkly and cracked. Although the reasons she gives are not just for vanity's purposes, she has witnessed her grandfather become senile in his old age and she links these together. Her boggart shows her as an ancient body, unsure of herself and displeasing to the eye. The opposite of how she wants to be remembered.
Personality:
Rinoa has a very strong will and determination that is within her, making her a very stubborn and bull-headed personality. She does not tend to back down from what she thinks is right or what she thinks is wrong and this can usually cause friction with alot of people, especially people with strong and stubborn natures also.
According to many people. who like and dislike her, she has a bitchy side to her when she feels threatened in any way. She is very vain and she takes pride in her appearance and always has. When she is insulted or threatened, even in the most minor of ways, this side of her comes out tenfold and she will throw insult and insult back at the culprit, even if it's just to try and make herself feel better.
Rinoa has a way about her that makes her approachable and she often uses this to her advantage to manipulate people in certain ways. Perhaps it is classed as bullying, moulding people into her puppets, but she enjoys it. Not only because she gets to control them but because she is likes to see how far she can push things.
Although she has her bad points, Rinoa is generally a friendly and upbeat person. She tends to stick to her own kind but that is not limited to house. She tends to seek out like-minded people.
She can however be very childish at time, and when things don't go her way after all her scheming is through, she will stomp and cry and slam doors in attempt to get her way. She likes to think she is all grown up and a little lady, but it's far from the truth.
She has three main habits.
- Tapping her nails on any surface.
- Flicking her hair back over her shoulder and scrapping it back.
- Biting her lower up.
Appearance: Rinoa has topaz coloured eyes, just a few shades darker than her light Auburn blonde hair that she wears long and either straight or in slight waves. She has thick shapely eyebrows that don't seem as thick as they are which frame her doll shaped face and her plump light lips. Overall, Rinoa has been blessed with a generally clear complexion; no spots, pimples or freckles and a natural warm glow to her cheeks. She smiles often, but mostly her smile shows in her eyes. She has a cocked sort of smirk for a smile and a dimple in the left side of her cheek which shows when she does.
For the time being, Rinoa is 5'3". Not too tall and she is a rather petite, slim looking person. She has developed her womanly curves already however and although she has small breasts, she is still grown up and looks feminine.
History: parents, siblings, back story, childhood, previous year at Hogwarts, etc. The History is a very important part of your character. It explains where your character came from and how they grew up. People’s roots add a lot to their personality, and explain a lot. At least three well rounded paragraphs, that must make sense.
Born to Zenoa and Walter Blacke, Rinoa Zenobia Blacke was the first of two children born to the newly weds.
