Personality: Jason tends to be a thinker, he over-analyses people and over-thinks everything. He is sociable but he sometimes doesn't understand the ways certain people do the things they do. He is book smart, and loves nothing better than sitting in silence reading a good book, mainly fictional novels. He finds reading fiction is an escape from learning the mundane subjects of schooling. He does however love school, and when something intruiges him, he often does extra curriculum studying to gain further knowledge on the subject. Although Jason likes the fantasy side of things, he is very down to earth and is mainly serious in his attitude. He doesn't tend to joke around or play pranks on people. To him, he's got better ways of spending his time than making someone else look like a fool.
Although he doesn't participate in pulling pranks himself, he is not adverse to laughing at them, nor a good joke. He often will look up from his books when he hears a ruckus and have a little giggle at the people surrounding him and their drama. He does not tend to but into peoples lives until they ask him for advice, and even then it is almost always the safest and most sensible answer that he advices. He is a caring person, and has an old soul trapped in a young man's body.
Appearance: Jason has messy dirty blonde hair that is always out of place and never kept neat and tidy. He has deep grey eyes that are framed by a thick dark set of lashes and thick, shapely eyebrows. His nose is straight but curves ever so slightly to the left from where he broke his nose in the first year by falling down the kitchen stairs at hogwarts. Now he can grow stubble, he often keeps it at a short length, a definate 5 o'clock shadow under his chin and stubble over his top lip. He is one of the taller students at Hogwarts, standing at 6'3", he towers over most of the other students. He is slim, almost on the gangly side if it wasn't for his slight muscles in his upper arms. His lips are thin yet full and always in good condition. He isn't cursed with winter chapped lips like most people. He prefers to wear smarter looking clothes instead of the dirty casual look. He wears dress shirts with jeans and shoes mostly.
History:
Born in Zurich, Germany, to Alfred and Mefusala Daines, Jason was born on 15th November in a normal Muggle hospital to normal Muggle parents. Alfred Daines met Mefusala in Zurich, Germany while they both worked at a company selling technology, computers and hardware. This is where their love began to grow and blossom, and after being content with one another for a long fifteen years, they decided to have a child to complete the circle of love.
Alfred was the technological wizard, whereas Mefusala had taken the job right out of high school and became comfortable in her life there, even though she was more of a nature lover at heart. She preferred to drink green tea and do yoga on sundays whereas Alf was always fondling something technical or at least reading about the subject.
Their house soon became over-run with computer books and self-fitness guides, a mixture of two totally seperate lifestyles that had mingled into one. It seemed opposites really did attract, however that was a 'new-age' way of things, according to Alf.
