[/i][/color][/size] You won't find Brinley blabbering meaningless nonsense
very often. At all, actually. Everything she says, even if its a small
reply, is well thought out. The fact that she doesn't speak much
makes anything she does say that more meaningful. Her voice
is clear and calm and gentle, and she never raises it or loses her
temper. Nor does she pick fights, or joins in on them. Drama causes
gray hairs, and she isn't vain exactly, but what kind of sixteen-year-old
walks around with a head full of old hair?

Observant. Being quiet has its advantages; she is often hyper-aware of
everything around her. She can read peoples faces and body
language exceptionally well, and her eyes are equally expressive
as well, but not so easy to read as one might seem to think. She
notices a lot, but stays near the side-lines, really not one to mingle
a lot. She trusts easily, because she trusts her judgement of
people. If she watches someone and "reads" them so to speak,
then finds that by what shes seen they are basically alright people,
she might befriend them, so long as she was completely certain.

Artistic.[/color][/i] Brinley absolutely loves to make poems, and draw/paint
things. She hasn't yet limited her specialty to just one medium
or tool, though she isn't very fond of charcoal and pastel. She likes
to sit by the lake and stare out in the silence, just listening to
the world around her. Sometimes she even sings to herself,
but since she hasn't sung around anyone else she hasn't
realised what a lovely voice she possesses.

Brave. Brinley will give her life for her friends.
She values them above her own well-being and would
sacrifice herself without complaint, though she doesn't exactly
know it yet. Ironic, considering she hates getting involved in drama
and the like, but if she realises that someone is in danger she
would gladly step in and put herself through any pain so they
wouldn't have to. This part of her personality could have easily
landed her in Gryffindor, but due to her secretive, quiet nature
and her high intelligence she was effortlessly thrown into Ravenclaw.[/ul]

that everyone in Ravenclaw pretty much loves her.[/size]

Brinley is a girl. Some consider her strikingly attractive,
with her plump lips and her green, brown-speckled eyes, but
to others she could be as repulsive as gum under their shoe.
It all depends on how you look at her. She stands around 5"4',
and is slim enough to remain a model but isn't anorexic, by far.
She has slight curves, but not the ones all the women wish for
so desperately. Her skin is soft and fair, not prone to break outs
but she is often cold. She has the occasional faint freckle on her
shoulders but nothing extreme. She has a tattoo of a phoenix
on her right shoulder blade that almost cost her her modelling
career but she couldn't love it more. Her hair is dirty blonde with
chunks of golden blonde here and there, and she has dark lashes.
She has some muscle, but not enough to win an arm wrestling
competition, and while this is true about her arms her legs are a
different story; she is an exceptionally fast runner. Being quiet
has given her an appearance of being delicate, like a flower or a
swan, combined with her looks, so its fitting her patronus is a
swan.


Brinley Sophia Graves was popped out of her mother on
April 29, which pretty much sucks, since her birthday would only
occur once every four years. So her parents changed it to May 1
instead. Her many siblings envied her because for some reason
her odd parents decided to give her a somewhat decent name,
while her older brother carries the name Nosebreath Graves,
her younger sister has the name Lucy In the Sky, and her younger
twin brothers have the delight of being named Thing One and Thing
Two. Of course for kicks her mother changed her name to Talula
Does the Hula In Hawaii, but her father (being the only sane one
of the litter, besides her) kept his name of Steve. You could say
that her family had a big influence on the artistic side of her, which
explains why she'd rather paint than do anything near aggressive
sports. For some reason though her family hadn't enough money
to provide for her anymore, and she was given up for foster care.
After bouncing around from family to family she landed in the
home of a model agent, which is how she wormed her way into
the modelling industry. "Worm" being a lofty term, she was more
or less forced, but at least she enjoyed it. Though the model agent gave
her up she remained in the business, but at this moment she
lives in a small little orphanage at the outskirts of Hogsmeade,
doubting she'll get adopted much less considered; far too old
now. By now she was already settled in to Hogwarts of course,
and landed Ravenclaw due to her intelligence, most likely. She
hadn't much for sharp wit according to other people, when in
reality she had plenty of playful teasing and jabs, she just keeps
it in. She developed her fear of fish at age five, when she was
attacked by her pet fish Guppy, whom had been placed under a
nasty jinx by her brother Nosebreath.[/center][/color]
