Hair: A very light strawberry blonde naturally although sometimes is dyed light blonde. It is just below shoulder length.
Style: Bijou likes to wear anything that is comfy and easy to move in. She does not like to wear tomboyish clothes, instead being a typical girl and opting for long skirts and vest tops. She likes dressing for the weather and will often be very summery in summer with long floaty dresses and skirts sort of hippy style and in the winter she loves to wrap up in puffy coats and accessorize with gloves, scarves and earmuffs.

P e r s o n a l i t y
Bijou can seem quite a quiet and timid person, but once you get to know her it is just that she is soft spoken. She is no more quiet that anybody else although she does take a while to open up properly to people. It is not a trust issue as such but it's just something that takes her a while to do.
Once you get to know her however, she can be quite bossy when it comes to studying and knowledge. Knowledge to her is a big thing and when people don't take it seriously she will grumble and get slightly annoyed.
Like most Ravenclaws, Bijou loves to read and learn. Her favourite subject being History of any kind and Muggle studies. Her vice however is that she tends to get carried away and will often learn little snippets of information instead of the whole lot.
Bijou is more of a serious character than she is funny, although she does find others funny instead of herself. Bijou is more of one who everyone turns to for advice and homework help instead of jokes and pranks.

For seventeen years, Bijou Lilyia D'Avery has been living in Hastings, England. Bijou was born to the pureblood wizard Stanley D'Avery and the pureblooded witch Renee (Twings) D'Avery and was the first of two offspring to the couple. Bijou has a younger sister named Amerie who is thirteen years old and chose to attend Beauxbatons.
Bijou is very much like her father in personality, he was an ex-Ravenclaw and is a very wise man being an older father than a lot of parents are. He works as a Mediwizard and also an Author, publishing three semi-successful books to date on subjects he has studied and explored. Bijou looks up to her dad most of all as he somehow seems to find a general balance of work and his family life.
Although Bijou got her father's brains, she got her mother's features. Bijou looks very much like her mother whereas her younger sister looks inbetween her parents.
Growing up in Hastings, Bijou was very interested in the historical side of the place she lived, studying a lot on the magical and muggle history that happened there. Bijou finds muggle's fascinating and often gets very passionate when learning anything of the Muggle lifestyle or to do with history.
Bijou was very excited when she recieved her acceptance letter from Hogwarts as she so badly wanted to follow in her father's footsteps. Bijou did not stop smiling when her family took her to Diagon Alley to get her school supplies and she adored getting her quills and ink as well as her books the most. She was so excited that she was shaking when she got onto platform 9 & ¾'s and the train journey seemed to take days instead of hours.
Bijou's excitement didn't drain and her eyes did not close for a minute as she took in every sight and sound that the train journey and Hogwarts had to offer.
Unlike the usual Bijou, she raced off the train eager to get the sorting hat on her head. As soon as it shouted Ravenclaw, Bijou thought her heart was about to burst in pride and happiness that she had done what she wanted, followed her father's path. The next day she sent a letter home to announce the news and her parents were thrilled.
A few years later Bijou began Animagus training. It wasn't something she particularly set out to do, but it just sort of happened. She struggled for a while to grasp becoming an animagus, but slowly but surly her animagus form came easier to her each time she tried than the last time and she found that it took the appearance of a white dove.
Her animagus tutoring was probably the toughest time of her life and the toughest thing she has ever had to endure, but will it be the toughest thing ever what with the castle going nuts?
