;personality; Hallie is a very sensative person. Because of how she was raised, the lies she was told, the dad she didn't have, the mother she lost, the aunt she recieved, the actions she proposed, the content that was suggested to her; Hallie thinks a lot before she speaks or does. She tries very hard not to make the same mistakes she has seen over her fourteen years of life. Hallie takes everything to heart, so people must be very very careful about what they say and do around her.

Unsure. Unstable. Untrusting. Hallie is very unsure of herself and the people of around her. Not being on top of things is one thing Hal struggles with the most. She could never tell whether someone was lying to her, so she is always very careful. Hallie is also very unstable. Nobody every made sure she was confident in who she was and believed in her, so her confidence level is low. Untrusting is probably Hallie's number one flaw. People have never really accepted Hal for who she was and is. Hallie can't get over the fact that she is not top dog. She has always wanted to be. (She made the mistake of telling someone something and they swore not to tell, but the following week everyone knew.) So she doesn't trust herself very much, much less everyone else.

Hallie is a very perky girl. She has always wanted to be up there in standards and have people appreciate her and want to be around her. She tries so hard to have friends and be who she is, but she just can't get over the fact that the people she wants to be friends with, well aren't that easy. She's quite stubborn, hardheaded, and can't get over herself. But she is also sweet, caring, and straight-forward.

;history; Hallie Peyton Hestand was born on May 21st in Wales, around three in the morning to Heidi and Howard Hestand. Accept the fact that Howard was a clown. He worked for an American Circus that traveled all over the world, so he wasn't home much. Missing the birth of their daughter angered Heidi. When he didn't come home for awhile Heidi believed he didn't love them anymore. This caused the divorce. The splitting of her parents: mother and father she had never met, really tore at Hallie. She was three years old when it happened, so she didn't understand much, but at five Hallie was sick of the lies her mother told her on why she didn't have a daddy.

Years past and her mother began to suffer from depression. Life had never been good for anybody, but Heidi just couldn't keep it in. About a year after Hallie's ninth birthday her mother was diagnosed with some kind of cancer. She died of it a few months after they found it. Hal grieved and was sent to live with her aunt Belinda in London. It was a new place, new school, new family she had never met (but were related to her). She pretty much gave up on having a good life. Around July after her 11th birthday Hallie recieved a letter for Hogwarts. It was new to her aunt, but Belinda agreed to let her go.

Her aunt helped her get ready, buy books and other knick-knacks along the way. She bought a tabby cat and named her Greenwald for fun. Hallie took the cat everywhere it became her new best friend. She left for Hogwarts on September 1st in search of new intelligence and better friends! Hallie was sorted into Hufflepuff and is now a fourth year.
