The Looks
He has two different hairstyles, either shaved or slightly spiked. He does not care much about his outward appearance, but usually during the summer months his hair is kept to a minimum for effort.
Lucas has pale green eyes, not bright enough to be noticed at first glance, but green enough so they don’t look a watered down version on the colour.
Lucas build is average, neither fat nor thin. He doesn’t work out but his active nature tends to work off most of the weight for him.
He has a cheeky smile and when he smiles he has dimples, a little cute factor making his grin even cheekier.


About The Boy
Upfront
When meeting Lucas for the first time, what you see if definitely what you get. He is boisterous and fun-loving, often getting himself into crazy and rather odd situations that he sometimes, eventually gets himself out of. He always ends up in the strangest situations, whether it be an odd argument about kelpies or hanging by his toe above the whomping willow.
It is very rare you won’t see Lucas up to something, making it his life’s work to pull pranks and get into mischief. He finds it highly amusing and even when he’s doing the worst jobs imaginable in detention he knows it was totally worth it.
Lucas is not a bully, but he does enjoy seeing others in predicaments, giving him a few laughs. However he knows the difference between bullying and playfulness and he will not be scared to stand up to the bully in defence of the victim, however him being Muggleborn he is not technically as familiar nor skilled with magic as half-bloods or purebloods and usually ends up losing in magic battles or battles of wits.
Whenever he gets riled up however, if someone gets past the point of annoying him and into the dangerous territory of aggravating him he will not be afraid of a fist fight, and will gladly fight them, forgetting all about the consequences and such, thus he usually ends up being in the dog house and in detention.


Underneath
It is very rare that Lucas shows his serious side (if it even exists) and he plans on taking serious advantage of still being a kid before he has to grow up and act as an adult should. Lest to say, he is not looking forward to that day and hopes to prolong his youth for as long as possible, and his immaturity.
Like most boys, Lucas will like girls, and he will welcome flirting with open arms, however it will take an extremely special girl to capture his heart and make him even think of settling down with them, not because they aren’t good enough for him, but because it’s another step closer to adulthood.

Before Lucas
Mia Birch, a lonely typical Hufflepuff who was not anywhere near popular status within Hogwarts, James McGuff, a popular ‘jock’ Gryffindor both were in the same year at Hogwarts, but it wasn’t until the Yule ball in their sixth year did James really take notice of how much Mia had blossomed into a young woman. Her younger years, she was a shy pasty frail thing who seemed to need to grow into her own skin and find herself, unsure of who she truly was, however she did well in classes. James however was the total opposite and was the stud of the school, having a different girlfriend every term and having no problem with his stud status he got from the school population. He was voted as prom king a staggering four times before he graduated Hogwarts, showing how popular he really was. However he was not the cleverest of the bunch and sometimes lagged behind in his studies, especially subjects he did not enjoy. At the Yule ball in the pairs sixth year, Mia had finally grown up and filled out into her womanly curves and by face value was now a stunning young woman, although still tarnished with the loner reputation. James had taken the most popular girl at the time to the ball, but once his eyes set onto Mia, he knew he wanted her. After months and months of trying to get with her, and after much deliberation and many rejections from Mia for not wanting to get hurt, she accepted his request of being together, and just a few months before graduation, they got together and for once, James was blissfully happy as Mia was a puzzle and a mystery for him, a challenge to unlock, and likewise with James for Mia.
They both went to the graduation ball together, and to go off with a bang, James proposed to Mia in front of the entire school. Utterly shocked and embarrassed yet happy, Mia accepted and it was the start of a long engagement for the pair of graduates.
It wasn’t long after graduation that Mia found she was pregnant, and scared to death, she told James, who in turn was scared also. He began to panic and not accept that things were moving so fast for him and he left her. A couple of weeks later, he came back to her and apologised about his immature behaviour and promised he would still by her and grow up, which he did. It was during Mia’s pregnancy that James got a job working for the Daily Prophet as an apprentice editor, which surprisingly enough was on a good enough wage, just enough to support his new family. Six months later, Nathan was born.
Not a year later and things were going fine for the trio, Mia was at home looking after baby Nathan and James continued to work at the Daily Prophet, awaiting news of a placement he had been put in for as a proper editor when he got home and his fiancée had news that he was going to be a father for a second time. James was more pleased this time, and not a few hours later did he receive a letter by owl that he had got the promotion he had asked for, meaning more money. The couple seemed to be pretty lucky, and it meant they could afford to actually carry on having a family, even though the pair was only 22 years old and living at James’ parents’ house.
A few months later, they decided to buy their own house, with help from both their parents and they moved in when Mia was heavily pregnant with baby number 2. 3 months later, with the house still in need of decorating fully, Mia gave birth to baby Lucas.
Deciding that was enough babies for now, they concentrated on their little family and decorating their house and making it a home for a few years and when Lucas was 9 and Nathan was 11, Mia found herself pregnant once more at age 31 and gave birth to baby number 3, Harvey.

Childhood
Lucas’ childhood was a fairly typical one. His parents both being muggles he grew up in a typical muggle fashion, watching all sorts of wild cartoon shows and being the brat on the odd occasion. Like any typical little boy, Lucas loved playing outside with his older brother, climbing trees and annoying the neighbours, much to his mother’s distress. When it was nearing time for school, a letter turned up saying he had been accepted into Hogwarts. His parents had told him of their magic school, but Lucas didn’t believe their stories and just thought it was a fairytale, that was of course until he went there and saw it for the first time.
