That is because she is off in her own little imaginative world in which she could test out all the possibilities of what could happen. In this way, Anita is also very prepared. Anita Li Sun was born as a surprise child to Jian and Vivian Sun. They hadn’t planned on a third child, after being quite happy with one boy and one girl. However, not only did they have that third child, but Anita was one to push all their buttons too. She was a dare devil. It seemed she wasn’t born with an ounce of fear in her body, and never really learned much. She was always keeping her parents on their toes, and tiring them out. However, at the end of the day, her parents would never say that they didn’t want Anita. They loved her all the same as their two older children, they just wished she would climb trees so high, and roll down hills.

Anita and her brother, Henry, and her sister Mei, were all very close. They grew up in a small village in Britain, their house being one of the biggest in the small place. Anita’s father was the ambassador from China to the Minister of Magic. It was how Anita’s parents first met and fell in love. At the time, Anita’s mother had been working as a secretary in the minister’s office, but soon after their marriage and the first two children, Vivian decided to become a housewife. At least twice a year, the Sun family would travel to China where Jian would work, and Anita and her siblings could visit her grandparents. These trips made the children closer, as they had to stick together and watch over each other. The three of them could sit and talk about nothing for hours. Life was wonderful.

The house slowly started to quiet as her siblings went to Hogwarts. Henry was an upstanding Hufflepuff, and Mei a smart Ravenclaw. It would get very lonely in the house for the four years that Anita spent by herself. However, soon enough, her siblings were home, and Anita was off to Hogwarts for her own schooling. Here Anita studied magic for four years.

Then in her fifth year, May to be exact, Anita was brought bad news. Her brother and sister had been in a car accident. Her brother had been dating a muggle girl and apparently they had been going on a double date. It was a head on collision in the rain, and her brother had been killed instantly, her sister in a coma in the hospital. Anita was able to take the rest of the year off to be with her family without any consequences. Mei never woke from her coma, and in June, she also passed.

Anita was crushed, as were her parents. She contemplated not going back to school, but staying closer to her parents, which needed her more then ever. The child that was once thought of as an unplanned pleasant surprise was now all they had left. Her parents were forever thankful for Anita from that day on, that she had been given to them for a reason.

The summer was hard to get through, and during the tough times, it was decided that they family would move to China. Anita figured that this would be the end of her magical education. She would never finish school because now, Hogwarts was truly out of her reach. However, the soon to be sixth year received a letter from Hogwarts saying that under the circumstances, Anita would be able to finish her schooling. The letter granted her acceptance for her final two years, as well as a condolence. Anita was grateful, and her parents supported her even though the distance was massive.

Anita went back to Hogwarts and tried to resume like nothing had ever happened. However, it was hard to forget that she wouldn’t be going home to a full house. But soon, once things calmed down, and Anita re-found her place. She found her passion for animals, being able to talk to them and found their presence comforting. She also decided to join the Gryffindor house team and played quidditch for two years as Beater.

Anita graduated with honors and moved in with her parents in China. It was a different lifesytle. She wasn’t used to the rigid way the Chinese lived. She was used to the freedom of doing what ever you wanted, however you wanted in Britian. It didn’t take Anita long to realize that this was not the place for her. She traveled back to Britian and found a job at a muggle zoo. Soon, she found that she missed the magical creatures she had grown to know. However, the only job she could find was for the Ministry be nothing better than a sort of animal control agent. The job was a lot more trying than one would think and soon she had ten years under her belt.

It was during this job that Anita met her soon to be fiancé. Everard Wylie was an dragon trainer in town for a conference that had asked Anita out for coffee after a meeting in the elevator. It was love at first sight. Even after Everard left for Russia where he was working, Anita and him maintained contact and soon her asked her to be his wife. Anita realized that her job was just not stable enough. Everard was talking about coming back to England, but in the meantime, Anita needed a change. It was then when she saw the opening at Hogwarts. They needed a Care of Magical Creatures Professor and it seemed like a perfect fit. So she took the job, and the rest is history.
