She dresses very stylish in the more retro chiq look of the underground London community she has come to love. Black is always included in her outfit, along with splashes of bright colors, mostly red, pink, yellow, teal, and purple. Dream On: Addie is a dreamer. She likes to think about that what if’s in life. She seems to be a little air headed, not all there all the time. That is because she is off in her own little imaginative world in which she could test out all the possibilities of what could happen. In this way, Addie is also very prepared. She is able to try and see the outcomes of all situations.
Rock On: Addie wishes that she was a rock star. She loves the spot light and loves to be the center of attention, however, she lacks any skills that would ever gain her the life in the lights as she wishes. This trait has recent popped up having been put to the side after the tragedy. She wants attention that her parent aren't comfortable giving her anymore. This being sad, Addie is very enthusiastic about everything she does. She wants people to take notice and applaud her efforts in everything she does.
Live On: Addie above all loves to have fun, and she loves to have been the one that creates the fun. She is always trying to get people to go out and have a good time. She is good at planning and getting things in order so that they could be accomplished without stress and to the maximum capacity of fun. On the other side, some people find her overbearing, always trying to do something and never taking a minute to breath. Addie knows above all that life is short, so she is not about to waste it. Not many people know her history, something she tries to hide, she doesn’t want people feeling sorry for her, so they just think that she is crazy hyper and needs to take some medication. Parents: Barry Walter & Penelope AgathaDiem Barrows (67) Siblings: Hector Eden Barrows (Deceased – would be 41) & Helen Wendela Barrows (Deceased – would be 36) History: Addison Rhoda Rose was born as a surprise child to Barry and Agatha Barrows. They hadn’t planned on a third child, after being quite happy with one boy and one girl. However, not only did they have that third child, but Addison was one to push all their buttons too. She was a bright child not so much a trouble maker, as much as a prankster, who never meant any real harm. She was always keeping her parents on their toes, and tiring them out. However, at the end of the day, her parents would never say that they didn’t want Addie. They loved her all the same as their two older children.
Addie and her brother, Hector, and her sister Helen, were all very close. They grew up in Greece, her mother’s native country, none of her siblings having any sort of magical power, nor her parents. Magic was just something read in fairy tales, and was never seriously thought of. Her mother worked as the manager of a hotel that looked over the coast of Greece into the Mediterranean Sea. Her father also worked here as a concierge, seeing as he was British and could speak French as well as English and Greek. Their family was allowed to live in a rather nice set of rooms and here they grew up.
The siblings complemented each others personalities, as much as Addie was a trouble maker, Hector was able to talk her out of anything, as well as be able to go along with Addie’s wild imagination and what ifs in life. Helen was the smart one, the quite little lady. She was always the logical one, explaining to Addie why her ideas were sometimes so outlandish. Addison always appreciated this advice. And so, the three of them could sit and talk about nothing for hours. Life was wonderful.
Addie, as well as her siblings, attended an English privet school in Greece, where they could speak English as their father preferred, but still learn Greek. Addie's brother and sister graduated. The age difference was rather large between them, but it never really matter. Addison was just starting school as her siblings left. Hector was to Cambridge to study law, and Helen went to a local University to study marketing. They were all a normal Muggle family.
That was until Addie turned eleven, and the following summer, she received a letter from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. After going through the shock and the eventual acceptance of the situation, as any muggle born witch or wizard goes through, Addison headed of to France to start her magical training. Luckily, she knew enough French from her father that the language barrier was almost non-existent. Here Addie studied magic for four years.
Then in her Fourth year, May to be exact, Addie was brought bad news. Her brother and sister had been in a car accident. A head on collision in the rain, and her brother had been killed instantly, her sister in a coma in the hospital. Addison was able to take the rest of the year off to be with her family without any consequences. Helen never woke from her coma, and in June, she also passed.
Addie was crushed, as were her parents. She contemplated not going back to Beauxbatons, but staying closer to her parents, which needed her more then ever. The child that was once thought of as an unplanned pleasant surprise, was now all they had left. It seemed as though it would take a little while for Addie's parents to realize that they were thankful for Addie, that she had been given to them for a reason. But for now, visions of Hector and Helen were all they could see in Addie.
The summer was hard to get through, and during the tough times, it was decided that they family would move to England. Addie figured that this would be the end of her magical education. She would never finish school because now, Beauxbatons was truly out of her reach. However, the soon to be fifth year received a letter from yet another school of magic, Hogwarts. The letter granted her acceptance for her final three years, as well as a condolence. Addison was grateful, and her parents supported her, or more supported her getting out of the house.
Since Addy had attended Beauxbatons, a school that takes their OWLs at an later time then the fifth years at Hogwarts, so her first year started off very hard. She had to make up the work and take her exams. It is a struggle just to get through the work and ignore the pain of losing her best friends.
