Sarie Thimble stared out at the starry sky. She couldn't believe that she was confused. Time caught up with her, she was thinking about the Yule Ball that happen a while back. She wondered if she could ever live that night over again. She liked that evening. She even felt a small tingle in her stomach when she thought about it.
She was bored and wondered if anyone would come up here. It didn't bothered her either way. She was a little lonely. She couldn't believe her time here was running out.

Ash aimlessly wandered the corridors. He hadn't been able to sleep very well lately. He wasn't sure why though. He had a great job, an amazing boyfriend, the best friends a guy could ask for... life was great. So... what was the problem? Of course, truth be told, he wasn't so sure how perfect things were in the romance department anymore. Sure Tyler was great, but things were starting to feel weird between them. They didn't fight, but still... it felt like they were drifting apart somehow, and Ash hated that.
The raven-haired young man sighed as he thought of all the confusion his life was right now. Well ok, that was an exagerration. The only confusion was where he and Tyler stood. He didn't want to break up with his boyfriend, but maybe Tyler just wasn't the right person for him. Hell, maybe no one was.
Ash angrily wiped away the tears that welled up in his eyes at that thought. Damnit, Ashton! You're not fifteen years old anymore, get a hold of yourself! he scolded himself silently. But he couldn't stop the single tear that escaped and rolled down his face.
Looking up, Ash was surprised to find himself on the roofs of the castle. How had he not noticed that? But what surprised him even more, was who was already there.
"Sarie?"

Sarie turned to see her old school firend Ash. She hadn't talked to him in a while. "I do believe that has been my name for almost fifteen years, whats up Ash?" She joked. She wasn't even sure why she was up here. She just didn't want to be by the lake. "Guess I'm not the only one who can't sleep tonight." She said. She flopped down on the floor and stared at the stars waiting for Ash to reply.

A small humorless laugh escaped the blue-eyed boy. "Yeah, guess it has." he sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "No. Haven't been sleeping well at all. Been thinking about a lot I guess."
He sat down next to Sarie and offered a tentative smile. "What about you? Why haven't you been sleeping?"

If she heard that girl snore one more time Aria would probably loose it. Then she heard it again, and the next sound to be heard was Aria's snarling. She had been kept up three nights in a row now due to the girl's snoring it was really bad and Aria was just sick of it. There were bags under her eyes and she spent most of the day yawning even during her classes. She tried to broach the subject with her, but of course the girl had a bit of tude and insisted that Aria was lying because she of course did not snore. It wasn't Aria's fault she sounded like a jacked up buzz saw. She wanted to change rooms desperately, but was told it was not possible this far into the semester. After another loud snore Aria threw the covers off her bed, grabbed her robe threw it on, then placed her slippers on her feet. Sighing she left the room heading down to the common room, only to find it occupied by a group of seventh years apparently cramming for some exam or another. Not in the mood for more noise Aria secretly snuck out of the room. For a while she wandered the corridors not knowing where she was going simply hoping she didn't get caught being out of bed after hours. She knew what she was doing was wrong but she thought that maybe a stroll would help make her tired that way when she went back into her room she would simply fall out snoring and all. Aria walked around a while trying to avoid detection by ducking into classrooms at any sign of a shadow. It was this tactic that caused her to end up through the door that led up to the roof. Aria this wasn't such a bad thing thought that she might get a nice night time view it was too bad though because when she walked out onto the roof she found that she was not alone. There were two other people up there already, and her heart started to pound because she wasn't tying to get herself into trouble. So far no one had seen her and she figured she could easily sneak off before either person saw her, too bad her two left feet just screwed her up. While trying to turn and walk back through the door she tripped taking the door with her which slammed loudly causing her to swear just as loudly. "DAMMIT" she said knowing now that her cover had been blown (hope you guys don't mind me butting in

(no not at all please keep the post going lol)
Sarie heard the loud curse at her. She wondered who the girl was. She had seen her around and knew she was second year. She smiled she was the same way when she first got to school. She couldn't stay still it during the evening. She stood up to wave her over. To show she could come over and sit. The night was young and she was bored. She may be a prefect but she needed more friends.

Aria knew it was too much to hope that no one heard that. So she didn't even bother trying to hide anymore, getting up she sighed, dusted herself off and turned to find that one of the people up there was actually welcoming her. This wasn't really what she had expected but at this time who was she to be rude since she was the walk who walked in on whatever was going on up there.
When Aria looked around she saw the girl who was welcoming her over. She knew this girl to be a prefect though she did not know her name, or really anything else about her. She was simply one of those people Aria saw around the school. Of course being that the girl was a prefect that did mean she was older than Aria which made her feel a bit awkward. Figuring she just had to go for it she smiled and walked over to the girl and what looked like one of the professors.
The smile sort of disappeared from Aria's face as she started to wonder whether or not this girl was setting her up or something to get into trouble. At this point it was too late to turn back so she simply walked over to them "Um hey there, hope I'm not interrupting or anything I just needed some fresh air" Aria's heart was beating fast hoping that she wasn't about to land herself in detention for this.

Sarie could tell the girl was nervous. She was too when she ran into older people when she wondered around the school at night. It was how she met Ash. "I know what you mean. I hate staying inside, it's too nice out this evening." She said to the young girl. "If I wasn't a prefect. I would most likely be flying right now... but I need to set some sort of example since examples seem to missing."
Sarie wondered where were all of the helpful older students. She seemed to be the only one who wanted to help the years under her. "You're a second year aren't you?"
