Lauretta left her office, walking down a small hallway and into her classroom. Well, isn't that weird to say, or even think about. My classroom, the young professor beamed. Once in the room, she ventured over to her desk, fingers gliding over the smooth mahogany surface. With a swish of her wand, all of the dust in the classroom was gone and the windows were open to greet the autumn day. Lauretta turned to the board, and wrote words in the air, the chalk spelling it out on the board for her. Everything seemed about ready, and it was still ten minutes before class would officially start.
Today was the day classes started, and for all purposes, one of the very few days that they'd be in the classroom. Most days, she'd be having her classes meet in one of the green houses. Reviewing and test days were more conveniently located in the classroom.
The former Slytherin took a seat in her chair, spinning around once with a laugh before glancing over her lesson plan, wondering exactly what type of students would be filling the room. If they were in there 5th year or older, she'd know that they actually found the subject interesting, seeing as it was no longer required. She knew that if she did have older students, they'd be more or less annoyed by the review, but she knew that the younger students would appreciate it.
Today might not being exciting as most, but at Hogwarts... there was never a dull moment.
