(it matches her animagus form)

Likes. Climbing things, being outside, water, fitness/sports
(though she still throws like a girl,) inside jokes, cuddling and hugs,
playful flirting, fruit, using charm and wit to her advantage.
Dislikes. Being inside for too long, soda (it tastes good but it
gets her really hyper and its quite hilarious to watch,) large animals,
desperate people, dishonesty.
Pros. Charming, calming presence, loyal, cute, sense of humor, patient.
Cons. Somewhat of a flirt, afraid of relationships, wary of letting
new people into her group of friends, quite ruthless when her or her
kind are threatened, a bit shy at first.
Harja is fairly adorable; she is aware of how cute she is because that is
what she created for herself. Able to change from sweet to sultry in a
matter of seconds, however? That is an acquired talent. While the furthest
thing from vain she does know how to properly utilize her looks, and
enjoys playful flirting despite shying from relationships (of which she
is fearful.) She has a very calming presence, which ties in well with
her best friend's fiery and somewhat unpredictable temper, and her
patience is nearly unmatched. At first meeting she comes off as
incredibly charming even though shes a bit shy, and only in the
company of a close friend will you find her blossoming with humor
and speaking freely. She becomes more trustworthy to newcomers
when in the presence of trusted ones, but she still has a hard time
accepting others into her close circle. Extremely loyal once you have
gained her trust, she will be an amazing friend to you, a confidante
in its truest form.
Eyes. Green
Hair. Blonde
Height. 5'7"
Face Claim. Erin Heatherton
Features. A cute yet incongruous smattering of freckles on
her nose and the tops of her cheeks, forest green eyes.
A golden girl, she always has a nice tan and keeps herself
incredibly fit. Harja's hair falls in natural, luscious curls, but she
often straightens it as she finds both styles suit her well. Her
eyes are forest green, and she has an incongruous smattering
of freckles on her nose and the tops of her cheeks, which while
unexpected proves welcoming to her overall appearance.

History. Born on april fools--sure to pave the way for a myriad
of jokes later down the road--to her parents Hadley and Wolfram,
Harja was quite the odd child. Odd not in the sense of social
awkwardness but the particular places she chose to hide when
frightened. After a loud noise startled her she managed to scoot
herself under the couch for hours, during which her hysterical
parents nearly tore the house down trying to find her. Her father,
trying to ease the tension, joked that they should put a collar with
a little bell on it on her to keep track of her whereabouts.
Being her father was always terribly busy with Ministry work her
mother always brought her along to St.Mungo's with her, and
that was where she met her first--and best--friend, Bruno. His
mother was also a mediwitch there and the two were friends,
hoping that their children might get along in the hospital's tiny
yet welcoming daycare. Harja was in the playroom, clutching her
bear stuffed toy Percival (of whom she never left home with)
when she heard a ruckus coming from the art corner. A little boy
was getting angry at another toddler when he couldn't find the
red crayon, and he was determined to get it no matter how many
times she said she didn't know where it was. Harja calmly waddled
over and said she'd help him look for it, and with that she placed
Percival on the nearest chair and started to search. Turned out
she actually stacked a few board games on a chair to climb up
and reach the shelf with the markers box, and after it all came
tumbling down on her she miraculously pulled out a fresh red
crayon. She handed it to him with coloured smudges on her face
(kids were quite notorious for not capping the marker lids correctly)
and with that they were friends. To this day she can still remember
the look on his face, and once for his birthday she wrapped up
that little red crayon and gave it to him as a present. He denies
it, but she could've sworn she saw him tear up a little.
Bruno received his Hogwarts letter weeks before her, and poor
Harja was convinced he was going without her. He kept saying
the owl probably got lost, but she was still very upset at the idea
of him leaving her. They had even concocted a little plan to sneak
her into the school in one of his suitcases, just in case. Of course
the plan would never come into fruition because a day or two after
she received her letter, and the pair celebrated together. Their
early school days consisted of finding secret passageways and
snooping around as many first years did, but what changed for
Harja was the 'scholarship' she applied for during her fourth year.
It wasn't quite the same as the muggle definition of the word,
as her grades were so high she was given permission to train to
become an animagus. Out of the thousands that applied only
she was the one who got it, and to the delight of her parents
she began her training during the summer before her fifth year.
Of course she didn't perfect it until the end of her fifth year, as
children practicing such a dangerous art is frowned upon. Once
Bruno saw her animagus form--an adorable little snubnosed
monkey--his face couldn't resist breaking into a giant grin, and
he soon nicknamed her his little Yeti-monkey, because to him
she looked more like a cute little yeti, as odd as the comparison
was.
