Likes.
- Old music (anything from the 20s, 30s and 40s she adores,
and she often plays her old records and sings while teaching class.
She finds those eras to be impeccably glamorous and elegant,
and she has found the next few generations to be lacking.)- Flowers and plants (a given, really, considering her profession.
She used to have an eating disorder and ran for incredibly long
distances until her therapist suggested she turn to gardening as
a healthier alternative. She took to it immediately, having loved
the flower's natural perfume.)- Languages (Having lived a great portion of her life elsewhere
than England, Jasmine has found a talent for speaking other
languages. Besides English she is fluent in Italian, and is
attempting to try her hand at the oriental dialects.)- Vintage (Jasmine has a strange fascination with times past,
whether it was her aforementioned preferance for older music, or
classic movies and clothing. You wont see her walking around in
complete vintagewear but she always manages to incorporate a
vintage piece in her outfit somewhere. She loves elegance.)
Dislikes.
- Disrespect (Anything short of common courtesy and she wont think
too fondly of you, though thats not to say she wont still treat you
with decency. Somewhat old-fashioned, she believes in respect
and chivalry.) - Cheesecake (She is convinced that cheese and pastries
should not go together. Just.. No. -shudders-) - Attitude (Jasmine cannot stand encountering pompous
personalities. You are not better than anyone else, you are
mortal and you will die with the rest of humanity when it is
your time. There is no sense going around lording yourself
over someone with power your deluded self doesn't have.)
Despite the elegant and classical pretense Jasmine
isn't what you would expect. She is thoughtful, kind
and generous as most who grace the Hufflepuff house
go, but her wit and sense of humor quite nearly surpass
her grace. She carries herself with a poise and fluidity
unlike many her age yet still manages to remain a
carefree and humorous individual, and it is an incredible
surprise to hear the strange and hilarious quips that
pass her lips. While unlikely to advertise her private life
Jasmine does not feel the need to keep secrets of dark
histories, she fully accepts her past and would freely talk
about the problems she overcame if anyone asked.
As a professor Jasmine is very encouraging. She wants her
students to do well and has no problem putting a little more
effort in to ensure that they succeed, whether it be extra
tutoring sessions or offering to revise their work after class.
She wont tolerate any disrespect in her class but as long as
you remain courteous you will always be met with a smile.
The classroom is always a calming atmosphere, as she
believes music and plants a perfect and soothing

Appearance. With quite a few ethnicities thrown into the
mixing pot Jasmine emerged a striking individual, with

side, when mixed with her heart one could almost say
she wouldn't be unwise to try and gain a few pounds,
but she is happy the way she is. She always manages
