Appearance

hair style: Dark brown, usually kept down in elegant waves below her shoulders. Effy keeps her hair layered and her bangs swept to the side over her eyes. & Claire's hair has always been lighter then Effy's. It is also straighter and does not curl. She also keeps it down, but it hangs limpy over her shoulders.
eye color: Both girls have the same light blue almost sea green eyes.
skin tone: pale, but with a golden tone. & Just plain pale.
body type: 5'5'', thin and curvy.
clothing & make-up: Effy wear a lot of dark clothes. Black and grey make up most of her wardrobe. She has a more elegant, more flirty style then her sister. She wears her clothes tight and short, layering dresses over tights or tight black jeans with loose t-shirt that are low cut and fall over her petite body. & Jeans and T-shirts would be the outfit of choice for Claire, but her sister usually insists that she try and dress up a little more. She tries to keep it as simple as she can get away with, choosing more color and not choosing anything that shows off her body too much.

Personality

Elizabeth Wynn is quiet. She keeps her inner thoughts to herself. When she does talk, her words have a purpose. She is very cunning and contemplative. Yet, she is the sister more sought after. There is something interesting about her which starts with her secretive and compelling manner and ends with her tight clothes and dark makeup. Effy is smart, book smart, because she knows she has to be, and very street smart, because its natural. She seems to always have a plan, but really it is just whims build on some kind of intelligence. She is very intuitive and can sense things around her. She rarely lets herself get close to anyone, as for some reason they always seem to leave her. She is self destructive, and hate it. The only person that truly understands her is her sister, and even her she doesn't tell everything to. She is very controlling of her sister, dominating her in most things. however, this is because she knows her sister will never leave her, despite all. She is very secretive, and jumble of emotions that she pushes deep down in side her. She is seductive and sexual. She likes to be admired, but she hates taking the next step of admiration. The thing she fears most is herself. & Claire Wynn is a sweet girl. She has a kind heart, and a happy attitude. However, she is constantly diminutive toward her sister and her true personality rarely comes out. Claire is talkative and friendly. She wants people to like her and loves any attention, though she doesn't know how to handle it correctly. Always being told and corrected by her sister has made Claire less sure about herself. She feels like she is constantly being judged, but she loves her sister more then anything. She has become a follower, not able to walk the path by herself. She always try to make her sister happy, and that fuels most things she does. Like her sister, Claire is smart. This intelligence is purely book smart though. Reading and studying are never a chore for Claire. It is one of the few things that she knows comes easier to her then to her sister. She revels in the idea that she is better for once. Claire would love to have friends, but she has few as Effy seems to push everyone away, and Claire would never leave Effy's side. Claire is completely loyal and loving.

Together: In a small house, on a normal street, in a normal town, Elizabeth and Claire Wynn were born. Elizabeth was born 6 minutes before Claire and the domination started there. Even as small children, Effy would insist on going first and catering to her sister second. They grew up as a happy family in a happy house. But all was not as it seemed. At the age of 9, the two girls were witness to the demise of their brother. Chris was a disappointment to their parents. The boy had been out of school for a year and he had constantly gotten in trouble with the law for drugs and partying. His parents didn't know what to do with him. They argued about it constantly. Quintin wanted to throw him out and never see him again, forget her had a son, while Hortencia couldn't give up her baby and continued to enable him, giving him money and lodging and overlooking his obvious drug and alcohol use in her house. The twins witnessed all of this and didn't understand it. Months later, Quintin left. He disappeared. He never phoned or wrote, he was gone and they had no idea where her went. Slowly, Hortencia fell into a deep depression. She didn't get out of bed and didn't talk to anyone. Chris continued to live in the house in his delusional state. The twins were left almost alone, and on Effy's lead, continued to mask the families problems. To everyone around them, their father was in China on an extended business stay for the Ministry and their mother was working on a new novel and completely into her work. The girls kept this up until at eleven, Hogwarts called. They went off, leaving their mother, now as bad as their brother, alone. It wasn't hard for Effy, or so she put up the front, but it seemed to affect Claire greatly.

Effy's Story: Effy started off as a happy baby, never crying, but strangely quiet. As she grew, she was seen to be moody, but moody with a purpose. It was clear that things around her greatly affected her. She would feed off the environment and play off of that. She was always over taking her sister, not because Effy felt she was better then her, she just wanted to go first to make sure that Claire didn't fail or fall behind. She felt like she needed to lead her sister. Effy was always very close to Chris, much closer then Claire ever was. They would talk for hours about nothing and everything. Chris was much older then Effy and through him, Effy learned about how the world could be. Effy knew about everything Chris did, the drugs, his friends, the cops. All of it was told to Effy in great deal. With this, Effy learned how to be street smart and it became second nature. When her parents started having problems, Effy couldn't help but sit on the top of the stiars and listen to them argue. She was convinced that emitting emotion and talking about your feelings only made things worse. She started to become secretive, living in a world inside her head. When her dad left, this was it for Effy. It was proof that loving only led to pain and from then on didn't let anyone get close to her in fear that they would just leave her like dad did. The fall of her mother only solidified her argument.

Hogwarts opened a new world to Effy. however, it was a world that she didn't really care to be in. She performed well in school, but only because she had too. Chris had never done well in school and he had expressed to her once that he regretted it. She didn't want to regret that too. Effy came off very cold her first couple years at Hogwarts, mainly because she didn't want to get close to anyone. She pushed them away, afraid that she would eventually do something that would hurt them, or they would do something to hurt her. Every summer she would go back home to her mother and to Chris, who had yet to do anything with his life, let alone get clean. It was through him that she had her first drink and her first hit. Effy found the numbing effect lovely, and she fell in love with her self-destructive side. At school she now was known as a little rebel. While keeping up her grade, rules seemed like fences to be jumped over to Effy. Usually dragging along her sister, and then eventually going off on her own, The young girl found her way into dungeons and hallways, wandering around. She made a few friends she kept around just for the sake of it. They never really talked about anything that mattered and just did things that were never deep, and usually involved breaking into something with a lot of fire whiskey. This is how Effy lives her life, trying to be numb.

Claire's Story: Claire was born screaming and crying. As a toddler she was so happy, babbling and cooing. She grew up while a smile on her face, taking anything with a positive attitude. However, from the start she was always second to her sister. Claire never minded letting Effy do everything first. She would always follow after her with one of her smiles. Claire and Effy used to do everything together. Claire loved having her sister as her best friend. She loved having someone who would always be there. Claire loved her brother as well, but she never understood him the way Effy did. Claire would read a lot, while Effy was off talking or whatever with their brother. When Chris started getting in trouble, Claire lost all understanding of him. She didn't hate him, but she didn't want to be around him. It seemed that he was the cause of all the problems in the house. Claire did blame Chris for their parents arguing. Claire would sit in her room and clasp her pillow over her head so she wouldn't hear them fighting and blaming each other for everything. She wanted it all to stop and they would be a happy family again. When her dad left, she broke down. She cried all the time, blamed her mom, blamed Chris, she didn't understand why he had left. She had closed herself off to the arguments, and while Effy seemed to understand and now fear what had happened, Claire had missed the point. She was young, and wanted her dad.

Hogwarts came and Claire was still shaken by all the family drama. The lack of her mother's presence in the house was as strange as the lack of her fathers. She hated to see her mom depressed. As usual, Claire fell in line and followed Effy's lead. She stuck to her sister and dared not take a step out of line because she didn't want to think about what was really happening. She saw Effy change as well, and it worried her, but she knew that Effy would always be there for her and she knew that she would always be there for Effy. Claire tried being the happy girl she once was, but with Effy's pushing away of everyone it was hard. She tried to make friends but rarely succeeded having the ice queen for a sister. The summers were the worst for Claire. She spent a lot of time alone reading and writing stories. She didn't want to see her mother as helpless as she had become and her brother which was the cause of all the pain. Effy spent time with Chris and did things Claire would never know about. They both returned to Hogwarts, and Effy had changed again. She would disappear at night and keep secrets. Claire was worried, but she never doubted her sister. She would hang out with Effy's friends, but the talkative Claire never seemed to fit in. She remained a shadow of her sister.
