Andie entered Madam Puddifoots with a weary sigh. The Three Broomsticks had been jam-packed that week, and this was the first day she'd had some time off, and she more than gladly took it! Making her way to a seat near the back, she noticed that the tea-shop was fairly empty. This was actually a good thing, it wasn't that she didn't like company, it was just that she had been stressed lately, plus it was that time of month for her, and her fuse was shorter than usual. Slumping down in her chair, she clutched her lower stomach and gave a soft groan. "I hate this time of month." she grumbled.

Dahlia, too, had sought sanctuary inside The Three Broomsticks. After finding it too cluttered with people for her liking, she entered the Tea Shop undeterred. Tapping her black boots at the door, she entered the parlor, glancing around in search of familiar faces. The gesture was quite ridiculous, seeing as she knew no one from school. It was because she was in Slytherin. She should have ended up in Gryffindor by how nice she was, but something about her future was too dark for the noble house. So, stuck in the epitome of prejudices and harsh words, Dahlia had no one to rely on. Not her house mates, not her family.. Not anyone else at school, either. Hopefully someone would turn up. It was a new year, after all.
Expecting to catch a glimpse of Madam Puddifoot, who didn't seem to be present, Dahlia sighed, resting her jacket on her arm and pulling out a chair to take a seat. She was dressed fashionably, with no badges or robes or uniforms to speak of. It was all tucked comfortably in her trunk back at school. No, today she wore black jeans and a short white dress, with some golden jewelry just because.
Hearing someone complain about how they hated this time of month, Dahlia turned, her curiosity spurred. Perhaps curiosity wasn't the right word, seeing as almost everyone hated one month or another. Birthdays, bad memories.. There was always a reason, and always hatred. Wondering what could possibly have her feeling grumpy, she cocked her head to the side, instantly thinking a list. Nodding knowingly at the girl, pretty much able to tell what had her down, Dahlia asked with her eyes if she could sit down. "My month hasn't been the greatest either." She added, "In fact, my whole year sucked."[/color]

Andie looked up to see a girl from the school. Slytherin to be exact. "What's made your year so bad?" she asked, still slightly grumpy.
