Boggart: Spiders, Tyler hates spiders so much…guess it helps with him being a cleaning freak.
Job: Healer
Personality: Tyler Monroe is not a person you want to cross. But that doesn’t mean that he is rude, or hostile. In fact, he is quite the opposite. Being a Healer, he is very compassionate and caring. There is nothing he enjoys more than helping people. Well, except for maybe pulling a prank or two. He loves to have fun and can be very silly. But, he also knows when it is time to get to work, and get serious. He also knows how to separate his personal life, from his professional life. Of course with his boyfriend being the Muggle Studies Apprentice, that’s actually a little harder than normal seeing as they both work in the school. Well, Ash doesn’t really work. He’s just learning what it’s like to be a teacher so he can eventually take over the Muggle Studies post.
Tyler loves Ash and would do anything for him, but has to admit that sometimes dealing with Ash’s many moods can be exhausting. But luckily he knows when to step in and put his foot down and let Ash know that he’s gone too far and he needs to calm down. That’s not to say that they’re always fighting, in fact they rarely fight. They make a good team and they work together to get things done.
Tyler also loves having his ‘me time’ sitting down with a good book, and in the winter in front of a warm fire with a cup of something hot to drink and a plate of cookies or something to snack on. This usually happens in the evening which makes it his favorite part of the day. When the weather starts to get warmer, it’s just the book and the snack, and the hot drink is traded for a cold one. His absolute favorite part of the day though is just before they go to sleep and Ash is curled up next to him and they’re both talking about their days. Sharing stories of what happened and whatnot. To Tyler, nothing can replace the comfort of that time of day.
Appearance: Tall, well-built, curly brown hair, warm, laughing brown eyes. No noticeable scars. Usually dresses pretty casual in jeans and often a button down shirt. Wears a few accessories such as a necklace.

History:
You would be forgiven for thinking that everyone at Hogwarts needed to have some dramatic back story but Tyler had your normal up bringing. His parents met down the local supermarket when Tyler’s Dad, Mark, was working on the tills and this cute young girl was struggling with money. At first he thought she was foreign but after giving her a helping hand he realised they lived just streets away from each other. The two quickly became good friends and one thing turned to another and three years after their first meeting the two got married.
The two were happily married living in Surry when little Tyler James Monroe was born, the 3rd son to join the family. By this time his parents where in steady jobs his Dad was a postman and his mother a healer at St Mungo’s where his passion for helping other came about.
All his older brothers had gone to Hogwarts, one in Ravenclaw and the other in Gryffindor and when his letter arrived Tyler could not wait to get on that train and go to school! Once the sorting hat was placed on his head the old tatty thing soon shouted out Gryffindor!!!
Tyler’s time at Hogwarts was a happy one, he enjoyed learning, he enjoyed the thrills of the castle and he enjoyed all the people who lived there. It was a sad time when Tyler had to leave school but he joined his mother working as an assistant at St Mungo’s as he learnt his craft. However it was when on holiday in France that his life took a different turn, he met someone, his name was Ashton Laurent and the two of them got on like a house on fire. The two started a whirlwind and romance and in an attempt to be closer to Ashton Tyler took the job of Hogwarts Healer.
