The Basics Name: Jordon Kathy Queens Age: 15 Birthday: 15th November House: Hufflepuff Blood: Half-Blood Marital Status: Single Sexuality: Straight Wand: 8 7/8 inches, Phoenix tail feather, but left handed as Jordon is left handed
Features Hair: Medium length, wavy and dark brown. Eyes: Dark brown. Height: 5’3 inches Weight: 7 stone 5 pounds Build: Petite and slim Style: Jordon really looks up to her sister and so tried a lot to be just like her, especially when it comes to what she’s wearing. Her sister always looks smart and fashionable, even before she started making clothing as her career, and Jord tries to do the same, though sometimes its obvious that she’s trying hard. At other times she’s a jeans and a t-shirt kinda gal, preferring comfort to anything else. Her simple, understated taste comes across in her simple and homely dress manner.
Behind The Girl Jordon has always been a quiet, observant girl. She’s watchful for aspects of people’s personalities that she likes and tries to incorporate them into who she is and who she could be. She doesn’t like being quiet but she doesn’t like being the center or attention either; she’d much rather just be comfortable with who she is … whoever that might be. Jordon always gets the feeling that if people see the true her they won’t like her and they’ll stop talking to her, looking at her. Her greatest fear is not being seen. Still, incorporating aspects of people that she likes doesn’t often work, for example, her sister is out going and when she tried it Jord found she got all tongue-tied and couldn’t string three words together. She still tries though, even when it doesn’t work so well. She’s slightly bull-headed that way and she doesn’t even know that detail exactly. This thoughtful, patient girl is honest and hard working – a trait she picked up from her sister. She enjoys being around her sister very much, seeing her smiling and laughing with people she knows fills Jordon with hope that maybe she’ll find the same kind of comfort within herself one day and with who she is. She can be a little awkward at times, especially when it comes to being around boys, but sometimes she gets these rare moments of absurd confidence and she’ll do something crazy like just kissing the boy she likes. Then panic sets in and she’ll run away. She’s a little scared of her emotions, afraid that they’ll run riot with her simply along for the ride. It isn’t uncommon to see Jordon talking to herself, talking herself through situations that caused her high emotional strain. Even of those situations she’s critical and critical of herself, highly so. So it might be a little surprising to hear how naïve she is. Her naivety is sweet but it means that she’s very easily trusting, though her insides may be writhing, and that she’s easily set up for getting hurt. It always seems that whoever she gets truly close to that isn’t her family ends up taking advantage of her. It’s not something that she looks for but it just seems to happen. So her emotions are something that she doesn’t really understand and that she does worry about.
In The Past John and Dawn Queens had their first child, Jennifer Queens, and thought that would be that but unexpectedly 11 years after Jennifer’s birth Dawn found out that she was pregnant again. Jordon Kathy Queens was the bundle that came a month before she was due, small and fragile. Jord never truly filled out from there, always remaining small of stature and quiet. Her sister was never around much while Jordon was a child but she still looked up to her sister more then any one else she knew. It was always important for her to spend some time with Jennifer and she always loved the time that they did spend together. John and Dawn were easier on Jordon then they were on her sister, letting her get away with some things that they’d never have let Jennifer get away with. Jordon never took advantage of it though, she wouldn’t have known if she did anyway. Ignorant of what she had, Jordon grew up in a safe secure environment where she didn’t have cause to worry about things and she grew up naive, believing that everyone was good. This was something she never grew out of but it got her hurt a few times. So, even though she was raised in this supposedly “safe” environment she ended up worrying about far more then she should have. Though her sister was in France, Jordon stayed in England with her parents, staying in Essex. It wasn’t long before she got her letter from Hogwarts.
