Overall: Alice has a very… unique appearance. She’s fairly pale due to her father’s side of the family and inherited the smaller features from her father as well; the dark brown hair and the darker shade to her eye color. If you never knew her father, you’d think she was a spitting image of her mother. Of course, Tanya has caramel colored hair and her eyes are blue but from facial features alone, you could tell easily that Alice was her mother’s child. She’s pretty tiny when it comes to size but don’t underestimate her, she’s pretty fierce when crossed. Alice has a special talent when it comes to clothes. She’s very good at putting together an outfit and she rarely wears the same thing more than twice.
What She Is
The Sweet Side: Alice has an innocence that is hard for people to deny. She wasn’t one to date around nor was she one to betray others. If she liked a guy that had dated a friend of hers, she usually ignored her feelings for him and put in the back of her mind. Alice likes to befriend people but that doesn’t mean she’s the uber nice girl. She does dislike people and she lets you know it. She’s pretty bubbly and optimistic about things, but then again that is expected, she is Kendal Montgomery’s cousin after all.
The Annoying Side: Clothes. Makeup. Shoes. Accessories. Name it, she has it. She has more than enough. She likes to think that she doesn’t come from a family where she gets everything she wants, but she’s never had to go without anything she ever needed. Of course, you had to add in the fact that Alice was Tanya’s and Charlie’s youngest and only daughter. She has this tendency to think that everyone is her Barbie doll and performs make-overs on anyone she can. She loves throwing parties for people and her brother’s complain that she over does things.
The Fierce Side: Although Alice is a kind and bubbly girl, she’s not one to double cross. She takes loyalty very seriously and when you betray her, you’re pretty much declaring yourself an enemy and you become an instant threat to her family. She’s very protective over the ones she loves and sometimes it can seem a bit possessive but family is family. Even if you don’t get along with some of them, you still can’t bear to live without them.

Why She Is
The Parents: Tanya Montgomery met Charles Haile in the big city of Los Angeles, California. He was American Boy and she was a British Lass. Tanya went against her parents wishes when she traveled to America to go to school for English Literature. They’d rather her study something less… muggle, but despite their opinion, she wanted to live a life she never got to experience. Charles was a college student, Pre-Med and very dedicated to his studies. He never realized that a chance meet with a young, stunning girl was going to change the way he looked at life. Charlie always had it planned that once he graduated college, he’d date around until he found the perfect girl. Tanya was something he never seen before; beautiful, smart, funny and crazy beyond belief. Every date they had, Charlie was the one that ended up hurt somehow. One day it’d be a bruise, the next would contain head trauma and some stitches. Despite the cautions Charlie would take with Tanya, he found himself falling in love with her. He was 20 and she had just turned 19. That was only the beginning of his story.
And Then There Were Three, Followed by Four: Charles and Tanya were married when Charlie turned 22. Their blissful marriage could only get better with the news that Tanya was pregnant. Their first child was on the way. James Michael Haile was born right around noon on a warm August day; strong, healthy and beautiful in every way. Charlie was overjoyed to know he had a son; Tanya, however, didn’t seem to believe their family was finished just yet. She waited until little James was at least a year before her and Charlie would try again, but this was mostly so she was sure she was ready for motherhood a second time. Success! A second addition was on its way. Edward Jeremy Haile, named after Charlie’s father and Tanya’s brother, was born. He was the difficult child. There were some complications with his birth, but only minor. Edward spent only one night away from his mother in his first few days of life and that was only a precaution. Edward was born prematurely, but only by a month. Still, he was small and the doctors feared for him at first but as he grew, they no longer worried. Two sons now. Charlie’s name was sure to prevail but Tanya’s family still wasn’t complete. But Charlie and Tanya decided to wait a while to try again.
A Little Miracle for Tanya: When the youngest boy, Edward, had reached seven years old, Tanya became determined to try again, just one last time for another child. Charlie and Tanya must’ve tried for six months straight before they realized something was wrong. Tanya had developed a tumor on one of her ovaries and the growth was causing problems for her. She went through surgery to get it removed and it ended in success; it was removed without many complications. The doctors were still a little iffy if Tanya would still be able to conceive until three weeks after James’ tenth birthday. They were pregnant again. The birthing process for this one was long and difficult. Tanya’s little miracle had decided to come right on time, but made her entrance into life known to almost everyone in the hospital. Tanya was in pain, no matter what drugs they gave her and this little one was making it so. The first thing you heard once Tanya’s screams had stopped, they were replaced by the loud cries of the newborn baby girl; Alice Renee Haile. Tanya’s family was now complete.
The Good, The Bad, The Never Again: Growing up in a house such as the Haile’s was unbelievable. The boys fought terribly, James always coming out the strongest but Edward was always the fastest. Tanya had her hands full as she tried to control two boys on the verge of teenage years as well as the young beauty entering her terrible two’s. You couldn’t say that Alice was a trouble maker or that she even acted up, she just had a way of getting everything she wanted. James was the tantrum boy; if he didn’t get what he wanted, no one did and he would make sure. Also, if someone got what he wanted instead, whatever it is he wanted was no longer of importance as he smashed it. Edward was the smart one. He could always find the loophole around Charlie’s and Tanya’s reasoning, forcing them to cave in. With Alice, all she had to do was pucker her lips into a small pout, water her eyes just so they were glossy and say one simple word; “please.” No one could resist that face. Alice wasn’t the favorite, nor was she the least. They were all loved equally but for some, it was easier to give things to than the others. Alice also had the ability to make you feel guilty if she didn’t get her way, and it was in that simple look as well. Tanya knew that three kids were enough when they turned out just as special as her. Thankfully Charlie was open to realize that there were such things as witches and wizards. His wife was a fictional writer as it was, he had to keep her muse up in anyway he could. He didn’t actually think that she would be telling the truth.
The Joys of Far Away Schools: As the kids got older, Tanya felt a sudden weight come off her shoulders as her kids went away to School. James had specifically requested he’d go to Durmstrang so Tanya pulled some strings and got him in. It was James’s dream to become an Auror and he was positive that Durmstrang would help him get there and it did. Edward was particularly interested in Hogwarts, he had heard only the stories of Harry Potter from his grandmother and grandfather Montgomery and was determined to learn more. Now, Edward was still living at home, traveling all the time in hopes to find something else about history. When it came time for Alice to go off to school, Tanya was debating Beauxbatons but when she had heard that her niece Kendal would be at Hogwarts, it was where she felt Alice belonged. So there she was.
