[person]alityRyiin Diarmid:
the thinker- she's always well planned out, and thinks everything through before she does something, or allows others to do something. she can be found at times just drifting off in thought, with a look of hard concentration on her face. calculations are often going through her head, as well as an agenda of the things she has to do.
the shy- she's often considered the 'shy girl in the back of the room', for she hardly ever communicates with others. conversations are awkward for her, seeing as she rarely has anything to say to others. her voice is rather quiet, but once she begins to know others, she speaks louder.
the leader- despite her shyness, she tends to take charge of any project put into her hands. anything she believes someone is doing wrong, she'll voice it, and tell them how to really do it. if a puzzling situation were to come across, she's usually the first to take charge and tell people what to do in order to solve it.
the loner- a curse that came with being shy was her inability to make friends. she doesn't necessarily care if she has companions or not, she's more concerned with her work. she'll talk to people, but she hardly lets herself get to know anyone, in fear she might just lose their friendship one day.
the lovable- no matter who the person, or what the situation, she's a big softie. she's usually the first one to walk up to another who is upset and -silently- hug them, reassuring things will be okay. when another is harmed or hurt, she's the one who will listen to the situation and try to help them out.
the pushover- one of her biggest weaknesses: being a pushover. most of the time, she can't just seem to say the word "no!" occasionally she'll find her voice, but for the most part, she's the one finishing up peoples' projects for them, or doing a devious deed.

[back]ground:marguerite Marguerite Johanson was born into a pureblood family in Ireland. She had many, many siblings when she was growing up, which made getting along with people so easy. She was naturally kind-hearted and smart, devoting every second of her time to help solve the problems of others. She met Edan Diarmid during one of her summers off of the Wizarding school she attended. After she had graduated, the two were engaged, and were married a year later.
edan Edan Diarmid lived in small home in Ireland. Like most Irish families, he had many siblings. He was always the shyer kid in the family, getting his work done and that was it. He grew up in a world oblivious to wizardry, having to attend a school miles from his family's farm. He met Marguerite when he had finished school, and was working a job over the summer. The two fell in love, and after she had finished her school, they were engaged. Before they had married, she had told him she was a witch, but he didn't care, as long as the two were going to be married, he was happy.
[after] the marriage:shaun Shaun was the first born in the Diarmid family. He looked much like his father; tall, red hair, and a gangly look. He shared much of his father's shyness, but his mother's kind-hearted soul. His mother was naturally disappionted when her eldest wasn't a wizard, but she loved him either way. Shaun had followed in his father's footsteps in going into a job of truck driving. It wasn't super exciting, but it gave him the chance to see different towns and views of his roads.
sullivan Sullivan was born the second into the family, and a complete combination of both parents. He had his father's tall height, and but his mother's green eyes. Everything was distributed between the two basically, but Sullivan had developed his own personality of the two. Again, he wasn't excepted into a Wizarding school, but nonetheless, his mother still loved him. Soon after he was born, the family moved to England.
corrie Corrie was the final child on the Diarmid family. The disappointment was with her father this time; she was a girl. Her father had wanted all boys, but loved Ryiin and Corrie just the same. She was the one accepted into the Wizarding school like her mother wanted, but showed the more loud and fun-loving side compared to the rest of her siblings. Corrie showed more of her mother's looks than her father's, but there were definite hints of him in there.
[Ry]iin Ashleigh Diarmid:Ryiin was born the third into the family, and was only a disappointment because she wasn't a girl like her father planned. He still loved her of course, but he was one of those fathers who wanted all boys. Nonetheless, they dubbed her a boy name, but gave it a girl touch, much like they did with her younger sister, Corrie. Ryiin and Sullivan were usually the ones who got along better, seeing as they were the middle children in the family. None of the children were too close in age, so it made it a little hard for the four to get along when each showed a different sign of intelligence.
Ryiin picked up on her mother's love for knowledge, but her father's shyness. She looked much like both, some debating she looked more like her father than her mother, and vice versa. She was a definite combination of the two in all ways. When it came to the age, she was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and thrown into the house of Ravenclaw. Ry really didn't make many friends, but she had quite a few acquaintances for being so smart and helping others with works and projects.
At a very young age, she had been wandering around in the family's yard, and came across a 'moving-stick.' She had picked it up, intending to pretend she was going to save a princess like in the stories she had read, but the stick began to slither in her hands. Ryiin ultimately freaked out, and the snake bit her in fear of it's life. The snake wasn't poisonous, but it did leave a good mark in her arm. Ever since then, she had a terrible fear of snakes, and it didn't help seeing the Slytherin symbol everyday.
Ry never showed much interest in having friends, and had very short relationships with people. Most of the time, she was simply there for emotional, or promotional support. She was always the leaning shoulder to cry on, and she was always the one to offer a hug. She rarely spoke to people, but when she did it was words of advice and comfort.
