She loves wearing comfortable clothes when she has some time to herself but other than that, like Nick, she likes to give off a more professional look.

The Personality
Nora is great company because she takes an interest in everything and everyone. Broad-minded and lacking in prejudice, she is fascinated by even the strangest of people. With her optimism and humour, Nora is often the life and soul of the party, while she is in a good mood. She can become quite downhearted, crabby and awkward on occasion, but not usually for long. Nora can be hurtful to others because she can’t resist speaking what she sees as the truth, even if it causes embarrassment. However, Nora does have a tendency to become quiet competitive and manipulative to get her ways. Nora prefers an unconventional lifestyle, preferable one that allows her to travel. She doesn’t like to be cooped up in a cramped environment and needs to meet new people and to explore a variety of ideas during her days work. Money is not a main factor in her life and would Nora would work for nothing if she was truly inspired by the job. Her values are spiritual rather than material. Nora has a deep need to be cuddled and touched and she feels the need to be supported emotionally.

Nora’s story isn’t exactly a fairytale. Her parents never married, in fact, both Nora and her brother, Nick were conceived out of an affair. It’s not a very interesting story but to say the least, Gregory Mitchell was a very smooth talker and got his way with Lana very easily. It was one of those cases where the man was going through a divorce but was in no hurry to rush it along. Three years he had promised his self to Lana and all those three years he was still married to Vivienne Mitchell. Lana had fallen victim to Gregory and despite the pleas and threats from her family, Lana continued to hope for something the man never intended to carry through.

Life with Gregory Mitchell wasn’t exactly the greatest. He was never at Lana’s home for very long and spent very little time with his daughter, Nora. When Lana fell pregnant a second time, Gregory had swore to be around a little more but of course, Greg’s word was pointless and Lana was beginning to lose faith. When it was time to give birth, there were a few complications with the baby and Lana was forced to have a cesarean birth. Five hours was spent in the operation room and Nicolas Gregory Braye was born. Nick was ready to leave the hospital two days after his birth, Lana however had to stay a little longer. She had developed an infection where they had to cut open and it was spreading to a few of her major organs. Within a week, Lana was dead. It wasn’t the greatest way to die but when its your time, its not like you can exactly stop it.

Lana had left Nora and Nick in the care of her parents and a good thing at that. Once Gregory had learned of Lana’s death, he refused to see his children and went back to his wife once more. From then on, the kids only received cards on major holidays and most of the time, the cards came late. Like their mother, Nick and Nora attended Hogwarts; School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven. Nora had been sorted into Gryffindor and Nick into Hufflepuff. When Nora left school, she had gone on to do what her mother was afraid to do. Nora travelled around the world to learn more about the magical world. She had written books about her travels, though none of them had gotten further than a homemade binder and placed on her own bookshelf. Nora became an avid reader, buying old books everywhere she went until her own collection of books had gotten too large for her to manage.

Deciding she needed to settle down a bit more after five years of travelling, Nora has returned to Hogwarts and has applied for the librarian’s position. Now Nora can share her love of books with the young students of Hogwarts as well as share her own personal travels and experiences.
