She isn't scared of her own pain, she views it as just part of the game, a test. She has a sick and demented mind.
Deceitful; Stella loves her little games. She plays with people's minds, testing their fears and doubts. She leads them on and then strikes like a true snake. She loves to lie and cheat to come out on top. Remember its all a game, a game she must and will win.
Dependant; In the end, Stella needs someone to tell her want to do, an example, or even just an ego booster. SHe can't go on without some sort of reassurance that she is doing good, or she needs someone to help make big decisions, or she gets carried away. She needs stability in her unstable world. Brother; Massimo Hewitt Harper [born March 6th, 2072 - died October 14th, 2101]. Brother; Emmery Salvatore Harper [born September 17th, 2081; age 23]. Sister; Giovanna Ether Harper [born June 23rd, 2089; age 15]. Other Relations; Avaleigh Thorne [cousin]
Childhood; A big family, thats what Regina Harper always wanted. By the first child, Massimo Hewitt , Augustine was done. However, much to his dismay, Stellaluna Anabelle came along, January 19th, 2076, not five years later. Two more children would be added until Augustine was done. However, Stella was always that first disappointment, that first unwanted child; she would always be blamed.
The Harper Family name came from prominent British purebloods, linked to the even older Avery family. The name was linked to a lot of money, but when Augustine's father died, the money was not passed to Augustine, but to his elder sister, Adelle (Harper) Thorne. The Harper family lived a normal and quite average life, if not on the clipping coupons side of the tracks. Regina worked as a secretary in the minister's off, a Slytherin graduate, she always had an intuitive ear for gossip and things like that that made her well suited for the office life. Augustine owned his own bookshop, located in scenic Knockturn Alley. A Ravenclaw graduate, Augustine was smart and argumentative. He always put a lot of pressure on his children to do well in school, for it was the only way they would ever succeed.
Days of Hogwarts; Pleasing their father came easy to Stella's elder brother, Massimo. He was sorted into Ravenclaw, starting school when Stella was just seven. However, for Stella, sorted into Slytherin when she finally was able to join her brother at Hogwarts in the year 2087, she never found it simple to achieve any kind of academic achievement or greatness. By her forth year, this was clear. At home, it was obviously that young Emmery and younger Giovanna would also follow the same path to greatness their father had laid out for them. For Stella, she was by no means dumb or slow, it was just school work, book work, memorization, didn't fly with her.
Stella ended up finding an outlet for all her father's disappointment, all her own frustration with herself. This outlet was using others students as models of her own pain. The now fifth year found herself as part of a little terror group formed inside of the Green and Silver house. They boasted of being the best, the strongest, the purest, even though Stella herself was only 3/4 pure, she never let anyone know. Stella fell easily into the crowd, and her grades fell just as easily. But, the Slytherin didn't even care anymore.
Her father had always put the pressure on the hardest for Stella. She was his disappointment that just kept going. He couldn't find himself to respect her at all. He called her a failure, she would never amount to anything half as good as her brother. This Stella returned to every summer and every school break, until one time, it was just too much.
Runaway; Seventh year crept up behind Stellaluna. Nothing changed much, who would expect it too. Stella took her NEWTs and returned home, waiting for the results, barely enduring the lectures of how good Emmery was doing in school and how Massimo was moving up in the ministry. However, as time went on, not one owl came for Stella. It became clear that she had not passed. A war erupted in the house. Stella's father yelled at his good for nothing daughter about how she ruined her life, his dreams, and what the hell was she going to do now?! Her mother said nothing, and just left for work. Stella couldn't take it. Years of rising tension and hurt and pain, Stella had become completely cold to the world and completely compulsive to her feelings. Without a thought in her head, in the heat of the moment, Stella raised her wand and blew away her father, literally. She watched his body hit the ground, and she walked away.
Moving; Stella didn't feel any remorse. She felt no guilt. She felt a sense of freedom, of happiness that she had never felt before. She could smile about it, and laugh at the wicked deed. It was sick, but it was Stella. Stella knew that what she had done was considered wrong by the ministry, and so she wasn't surprised when she heard of her warrant for arrest. She decided to get away from it all. She left to far away lands at the age of 18.
Stella traveled all over, never staying to much longer than a year or two in one place. For seven years she ran to places like Egypt, Lithuania, Yemen, Madagascar and Peru. Anywhere random. During her travels, and after some close calls with the ministry in Lithuania, Stella got the idea to become an animagus. It took her five years to master the art, learning the skill in mostly Yemen and Madagascar. Finally it came together. She registered as an animagus in Madagascar under her younger sisters name, Giovanna Harper. Her animal counter part was a scorpion, grey body, bright orange tail, black stinger. It was certainly fierce, and Stella was very proud of herself.
The Return; After seven years of running, Stellaluna Harper found herself standing in front of her family's home. The front lawn looked and the house empty. It was the middle of the night when Stella finally got the nerve to go inside. The house looked the same, but it felt different. Ensnaring, confining. Stella turned to leave, but someone was there. She looked into the face of her elder brother, Massimo. His wand was raised, ready to make Stella pay for what she had done to their father. They fought. Yes, Massimo was always Daddy's favorite. He was just like him in every way. Stella's eyes became wild, her tongue ran. The fight became serious. It was over. Massimo's dead body, a strange reminded of what happened seven years before, lay in a heap on the same living room floor. Stella smiled wildly as she bent down to look at her brother's dead eyes. Yes, the stupid, no good, useless sister has out done the prodigal son.
Stella rose and turned, hearing footsteps behind her. Giovanna stood in the doorway, watching her sister. She had been only five when Stella first killed and ran. Now she was twelve, a young woman. Her face made Stella stop, she looked just like her. The sisters had a moment, but a light and a yell from her mother down the hall made Stella snap and instantly change from her human form to her scorpion form. Giovanna was spared for what she saw, an act of mercy from a merciless being.
A Call; Again Stella went on the run, brining her to Cambodia and then she settled in the underground of the Italian streets. Still on the run, Stella is wanted for not one, but two murders. However, in the summer of 2104, something called Stella, someone haunted her, forcing her back to the school she once caused home. Stella returned to Hogwarts, hiding in the woods, waiting to cause the terror she so freely used to hand out in the halls of Hogwarts.
