Clothing & Make-up; Emmie has a sense that she was lost in time. She wears mostly vintage clothing, rarely pants. She enjoys laces and silks and softer, more elegant fabrics like satin. Her make-up is always done. It is usually darker eyes and a bright lip, or a soft, natural look.

Bright & Bubbly; Emeline is a morning person. She wakes up, has a bit of tea, and she is good to go for the day. She rarely finds herself in a bad mood, and if she is, she hides it very well. Patient & Fair; Emmie is very patient. She prefers to take things slow and do them correctly. She loves to read long books. She isn’t quick to anger, but she does get mad sometimes. When she does, she stays mad for a while. You just have to give her time to get over it. Emmie is very fair. Like I said before, she tries to see the good in all people. This includes her understanding why people do certain things. She gives out fair punishment and tries not to be too harsh, but she wants you to understand, that you bring it on yourself so don’t complain. Emmie hates when people complain when she is being fair and they only get what they deserve.

Elegant & Witty; Emeline has a very smooth, very elegant personality. It might be her French heritage or the fact that she is just a good person. Emmie seems to float on air. She has that angelic sense about her. She is hardly angelic, but she is able to personify to her students that she is. She is smart. She knows what people want to hear. She is able to give it to them. She is a quick thinker, and brave in the face of others. She is patient, but she is also stubborn. She rarely gives up on something that she believes or something that she wants.

Vicious & Vengeful; A side to Emeline that she has sufficiently repressed is an anger, an anger that can build up inside of her. Due to her family history, Emmie has suffered some mental trauma, and has a bit of hate left in her bones. When the right buttons are pushed, Emmie can be mean, plain mean, vicious even. She will remember what you did or said and she will not let you forget it. She sees vengeance as the only solution. However, these feelings don’t come out everywhere, like they used to. They are repressed and Emeline has been able to move on from the hate she once felt.

Life Story; Born on a rainy day in August, Emeline Marie Roux was the third child and only girl given to Maurice and Estelle Roux. Estelle was immediately happy about having her only girl, something she had wanted since her first boy, Lawrence, was born. The only person happier than Estelle was Maurice. He loved the little girl and her curly dark hair and blue eyes. He used to pick her up and kiss her all over her face as she giggled. A spark came to his eye every time he saw her. By the age of five, Emmie was daddy’s little girl. Estelle came to feel ignored by her husband. The boys didn’t really care, they didn’t see the female side of it. Estelle saw Maurice give Emmie gifts, kisses, love; something that had died out in their marriage long ago. Estelle came to hate the little girl that she once loved.

By the time she was ten, Emeline came to realize that her mother wasn’t her biggest fan. However, she had her father, whom she could tell anything. Emmie learned her patience and her quick tongue from her father. He was also an optimist and though he saw his marriage failing, he refused to acknowledge it. At eleven, like every other little French witch, Emeline was sent to Beauxbatons. There she stayed for four years, coming home to her Father every summer and holiday. However, in her fifth year, Emmie got the news that her Father has passed away. Apparently he had been sick. Emmie never knew it. Emmie returned home for the summer to her mother. Still bitter and cold to her daughter, Estelle treated Emmie like Cinderella. She called her names and told Emmie that she drove her father sick. Emmie would sit and cry. Her brothers were gone and out of the house by then, they didn’t know what went on, and Emmie never told them.

Emmie returned to school, two more years and she would be gone. That was the idea that kept her going. She would be out of the way of her mother’s words and hate soon. Emeline hated her mother, and in someway the things her mother said to her stayed with her. Emmie pushed them deep inside and got over them. She maintained a happy appearance to all her friends and teachers. Finally the day came. She graduated with honors at Beauxbatons and started planning a way to get away from her mother. Emmie packed and left for England.

At seventeen, the young French woman struggled to learn English. Her accent never really was lost. She got a job at a small wizarding bookstore where she was able to perfect her English. her teacher was the owner. An old man that soon found his way into Emmie's heart. After living without a father for so long, it wasn't a surprise that Emeline latched herself to the old man. She called him Poppa, become a sort of granddaughter to the old man who had no family of his own. Soon, Emeline was able to read English and books became her salvation. Emeline found her love for history, pushed by Poppa, who knew almost everything there was to know about history. The rebellions, the witch trials, the start of the wizengamot, Emmie was interested. She became very happy with her life; A life without her mother, but in the loving arms of her psuedo-grandfather. Years past and Emmie found that she was bored sitting in a book shop everyday, but she stayed for Poppa. However, the time came for Poppa to leave her. Emmie was aware that nothing lasted for ever. Poppa left Emmie a surprise though. His diary, which until recently Emmie had no clue what it was. She read in the papers that the History of Magic professor at Hogwarts was switching her subject. Emeline immediately wrote to the Headmaster, and got an interview. After a few weeks of run around, Emmie got the job and accepted; another life to start, the diary of Poppa going along with her, to help her.
