She is shy, not wanting to ever be the center of attention, and is actually afraid of speaking in large crowds. She has a soft speaking voice, and gets embarrassed quite easily. She doesn’t like to feel that people are looking at her.
Sweet as a Sparrow | Coralie is a kind soul. She doesn’t want to bother anyone, and she would love to help anyone who asks her. She, herself, doesn’t mind to be bothered with other people’s problems. She is a great listener, though she rarely has advice to give back. Though it helps some people to just talk out their problems and Cora is there for them. Cora loves animals. She loves that she can talk to them and they will never tell anyone her secrets. She feels like they don’t judge her, and when they look at her, they aren’t sizing her up. Animals are her best friends, and the person that knows her the best is her cat, Pagliaccio, or Chio for short.
Insecure as an Insect | Coralie is always afraid that people are looking at her over and over again and judging her. She is afraid that no one wants to be her friend, and sikes herself out. She is very introverted and doesn’t talk to many people. She will rarely initiate the conversation, and would rather be a wallflower then the life of the party. Not many people know how sweet and kind she is, and those that do, don’t always appreciate it enough.
Clever as a Cat | When you don't socialize very much, what do you do. you read, and study. This makes Cora very smart. She is a quick thinker and has a bright imagination. She keeps a sketch pad in which she draws everything she sees. She is very observant. She loves to watch people, though she hates people watching her. In school she excels in class, usually knowing the answers, though never raising her hand or speaking unless called upon. She loves to read, not always school books, but she has a love for romance novels, a little secret she hides in her mattress.
Artistic as an Antelope | Cora finds one thing in which she can be proud and speak up. It is in her art. All the words she doesn't say are all there in her drawings a paintings. It is something that she knows she doesn't have to be shy about. It is her one security in her mound of insecurities.
Father | Stanton Perry Davis. [born September 8th, 2050; age 54]. Mother | Golda Anne (Ray) Davis. [born February 6, 2054; age 50]. Brother | Walsh James Davis [born April 3rd, 2077; age 27] Sister | Morna Alyson Davis [born August 1st, 2070; age 20].
The Hatching |The Davis family was always known to be sweet and happy people. They were well liked in there quiet home in the British countryside. The neighborhood they lived in was one of those where everyone knows your name and your business, so when the newly-weds first moved to the village, everyone was thrilled to find Golda pregnant so fast. A little boy, the prince to start with, Walsh James was brought into the world. He was the perfect little gentlemen, sweet, caring, cavalier. Cora would later say that if he had been a wizard he would have made it to the top of the Gryffindor house. However, the Davis' first child was not magical. Nor was their second, Morna Alyson. Morna was born on a hot day in the beginning of August. Like the rest of the Davis family, she was kind nature, but she was a little scatter brained. She was the artsy one, always getting into trouble and disagree in with her parents, though she had a gift to talk her way out of anything. Cora called her sister the perfect Hufflepuff, though her elder sibling had no idea what she meant. Then along came Cora Dallon. She was quiet, shy, the true youngest child, shadowed by her siblings. She never wanted to compete with them, but in Cora's mind, she always would. Cora was kind and sweet, though not many people knew this because of her introverted personality. She was known as the strange Davis in town.
Stretching Her Wings | As is normal in muggle culture, Cora went to school to learn her ABC's and numbers. She was quiet, though very smart. Teachers were impressed with her knowledge, yet were worried about her apparent social anxiety. However, Cora never showed any signs of being sad in her quiet ways. She was perfectly happy and a sweetheart and kind if you took the time to find her in all her shyness.
Years passed and Cora found that she could make things happen. She was able to hide herself very well in plain sight, almost as if a sheet of glass separated her from others. She was quiet and never mentioned anything to her parents or siblings.
At the age of eleven, her family got a major surprise hearing the news that Cora was special after all. Cora was a witch. Cora couldn't want anything less. She didn't want to be different, she didn't want to stand out. However, her families curiosity and Cora's lack of actually arguing, put her on a train to Hogwarts. Like everything else, Cora didn't want to bother anyone, and so she went along with whatever her family and other people wanted to do.
Hiding from the Rain | And so the quiet mouse came out from her hiding spot, though she was forced out. She still remained to be quiet and shy, not trying to make friends, not wanting to burden anyone. Cora studied hard, and her Professor's felt that same way as her muggle teachers. They loved her work, but wished she would speak up in class, or find some friends. being alone and in a new world was hard for Cora. It took her twice as long to learn about her new world without any of the usual wizard born friends to help her along her way. It took years for Cora to finally find some acquaintances, though calling them friends would be pushing it. Now in her fifth year, the shy little mouse continues on her way scurrying from class to class hiding from the cats and the mousetraps she knows are out there.
