Christi leaned against the counter, aimlessly twirling a lock of hair around her finger. Today was a slow day -surprisingly- and only a few kids seemed to be around. Huh, maybe Felicity would show up today. She hadn't told her daughter about her new job yet. Wouldn't she just be so happy to see her mother so near school? A grin spread across her face as she pictured her daughter's glee.
The veela grabbed a chair and sat behind the counter. She put her elbows on the counter and plopped her chin on her palm. Sigh, so boring. Nothing to do. Why wasn't it busier today? Kids love candy right?
Rissy had just gotten the job recently, since she had been fired from her last waitressing job. She still had yet to tell Fay. Huh, maybe she could meet someone else here. Christi looked out the window, scouring the streets. She dumped her last boyfriend. He was getting too clingy.

Felicity was pretty much dragging Bray through Hogsmeade. She felt slightly bad for eating the rest of his chocolate --which was delicious-- so she decided to go buy him a new bar. But, she didn't know what kind he liked, so she had to tow him along.
"Oh stop whining and just come on Bray. It's chocolate. Free chocolate for you. What's not to like?" Fay rounded another corner, and saw Honeydukes nearing. "Almost theeerreee."
Felicity's walk slowed though whens he felt the familiar tingle at the base of her neck. Her eyes widened slightly, but she just shook her head. Must be imagining' things again. Fay pushed Bray into Honeydukes with a smile back on her face. "So do you want-" She cut off, noticing a familiar bob of blond hair behind the counter.
Fay's jaw almost dropped open when her mother jumped up upon seeing her enter. She narrowed her eyes slightly at her mother, and grabbed Bray's arm again. "Bray, you need to get out of here. Right now." Her mother, stupid as ever, had her charm on again. Did she ever leave it off for a moment? Felicity's palm tingled and she had the extreme urge to punch someone.

Bradyn had been dragged out to Hogsmeade against his will just to get some chocolate. When any boy around the age of 6 would be ecstatic, he was just irritated. "You don't need to do this, it was a gift." He groaned but still let her pull him along. He sighed when he wondered if any circulation was getting to the rest of his arm, and looked a little relieved that this was almost over. "Thank god.. I mean, yay?"
As soon as he was in the shop, he stopped to take in a big whiff of the smell of candy.. which seemed to smell sweeter than usual. 'I guess I haven't been here in ages.' Bray was suddenly happy now that he was actually with the candy. "What?" He stared at Fay like she was crazy, "C'mon, no one's here. What're you talking about..?" Bradyn frowned at her, she was never this serious about stuff; why here of all places would she go crazy?

Christi heard some kids enter, but she wasn't really paying attention. But, once she heard Fay's voice, she jumped up out of her chair. "Felicity!" Her mother sang and she skipped over to hug her daughter. "I got a job at Honeydukes so I can see you more! Aren't you so happy?" Felicity looked anything but; Rissy didn't really notice though. Her attention suddenly was drawn to Bray.
"Ooo, who's this?" Rissy beant down lower so she could examine his face. "He's cute. But kinda short. He your boyfriend Felicity?" Her lower lip jutted out in a pout. "You never told me. What kind of daughter are you to not tell you loving mother when you get a boyfriend. I'm offended."

Felicity twitched as her mother hugged her, and writhed out of her grasp. "Excuse me while I find a jar to bottle my joy." Her voice was heavy with sarcasm as she tried to not hex her mother right then and there.
Fay looked back over to Bray who, for the moment, seemed uneffected by her mother. Well, that was good at least. She didn't want to have to drag Bray out of the store. Without hurting him or knocking him out at least.
With a sigh Felicity grabbed Bray's arm. "Come on, we came to get chocolate. Let's get it and go." Before I kill someone. She silently added as she steered Bray toward the chocoalte.

Bradyn blinked to try and clear the confusion from his head. This random happy lady was Fay's mom? They didn't seem alike at all, surely they were just pulling his leg. 'If this is why she dragged me here, I'll kick her later.' He thought and tried not to twitch when she was right up in his face and ranting about him being Fay's cute little boyfriend. On normal circumstances, he would've cussed at the lady but for some reason all he said was a flirtatious, "Not as cute as you."
Bray stood there confused for a moment, why didn't that come out as a swear, or an insult to make her backoff? He had no idea but he didn't like being stared at like a piece of meat and instead he focussed on Fay. "Yeah.. chocolate.." Were his barely coherent mumbles as he was dragged away by Fay again. What the hell, why did she drag me here?

Felicity just about socked her mom in the face. Her eye twitched as she pushed Bray over to the chocolate. Her mother went back behind the counter, smiling happily. "Stupid. Freaking. Airhead." Felicity was muttering curses under her breath.
"Sorry about this Bray. Did know she would be here." Fay's palm was pressed against her forehead. "What is she thinking?" She looked back over to Bray. "You have the right to hate me forever you know." Christi watched the two from behind the counter. Fay felt like just hexing her face so she could wipe the stupid look off it. "And yes, she is my mother. No, I don't like her. And thank god I don't look like her." Felicity's nerves were on the last string as she waited for Bray to pick a chocolate.

Once he reached the chocolates, the smell of chocolate and being away from that woman seemed to clear his foggy head and his confusion. "What the hell?" He grumbled, finally able to get out the words that he actually wanted to say. 'Crazy woman of the devil' and other more vile curses were running through his head, and he was glad that Bry wasn't with him. This probably wouldn't have happened if he didn't come in with Fay.. or would it? He didn't really know, but still it was hard to do anything but glare at Fay.
Bray's gaze softened into a smile. "I would, but then I'd lose my best friend." He quickly turned to the chocolate before he said his next statement, used to getting assaulted for insulting people close to his friends, even though they were just complaining about them. "Plus, it's your mum who's a twat, not you." Quickly scanning over the selection, he tried to force any thoughts of that woman contaminating the candy, and quickly spotted his favorite kind. Picking up a couple of bars, Bray turned back to Fay. "You don't mind if I pay, do you? I don't want to be caught not being a gentleman in front of your mum, you can pay me when we get out of here if it still bothers you."

Quilla wandered into Honeydukes, hoping to find something for her father. Ah, how she loved the smell of the shop. She would spend a lot of time in here with her friends...if she had friends to spend time with. But the matter of not being popular did not affect Quills, so she moved on. A shiny box of chocolates caught the girl's eye, and she quickly skipped over there.
"Now...what kind does he like? Heart-shaped, flower-shaped, dragon-shaped...no, definitely not the broom-shaped. That would not do at all." Quilla quietly murmured to herself, taking no notice of the others in the shop. Sliding down the row, the girl bumped into another classmate. "Oh! So sorry, didn't see you there. Who are you again?" Quill's brow rose up in an almost comical puzzled look. She did like the girl's hair; so black and pretty.

"Being a gentleman...to my mother. My god what has she done to you?" Felicity laughed and shook her head. "Naw, I'll pay you back once we get outta here." She slid a glance over to her mother, who was still grinning stupidly. Ug, so annoying.
Someone bumped into Fay and sent her sprawling onto the floor. She blinked, confused for a moment. Fay looked up at the girl. Quilla Royce right? Yea, she'd seen the girl before. "I'm Felicity Locke." Felicity jumped up and blew some hair out of her eyes.

[you told me to post, ally. so I did. just not where you wanted me to. xD]
Bradyn laughed, smiling at Fay. "What, I'm not aloud to be a gentleman? Or am I too much of a girl that you expect some guy to waltz in and pay for me, 'cause I'm just such a pansy." He rolled his eyes, trying to act insulted as he walked over to Fay's mom. Bray was extra careful this time, knowing what she was and that she obviously had no morals.
'It's not like she'd bother me anyway, she thinks I'm Fay's boyfriend. and I didn't see her saying otherwise..' He thought bitterly, but decided to let it go rather than confronting Fay on it. Hearing a crash behind him, he quickly turned on his heel to look back at Locke. Bray raised an eyebrow seeing her on the ground, and figured she just tripped or maybe she fell over just because. Either way, it was a normal sight to him so he quickly payed for the chocolate before heading back over to them, finally noticing the Gryffindor girl. "Oh, hi.." He said, smiling at her. "I'm Bradyn Reed," Bradyn introduced himself out of instinct, since he didn't really remember the girl even if she looked familiar.
