Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows The name of Harry Potter's seventh saga, the world's most anticipated children's book and the finale to J.K. Rowling's phenomenally popular fantasy series, has been announced.
Rowling's U.S. publisher, Scholastic Inc., released a brief statement Thursday announcing that the seventh book of Harry Potter's adventures will be named "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." No publication date or other details were offered.
J.K. Rowling is still working on the book, she explained on her Web site in an entry posted early Thursday.
"I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more," she wrote.
"I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry, I will.)"
Rowling recently hinted that two of the main characters may not make it to the end of the book. However, she refused to rule out the possibility that Harry Potter himself could finally fall foul of his old enemy Voldemort.

Its exciting, very exciting.
Well I first read it.. I thought it said gallows.. so I then went on to a thinking-rant of 'What?? whos going to be hanged?!'
..But then I gained the ability to read again and now I'm thinking its all about meeting the dead. Hallows - as in All Hallows? - spirits? Deathly spirits? Dead people? Tra la la.. meh I don't know.
But one thing is for sure - can't wait!!

Hmmm do you think by 'Hallows' she means a place... or people?
Place is pretty obvious, but it'd be cool if it was like some crazy gang or family or something.

I think it will be interesting as Heck it is the last book but whether or not it has the same ring to it as some of the others I'm not sure. (However saying that it does seem rather creepy)

It does seem way darker. I don't really like it myself.

I don't think I can go through the 'who dies' arguments again... I've been in so many! They leave me an emotional wreck.

I actually hope she never finishes the book, and like, on page like, 153 or something it just stops in the middle of a sentence. "Then, Harry realized that what he was looking at was a giant-" and then just blank for 200 more pages. I would laugh so freaking hard.

Yeah I always thought a Weasley would die but there are soooo many to pick! But i did read on her site that it is major characters that will die not some random people who dance around in the background.
Ok so those were not her exact words but still.....

I must say I like the title, thought not as much as I liked other ones. This title isn't really something, since we already know what's the word about. If you would think more sharply, then you would probably realize that it is related to Horcruxes. There were some more titles provided from Jo and one of them was called 'Revenge of Dumbledore'.That really is something, guys.Anyway, the book itself is more intrigating and interesting that the title and it isn't much important as the content of the book, right?
Anyway,I think Harry won't die.Voldemort will die,no doubt in that.I am sure Ron will die or maybe Hagrid..I don't know why exactly...
