I really disliked how they did the opening...it was really rushed and badly done. Once they got to Hogwarts it was awesome though...Imelda Staunton was absolutely phenomenal and exactly how I pictured Umbridge.
Didn't enjoy Sirius death...I don't know why...they definitly stamped out any rumors of him coming back...but...I cried more when he said that him and Harry would be a real family.

I really disliked how they did the opening...it was really rushed and badly done. I really liked the opening, i thought they got us right into the action, no hesitation, no second thoughts. Imelda Staunton was absolutely phenomenal and exactly how I pictured Umbridge. And she was phenomenal! I hated her just as much as I did in the book and enjoyed seeing her arse get kicked just as much as well! hehe Didn't enjoy Sirius death... Of course you did! He died for crying in a bucket! You weren't supposed to like it! hehe! But in all seriousness, it was very abrupt, anticlimactical my mother called it, there wasn't really time to take it in that he had died they definitely stamped out any rumours of him coming back and I have it from Rowling's own mouth that Sirius and Dumbledore are not going to do Gandalf's. I cried more when he said that him and Harry would be a real family Thank you! So did I! My brother kept going on about how weird i am for crying at that point! But on the whole, I LOVED it! I thought it was soo well done, I didn't even miss the brains! hehe! well, not much! But poor Neville!! I always feel so sorry for him! Me and my mom cheered when he got Expelliarmus right! hehe! We were so proud! & how cool was Belletrix! Helena did a fantastic job or making her crazy and hateable and all around evil. Fantastic job! At frist, when I saw promos and shot from the movie I didn't like Tonks but she was really cool too! Love her! I particularly liked the dream sequences, I thought they were very well done too! hehe! & now I'm reading the book ... again coz now I have the movie in my head and it'll just make it sooo much cooler! hehe! well, that's what I think at any rate! And now I'm going to stop! I could go on and on and on but I won't!

I didn't cry when Siris died...well because I knew it would happen, but Bellatrix's spell was just sooo random. I was like oh..he died already. ok then...sure. and I accepted it.
When he did die...Lupin held Harry back and it was soo Aragon hold Frodo back when Gandalf died. Just an observation.
I Love the Ministry, especially the offices with like windows like a little city. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't show more rooms in the dept. of mysteries. I was looking forward to Ron's face getting sucked off by a squid brain thing.
I thought Bellatrix was AMAZING! And no I kinda want to be her.
I want to have Ralph Fienne's children. Ok, Voldemort and his spiffy little suits were amazing.
I wanted more Draco honestly, but I'm glad Mr. Malfoy was in it again. He made me smile.
Did anyone else make a HUGE "That's what she said" joke when Ron and Hermione asked how the kiss was and Harry said "wet."
I cried really really hard when harry was fighting Voldie out of his body and the flash backs and i really thought Dan was amazing in that part. The flashback were cool too. I was totally fine with them cutting out St. Mungo's cause they covered it well.
ok i'll shut up now. It was amazing. the end.

1.Ok, Sirius's death was pure crap. You had like 2 seconds to take it in and then it went immediately to something else.
2.I also was hoping for the Weasly is Our King bit, but Quidditch wasn't involved whatsoever.
3.Where's Winky!?
4.Dobby was non-existant too.
5.No mention of Regulus. Don't mind me, I have an obsession with him for some reason.
6.Did anyone else notice that the train scene was non-existant? They were at the train station, then suddenly at Hogwarts.
I thought it was good overall. I'd give it 8/10

When he did die...Lupin held Harry back and it was soo Aragon hold Frodo back when Gandalf died. Just an observation. awww! dude! it totally was!! I never thought about it like that! And I'm glad that they didn't put Regulus in, it would have complicated matters waaaaaaay too much! And Dan did do the fighting Voldie out of his body really well. I have a friend that keeps saying every time she sees or hears or think about him that he can't act to save his life. This I can totally rub in her face and say, "HA! See? He can act!!" hehe!

it was great there some points i was mad that they where taken out. They took Fred and Gorges best line from the book. "We always drew a line between jokes in cacaos but now that line is gone." also "Give her hell peves." ( i kno i spelt his name wrong sry) This was thier time the made the finally good but it could have been better.

But you need to look at the movie as a whole. What purpose would putting those lines into the movie serve to getting Harry and the rest to the Ministry? It wouldn't, which is why I support them wholeheartedly for not putting it in. Sure it would have been a nod to all those die hard fans but it wasn't vital to the story. (just my opinion!)

Personally I really enjoyed the film! I was grinning the whole way through, laughing every five seconds and continually pointing out all the little bits I recognised from the books, something which I didn't really find with the last couple of films!
Umbridge wasn't as sickly sweet as I envisioned her, and nor were the depths of her cruelty that well explored... but she was still ace I think! I absolutely adored the scene where she's questioning Snape about his failure to become DADA teacher, and he's just like "Yes" really dryly, so funny! And Luna and Cho? PERFECTO! God, they were even more adorable in the film than in my head!
Ginny? She had one stinking line. ONE. I can't believe it took her thirty takes and she still sounded like an idiot! I think possibly my favourite line in the whole film was Kingsley's. "Dumbledores got style!"
I thought Dan Rad performed Harry's possession VERY well. In the books it was so brief and uneventful, but how they did it in the film was incredibly moving! It seemed intimate in a tragic way...
But... my favourite addition - to what was already a marvelous movie - has got to be...
I have no trouble in admitting i am totally IN LOVE WITH HER! The actress was perfect, her look was amazing, and she got her persona just right! She was SO CUTE!

the only problem I had with Tonks was that her hair was like purple not bubblegum pink!

When she first appears she's described as having hair a "violent shade of violet". And I always imagined short and spikey bubblegum pink hair to be quite ugly so I really like her the way she looks in the film.

The babe who plays Tonks, it took me forever and the second watched for me to realise it, also played the agro emo babe in About A Boy with Hugh Grant and that adorable boy who killed the duck with the loaf of bread!! I was jumping up and down and getting really strange looks about that one but i was very impressed with myself.

I liked this movie. Sirius's death was suppose to be quick and out of no where because that's how it happened in the book. I remembered when I read that part in the book, I was a few pages past the death when I read a line about Sirius's death. I was like, "what!" I actually had to go back to re-read that passage to make sure. That was actually my favorite part of the film...I love that shot David Yates had after Harry broke away and started chasing Bellatrix. It was very good.
It got a lot of bad reviews, mostly because those who haven't read the book complained about the movie not explaining a lot of things. It was very rushed, but there was no reason to dwell on certain things. I liked it the best out of all the films.

Personally, I dont think movies should rush right into the action. HP 5 should have eased into it, not just BAM FLY OFF AND HAVE SOMEONE DIE.
As I remember the fight where Sirius dies was in the room that had the brains in jars. Correct me if Im wrong, but they should have at least included the part about Ron going, "Hey look, Harry! Brains! Haha, brains!" And Harry goes, "Ron, dont touch anything." Then Ron goes, "No look Harry! Brains! Accio brains!" And they all fly to him, suck at his face, and he collapses. That was the funniest part of the book, in my eyes. I was blown away when they cut it out.
It was a good movie, yes, but I wouldn't say its the best in the HP series. Dont eat me for saying it.
