(if you come in late just RP as though you were always here)
Jack stood infront of his desk, his pointed pointed directly at the very strong cage which was hung from the ceiling. Inside stood a creature about three feet tall, it's hands gripping the bars of the cage very tightly giving Jack a fearsome look. Why on earth he even thought about bringing something like this into his classroom he would never know. Though, there was every chance that his students may run into one eventually and they had to be ready for this beastie, which in Jack's own mind, this beastie was one of the worst types around. It looked slightly gnomish, although taller, and had a body like a Grindylow -- in the sense it's thin, easily breakable with a thin pointed face -- it looked revolting. Well, unless you were a child it didnt pose much of a threat to you... at least Jack hoped, though he wouldnt be letting it out, that was for sure.
"Dont you look at me like that..." He told the creature who was looking at Jack very hungrily, "Cut it out wouldja you're giving me the creeps." He turned around to see a student already seated, evidentally watching Jack talk to the creature within the cage. "It's staring at me..." He said to the student as though it gave him every reason to act like an idiot.
Once the class was reasonably full, Jack opened his mouth to speak. "This little nasty is called an Erkling. It is a most foul creature by any standard of the mark and also quite dangerous, it is classed as a Level Four Dangerous Creature by the Ministry, although it classes no threat to us adults. Now, can anybody tell me anything about this creature? Or why it is classed as a level four creature when it poses no threat to adults?"
