Outside Looking In
Victoria hasn't exactly found her ground yet. She's the type of girl that tries to follow in everyone's footsteps instead of making her own. Then again, for being only fourteen years old, the young girl hasn't really lived life long enough to find out who she is but the following, we do know about her:
Victoria comes off as shy and reserved when you catch her by herself. Mainly because when she is alone, she's unsure of how to act around others. Unless you talk to her first, she'd probably go right on ignoring you and keep to herself.
When she's with her friends, she's kind of loud and talks a lot. Of course, she may find the topics they're discussing completely irrelevant but she wont argue if its what keeps her friends.
When you actually get the girl talking, you'll find one of her annoying things. Victoria loves to talk with her hands. She's not quite sure why she does it, but apparently its a family thing. According to Victoria, her hands are a way of adding to the seriousness of the conversation.
Tori isn't one that gets angry easily. In fact, even if you did manage to upset her, she wouldn't show it. Her mother often told her that 'to wear your emotions on your sleeve is to show everyone your weaknesses.' She tries to see herself as strong minded, but if that were true, she'd be the leader of the pack instead of the quiet follower.

Not every story starts with "Once Upon a Time" and this one definitely doesn't. Jillian Alexandra Fox was your average American Muggle teenager. She wasn't Class President or Prom Queen but she lived her life the way she wanted. From her point of view, her life was nearly perfect. She was dating a Freshman in College, Tom, and they had been together for nearly 3 years and everything was... once again, perfect for her. Jill had just gotten through graduation and in a few short months, she'd be joining Tom at University of Wisconsin in Madison. Their plans were happening like they wanted. There was, however a tiny flaw. During her first month of college, Jillian found out she was pregnant. Tom, finding it hard to cope with the news, broke up with her and made it perfectly clear to her that he wanted nothing to do with the child. Unable to take the embarassment, Jill left school.
Jillian's father had received a job offer that would take him overseas. With Jill's approval, the duo moved to England where Jillian gave birth eight months later to a beautiful daughter that she named Elizabeth after her mother who had died from Cancer when Jill was only 4. Being a teenage mother was tough but Jillian's father, Bradley, was there for her and helped her out the best he could. With her father's help, Jillian was able to go back to school where she earned a degree in Business and got a job as an Intern for HSBC where she did mostly teller work. It wasn't the best of jobs, but it payed the bills, most of them. She was able to afford her own flat where she moved herself and little Elizabeth when she had turned twenty-one.
Working at HSBC had it perks. One day, she met a fairly handsome man named Marcus who was withdrawing some money. He seemed to take an interest in her and had even asked her out for a meal. With her boss' eyes burning a hole in the back of her head, Jillian accepted quickly and promised to meet him around 7 that night. The date went great, really great and well, you can figure the rest from there for those two. They were married after 2 years together and once the couple, plus Ellie, had settled down completely, they started trying for another child. When Jillian turned 27, she finally fell pregnant. Nine months later, little Victoria Lynn had entered the world.
Growing up for Victoria seemed to be pretty normal for a child. Both her parents were very active in her childhood and her sister was always there to help her out. It always seemed that Elizabeth received more attention so Victoria tried to follow in her footsteps more often, this of course just caused Ellie to think more highly of herself. When little Tori turned six, her mother gave birth to a little boy, James. With the new baby getting all the attention and sixteen year old Ellie demanding attention, little Victoria would often sort to her own things and very quickly resorted to imaginary friends. It wasn't that Victoria didn't have any friends, she was just more comfortable with her 'own' friends where she didn't have to act like the rest of them.
There was something else about Jillian's younger daughter. Something the muggle couldn't explain without someone thinking she was crazy. When Victoria would get angry or upset, things would start to happen. More than a few times, something would fly across the room and shatter. In Jillian's eyes, she thought her daughter was telepathic but Marcus knew exactly what was happening. At first he tried to pass it off by saying that Jillian was too upset with the young girl that she didn't see Tori throw the object but when it started happening more, he had to sit her down and explain to her about his family of witches and wizards.
When Victoria turned Eleven, Marcus' stories turned true for Jillian once the young girl received her Hogwarts Acceptance letter. Marcus promised that Tori would be in good care and that she would have fun and makes friends that were more like her. When Jill heard the last bit, she was ready to let Victoria go. Once at Hogwarts, Victoria wasn't too keen on making friends when she still held onto her imaginary ones. Of course, once she turned eleven, her imaginary friends just became stories in her head that she visited often when she'd space out instead of the six year old Victoria who would swear they were standing right next to her.
Now its Victoria's third year of Hogwarts and she's still finding it hard to make friends that she didn't have to put a mask on for.
