Any other Comments: The new trailer got me in the RP spirit.
Also, it's so hard to write 3 paragraphs at a time for just one area! I hope they're acceptable...
The Character
Name: Madeline Hickory
Nicknames: Not any that she's fond of, but she collected the nickname, "Hicky," by a group of older Slytherins in her first year, and they haven't relented yet.
Age: Fifiteen.
Year: Five.
House: N/A?
Blood: Half-blood, with a predominantly Muggle lineage.
Wand: 9 1/4" Hickory (go figure) with a Claricaun hair core. Smooth to the touch and performs charm-work best.
Pets: A small black kitten with white paws, named Chase, that her parents are unaware she owns. Found near the back alley behind her family's apartment in Muggle London, she took in the stray and brought him to Hogwarts triumphantly.
Patronus: A giraffe. Perhaps due to its heroic appearance in a reoccurring nightmares about a short trip to Africa, where her father now studies Egyptian Curses.
Boggart: Madeline is extremely afraid of quick sand.
Personality: Madeline is very in tune with nature. She does not enjoy being barricaded in the castle and stuffed within dingy classrooms, even though she does find solace in learning. Madelin is often seen finishing a brilliant novel at the lakeside, or taking a quick nap with Chase on one of the Greenhouse swings.
Her sense of adventure is like any normal teenager her age. She somewhat craves it, because the magical world intrigues her. Madeline also adores surrounding herself with friends, and is quick to meet others whom she places her trust and unwavering friendship in.
Academically, she prefers some classes and detests others, but finds an interest in gathering information. She may not be the top of her class, but she is well above bottom.
Creatively, she is not very hands-on, but appreciates beauty on a more visual level. She also owns a radio at home that her mother often yells in anguish about.
Athletically, she enjoys flying and has a good throwing hand, but has never participated in any Muggle or Wizard sports officially.
Appearance: Surprisingly, Madeline was born with light brown eyes, and chocolate coloured hair. Her mother and father, both shockingly blond with oceanic eyes don't understand the phenomenon either.
Taking after her father, Madeline is thin and has a monotonous body shape. Her height hovers around average at 5'4" and her pale skin does not turn a shade darker despite her tendency to stay outside.
Her choice of attire besides her school robes has a fairytale-esque feel to it. Subconsciously, she tries to match the soft hues of spring butterflies.
History: Having earned her wizard credit from a distant grandparent, both Madeline's mother and father are Muggles. Because of this, she lives prominently without magic in her day-to-day life. However, Madeline's parents, like the majority, have fallen out of love. Despite having a clean divorce where they are still amiable to one another, she lives with her mother in a quaint apartment while her father explores Egypt for the better part of the year.
