Andie sighed with relief. After a full hour of non-stop work, the crowd had finally died down, giving her a chance to take a well needed break. Slumping against the counter she covered her mouth and yawned. She was exhausted. She looked exhausted as well. Eying her self in the mirror that hung behind the bar, she assed herself critically. Her once neat ponytail was now a tangled mess, half the curls had fallen out, and now framed her face in loose wavy tendrils, her normally bright emeral eyes, were dull and glassy with exhaustion. She did not look good, not at all! Sighing Andie rested her head upon the cool countertop, using her arms as pillows. Please don't let anyone else come in... she pleaded silently, although she knew it wouldn't do much good. People would come in if they wanted, nothing she could do about it.

Sarie walked in rubbing her hands agiast each other to fight off the fall air. She walked into the Three Broom Sticks. She wanted to have a nice butterbeer before heading back to school. She looked around. Thankfully she had missed the rush. She didn't do very good with big crowds. She when to a table in the far corner of the room.
Then she headed up to the bar to order a butter beer. She saw a young girl a few years older then she was but not by much. "May I order one butter beer please."

Andie bit back a groan as she heard someone ask for a Butterbeer. Lifting her head, she smiled weakly, the smile not quite reaching her slightly blooshot eyes. "Sure, coming right up." she said quietly, her voice hoarse from a nonstop hour of asking people for their orders. Turning away from the girl, she prepared the drink as fast as her body would allow her to, turning back to the girl she handed the drink with a faint smile. "Enjoy." she said quietly, her exhaustion clearly lacing her hoarse voice. Andie sighed and slumped down on the counter once more. Seven more hours to go. Wonderful, just bloody wonderful! she growled sarcastically to herself.

"Sorry could you make that too you look like you might need one." Sarie didn't want to bother her. She bit her lip woundering if the girl was going to crack. She heard the growl she wanted to talk but push any buttons. Sarie could tell she had been hit hard by the rush. She wanted to losen the mood a bit.

Andie raised her head, and gave the girl a smile. "I'm just really tired, that's all." she admitted. "I'm Andie." she said with a smile.

For once a sincere smile filled Andie's face. "Nice to meet you Sarie, I just graduated last term." she said with a shrug. "This is actually my second day working here. It seems to be going pretty well so far."

"Thats right, you where a Ravenclaw. I dont think we had any classes together. I saw you around school but that was about it. So what are you planning to since you left school?" Sarie smiled hoping she wasn't asking too much.

Andie grinned. "Yeah, I was a Claw. I don't really know what I want, I'd love to be a singer, but I don't think that's going to happen. So, I'm trying to see what else there is. What about you?"

Sarie sighed. "Im not really sure. I was thinking about teaching. But I'm really not sure. Lets just say I have a little bit of a upper hand... I don't think it would be fair." She sipped her butterbeer. "A singer that would be cool. Good luck."

Andie nodded. "Teaching's cool." She crinkled her brow in confusion, "What do you mean you have an upperhand?" she asked. Then she scoffed, "Singer. Me. Yeah, right. Like that'll ever happen!" she said with bitter disappointment, rolling her eyes.

"You never know. About the upper hand lets just say I'll be pretty good about telling when they're lying. I can read minds a bit but I dont like telling people about it they don't understand some times if you know what i mean." She shivered remembering her cousins.

Andie raised an eyebrow in surprise. "You can read minds? Wow. That's a pretty special gift. So, do you really think I can be a singer? I mean, I know have what it takes, but so do millions of other girls. So there's a one in a million chance that I'll be a singer, and it's highly likely that I won't be that one!"

"I know its a special gift but my cousins dont think so but who cares about them any way. You never know with some luck. This the place to work you meet a talent agent and they might want to work with you right?"

Andie smiled, "Well said." she complimented the young Gryffindor. "If they don't appreciate your special gifts, then they obviously don't appreciate you. She sighed. "I wish it was that easy Sarie, but it's not. Getting an agent isn't a piece of cake you know. Besides, I'd need a band, a manager, and other stuff. And I just don't have the money for that right now."
