Name: Helena Martin

Personality: Helena is a "glass half-full", friendly-to-everyone type of person, and is almost never completely serious. However, her cheerful attitude does annoy some people, and the way she doesn't care much about what other people think about her makes Helena seem a bit insensitive. Helena calls herself a 'notorious procrastinator' but in the end she seems to get everything done. Helena has a pretty good sense of humor, and is the type of person who seems funny no matter what they do. When she grows up, Helena wants to be a comedian. Helena has a large collection of buttons, which she pins everywhere.
Appearance: Helena is a metamorphmagus, but she rarely changes her appearance other than her hair. She is of Greek descent and has olive-colored Mediterranean skin. She has a large, hooked nose which is somehow the one body part she has a hard time changing. She has almond-shaped dark brown eyes and bow-shaped, full lips. Helena has long legs and is somewhere around 5'7.
History: Helena's mother, Samantha Martin (nee Barron) grew up in Bournemouth, England and was a witch born to a muggle family. She met Helena's father, Dennis Martin when she visited America while she was trying to pursue a (failed) career in singing.
Dennis Martin is an American muggle and a former politician who was borderline radical and very liberal. He was extremely outspoken and passionate, but the world of politics was too much for him to handle, with all the lying, cheating and manipulating.
Dennis and Samantha settled in Atlanta, Georgia where Helena grew up. Because of this, Helena has a southern drawl. The Martins stayed in Atlanta until Dennis Martin quit his job as a politician. This was when Helena was 9 years old. They moved to London, which Helena instantly fell in love with. The family was almost certain that Helena would get a letter from Hogwarts. Ever since she was born, she kept changing her appearance. When she was 5 years old however, when she was doing a watercolor painting, she spilled water and panicked, but the water strangely did absolutely no damage. Samantha and Dennis were overjoyed. She was taught that all people are equal, that tradition shouldn't be relied on, and in the end love and peace are all that is needed.
