Name: Elijah Ellerby

Personality: Very little is known about what kind of person Elijah really is. While he appears to be a model student, obedient and good at following orders, he never portrays his true intelligence or level of thinking that is always stationed one step ahead and relentlessly focused on his agenda. It could be considered that Elijah is manipulative but he himself prefers to use the term persuasive, choosing to encourage a connection of loyalty, trust and benevolence rather than cold deception. Although Elijah may use people for his own ends, he chooses to believe that it is for the success of a greater good, and is constantly promoting it – sometimes to the point of eccentric passion.

Appearance: Avatar.

History: Although half-blood, Elijah grew up normally in a popular town in the Midlands among muggles, attending a muggle primary school. In his earlier years at Hogwarts it became apparent that Elijah was an exceptionally minded boy, displaying skills of logic and rationalisation that were noticeable. Integrated into a social circle consisting of intelligent and politically active students, Elijah became very enthusiastic over politics and the movements of the ministry and underground. However, certain events occurred that resulted in this inner circle being disbanded, some arrested. Through bitterness Elijah sort out organisations outside of Hogwarts, inadvertently stumbling upon the Red Rose League.

Relationship:
Very close - They are both aware of each others real selves, fully and honestly, and have very much the same ideas and agenda. This kind of connection for Elijah is usually rare as most of the people who fit this discription are often just business associates. This category is complicated because teachers and elders usual fall into it, although Elijah knows he needs to stop treating such people as friends.
Good friends - Happy and comfortable in each other's company. People in this position are trusted immensely by Elijah and mean a lot to him. He makes friends very easily even though he's very secretive, so quite a few people fit this.
Aquaintance - On positive speaking terms. Will occassional spend time together and bond on a simple level.
Tolerant - Friend nor foe. These a people he usually knows from a distance whom he refuses to get close with for whatever reason (usual related to professionalism).
Rivals - Elijah does not hate anyone, but he does feel competative. For whatever reason the people who fall into this category are a threat to him.

Good Friends

Details:
Elijah has often been there for Sophie when she has needed him most. He is her pillar to lean upon when times become a little too tough for her. She believes totally in him and is really far too trusting in the lad she has known all through her school life at Hogwarts. With her trusting nature she does often make him her confidante, believing his advice to be crucially impartial and truthful.
In the same year they have shared many times together, in equal measure good and bad.
Sophie needs Elijah to confide in, but thinks of him as nothing more than a good friend whom she does trust quite fully.

Future RP ideas:
Adventures with the time turner, he begins to trust her a little more and let's something slip perhaps?

Loren and Elijah have a rather messy relationship. During their early days of Hogwarts they went out with each other, and although at first they shared the usual children's game of awkward kisses after lessons and holding hands on their way to dinner, the new interests and ideas they both gained as they got older caused a lot of problems. Loren did not like Elijah's new friends who were far too interested in politics, and Elijah found Loren to be a little too clingy. Eventually Elijah decided he couldn't cope with the lack of space and sadly broke it off.

Predictably the two of them are now impossibly polite and formal to each other. Loren went crazy with anger in the beginning, but they now share a silent agreement that nothing ever happened between them - and if one sees the other approaching down the corridor, they are to quickly turn round and find another route...

Details:
Nothing but that they went out, broke it off, haven't spoken properly since. Loren is going out with Elijah's rival, Dax Simmons.

Future RP ideas:
Now that Loren is going out with Dax, Elijah's interest in her has been sparked again (as he does not like Dax and would do anything to challenge him). So this, of course, could be put to good use.[/size]

Very Close or perhaps Good Friends?
In their first couple of meetings Elijah was completely terrified of Aurélie and her ranting french. However, now (now being after the "Start of an new era" thread =P) they've been lucky enough to somehow become very close in a very short amount of time. Even though there isn't that many years between them, Aurélie feels the need to look after Elijah, though makes sure to treat him as the adult he is. She thinks Elijah is someone who has had to grow up too quickly and she tries to bring out his less serious side.
