A dark haired girl with brilliant blue eyes entered Hogsmeade for what seemed like the hundreth time. Over her three years of coming here Elyse had visited everything there is. But there were times when she felt the need to visit this place to bring back some memories of times past. Her normal band of followers didnt seem to have noticed that she left the castle today. Which was a relief Elyse wasnt in the mood to deal with them today.
People were dashing in and out of shops trying to get some shopping done. The younger students were running up and down the Main Street trying to figure out where to go first. Elyse giggled to herself as she saw a group of three young students totoally awed by the sight of the Shrieking Shack. Shaking her head slightly she entered her favorite pub; The Three Broomsticks.
It was noisy as always in here. People laughing, drinks clinking against the heavy tables, chairs sliding in and out as people got up Elyse smiled. She was back. Edging her way to the counter she slid into one of the stools. Madame Rosmerta immediately came up to her and asked how she was doing and what she would like. "Just some Butterbeer today. And I am doing well. The homework is killer however."
The barmaid bustled around getting her butterbeer and once she returned with it Elyse paid her the cost and started sipping her drink. Its warm silky contents sliding down her throat. A small smile appeared as she emerged from her drink. Wonder what things are going to happen today.

Aidan and Derryl had sent an owl to their sister and now they were thirsty. They made their way towards Hogmeade and talked amongst themselves about how they were going to get back at Vance for busting them and that Pixle girl for helping them.
Soon they reached The Three Broomsticks and went in. They found their usual seats open and sat down. The barman spotted them and sent them their usual drinks, Cockroach Milkshake Surprise, a strawberry one for Derryl and a chocolate mint one for Aidan. Their drinks came floating to them and they took them greedily. 'Thanks,' they said in unison and began to drink.
Aidan spotted a Ravenclaw girl sitting a few stools away from them and nudged Derryl. Derryl looked and grinned. He looked at Aidan and his brother nodded. They got up from their seats and went to sit on either side of her, grinning in the same way at her.
'Hiya,' said Derryl as he pulled himself onto the stool to her right.
'Hiya,' said Aidan as he did the same onto the stool on her left.

Her question was answered almost immediately by two boys sitting on either side of her. Turning her blue gaze on each of them in turn she quickly recognized them as twins. Which wasnt hard to figure out because they both wore the exact same smile. They looked like they were on their first year of coming to Hogsmeade, so it hadnt yet lost its appeal for them.
"Hello boys," Elyse said sipping her drink. What do they want? Setting her drink down in front of her the blue eyed beauty crossed her slender legs in front of her and scooted back onto her stool. "What brings the two of you to be inside on such a lovely day?" She charmed. Elyse could feel herself closing in on herself. She was once again faced with her advirsary of meeting new people. She always had problems with this but hopefully like a few times before Elyse could over come it.

Aidan and Derryl smirked at each other passed the girl. Then they quickly looked back to the girl. 'We were at the Owlery-' Aidan said.
'And then we got thirsty-' Derryl said.
'So we decided to come here-' Aidan said.
'For our favourite drinks,' Derryl said and they both lifted their tall glasses. Then, as though they had planned it, they both drank from their glasses while still watching the Ravenclaw. 'And what brings you here?' Derryl asked, setting his glass down again while Aidan still drank.

Elyse soon got the feeling that she was missing something. The boys shared a side glance and then told her that they were at the owlry, got thirsty and came here for their favorite drinks. They lifted their drinks for emphasis. "I see." The blue-eyed beauty said looking from one twin to the other.
She couldn't figure it out but the two were up to something. What the Ravenclaw brunette couldn't figure out but there was definitely something up. Elyse shook it off and answered the twins question. "I am here because I got tired of the dingy lights in the castle. Needed a change of scenery."
This was true. But it was mostly from the Library she needed a break from. She had been spending all together too much time in there. One can only take the musty odor and the tangible dust for so long.
"And if I may ask, what are your names?" Elyse asked nicely placing her mug to her lips again sipping the butterbeer inside.

Aidan put his glass down. 'So you think the greatest place on earth is dingy, do you?' he asked. He had always thought that being at Hogwarts was better then being at home and stood firmly by that. He crossed his arms and frowned, facing the girl. he had something to ask but his brother cut him off.
'It makes sense, Aid,' Derryl began, 'the castle can get a little crowded. Remember that time in the corridor where we couldn't get away?' Aidan nodded. 'I rest my case,' Derryl concluded.
The two twin stared at the Ravenclaw, and for a moment were entranced by her. But soon her question came to them and Aidan said, 'I'm Aidan.'
Derryl said, 'I'm Derryl.'
'And together we're The Parkhurst Twins!' Aidan and Derryl said together, leaning over the counter and flapping their arms about like they had practised it for weeks. 'And you are?' Derryl asked as the two sat down.

Sarie walked in to the pub she wanted to get away for a little while. She took a seat a table. And pulled out a notebook. She was working on a book and she need nosie to work. She ordered a butterbeer and started writing. She looked up to see those Slytherins Twins. They had set off dungbombs in the hall that moring. She shook her head. They where talk to a 5 or 6 year Ravenclaw. She went back to her notebook.

After a pause the Parkhurst twins answered her. Derryl and Aiden were their names and as they flopped around Elyse swallowed her mouthful of butterbeer. Well they are rather flamboyant. As they sat back down they asked her what her name was.
The blue-eyed beauty hesitated for a moment. Should she give these troublemakers her name? Not really seeing a reason not to Elyse spoke in her melodic tones to the twins. "My name's Elyse. But you two may call me Ellie." A smile lurked around her mouth as she said her nickname.
A friend of hers had given it to her. And from then on all of her friends started using it, Elyse just guessed it was catchy. And what would be the harm in having two third years know, not like they could hex her on the spot, unless she was not paying attention. But she kept a close eye on the two, discreetly of course. Sipping her butterbeer again the Ravenclaw brunette turned around to see the almost exact scene that she had walked in on.
Turning back around she played with her mug on the counter. Elyse didn't really know what else to say so unless the Parkhurst twins could think of a subject Elyse would be silent, as is her nature.

'Pleasure,' Aidan said and grasped her hand, shaking it furiously.
'Pleasure, indeed,' Derryl said and grasped her opposite hand and began to shake it as furiously as his brother. Elyse had the hands of her arms being shaken on opposite sides to where they usually were. The twins grinned at her, wide and suspicious.
Dropping her hands at the same time, Aidan was the first to get his hand on his glass. The two began to chug down their drink, racing each other to see who could finish it first. Aidan was in the lead at first but he dropped his glass and his free hand shot to his forehead, his face contorted in pain. 'Ow,' he moaned, 'brain freeze.'
Derryl continued drinking, pointed at his brother and laughed. He finished his milkshake and laughed at Aidan. Aidan scowled at Derryl and gave him this three knuts across Elyse. 'Thank you,' Derryl said and pocketed his winnings. One look at Elyse told the twins that they had confused her. Derryl handed his empty glass to the barman and ordered another. Aidan explained.
'We had a bet, you see,' he said, 'we had to find someone, introduce ourselves, get their name, shake their hand and down our drink. The first one to finish their drink got three knuts.' He grinned at Elyse and sipped his drink.
'I chose the drink,' Derryl said when his new drink arrived, 'coz I know that Aid gets brain freezes.' He gave his brother a cheeky smile, looking very like Russell and sipped his milkshake.
