It wasn’t often you found a student wandering the path to the shrieking shack in the day time, but Lucas wasn’t any typical student. He was planning ahead, and in advance of the next unsuspecting student to wander to the old place. As he waded through the overgrown grass, pockets filled with all sorts of goodies and jokes to use for his ingredients to his comical concoction. His mission; A prank.
As the dusk was nearing, Lucas hurried his steps up the path towards the rather violent tree, a gentle and low breeze blowing only what seemed to be the grass. He didn’t have much time before some naive soul came barging into the shrieking shack and looking for a scare. Lucas was sure going to give them one. Reaching the tree, he pulled out his wand and immobilised it, causing small fragments of the wood to chip away where the spell hit. With an abnormally loud creak the tree slowed down before it finally froze and Lucas watched as the chips fell away and scattered but were too frozen in midair. Looking up to the orange skies before he entered the obscure entrance, he breathed in a lungful of fresh air, catching a slight aroma of dandelions which made him sniffle and sneeze.
Facing the battered and worn tree, he clambered underneath it and down the mud walls, feeling his way down as he turned his wand into a light. Squinting as he stumbled more than a few times, he eventually reached the end of the dank tunnel and was slightly disappointed that the smell of soil was now replaced by a sickly musky smell that lingered around the shack. Lifting up the hatch door, he pulled himself up and here began his pranks.
Ducking low, he replaced the hatch and put a stink bomb at the opening so the next person who opened it would set it off and it would go off in their face. Being careful not to tread on it, he stepped over and began laying other pranks in various positions, the best probably the invisible skateboard he had lay at the top of the stairs.

dumb move like McGuff had the Gryffindor waited until nightfall before advancing up the steps towards the rickety old building. She froze in place when she heard someone cry out, and before you could say Herman Finklestein Jimmy Fleckenbergen Trudeau Appleface a poor first year ran past her crying, smelling of nasty and tripping over rocks. Covering her nose to stop herself from gagging at it Willa arched an eyebrow, wondering which Snake exactly had positioned the stink bomb at the entrance of the place. Whisking her wand and conjuring up a gust of air Willa attempted to blow a bit of the smell away, as to make it safer and more breathable for her to step through the door. "Lumos." She murmured afterwards as she eased herself inside, thankful for not tripping this time. Summer and the heat it brought with it always made her more clumsy, ironic considering all the ice during winter had her falling over herself and shooting down the hallway on her butt. Anywho! Stepping inside and gasping quietly as something slimy slid past her ankle the Gryffindor all but jolted up on to the post of the staircase. "What is this?" She laughed, holding up the animated little toy snake that had felt so real a moment ago. Someone was putting pranks all over the place! That was sure not the only one, she was certain of it. Moving up the stairs and holding her wand out to keep the way lit, Willa's foot met the invisible skateboard and she shot back down the staircase on her stomach, wand flinging away to the shadows. "Nagh!" She cried out, feeling the wind knocked out of her as she curled up at the foot of the stairs. Breathing in heavy, erratic gasps the Gryffindor wondered who on earth put that there. That was dangerous! Suddenly she burst into laughter, still trying to catch and steady her breath. Crafty ones weren't they? But she wasn't about to be discovered yet. Accio'ing her wand back to her Willa shakily stood, slipping back into the shadows and sinking low on to her knees in a crouch. That person was bound to come back and look for who had fallen precariously into their trap.[/ul]

As Lucas waited patiently at the top of the stairs around a bend, he heard every noise, every creak of the house and every breath from the person who had just entered the shack. Looking down the stairs, a first year creaked open the hatch, soon being met in the face by the stinkbomb exploding and causing clouds of brown dust to twirl and spiral upwards before starting to settle. The shock of the prank was what got the kid most, and he soon stumbled backwards back down the hatch and Lucas heard the faint sound of tears. Finding it hard to bite back his laughter, he shushed himself as he heard the trapdoor open once more.
Peering slightly round the corner again, he saw Willa. Cursing himself slightly, he knew if she got pranked she would prank him back just as well. Still, he couldn't stop himself from letting them carry on and he stood grasping onto the wall waiting to watch the events unfold before his very eyes. Hearing a slight gasp, he looked back down at her as the toy snake wormed its way around her ankle before being picked up by her and she simply laughed at it. As she dropped it, he watched as it began slithering off once more. As she headed to ascend the stairs, he hid around the corner away to hear a scream from the skateboard. Hearing a bump a few seconds later, he peered around the corner once more just in time to see her bumping down the stairs. He was biting his lip so hard he couldn’t hold back his fit of giggles anymore and soon burst out in laughter. Knowing his game was up, he side stepped out from his hiding place swinging his wand in his hand before turning and giving a bow in three separate directions as if he was in front of an audience.
“Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all night” he grinned before looking back at Willa. “What you doing down there? My handsome face is up here”

of pranks." His were just child's play. Reaching up to catch the plastic spider that was dangling above her head she enclosed it in her hand before prying open her fingers once again to reveal the live tarantula in her palm. That was pretty good; she hadn't even used a wand this time for it! Grinning at it she threw it at his face, this not being one of her pranks but to make him jump was satisfying in its own way, she supposed. Jumping back and whipping her wand out the Gryffindor narrowed her eyes with a wickedly gleeful grin. "Two can play at that game, McGuff!" Saying his last name made her laugh, and a swarm of bees shot out of the end of her wand. She knew he was afraid of them, and seeing as he was so full of fun and laughter what better way to get back at him before the real fun began? Though she'd disperse them eventually, after he wet himself or started crying. It was all in good fun anyway, he had threatened her with leaves last week even though she was absolutely terrified of them. Surprisingly enough she could still chill in trees without issue. Hm. Waiting for the satisfying scream Willa watched as the bees swarmed around him, not stinging him but basically getting all up in his grill, buzzing wildly around his head and face. Hearing his loud complaining had her waving her wand to disperse them, and they popped out of view in tiny clouds of smoke. By the time they were all gone and he opened his eyes she'd be standing right infront of him, leaning in with a grin. "Ooh, I'm sorry, did I scare you?" She rested her hands on his chest, playfully pushing him away with a laugh. The teasing and the pranks would continue until the end of time at this rate. Neither of them was stubborn enough to give up, that was for sure. At least there weren't any leaves around to give him an advantage.[/ul]
