The whole evening was a blur. Quinn was especially unsure what happened after Thom Moen had been killed and what had happened to Greenwich. She, somehow, got separated from them, stumbling along in the dark Forest, hand still clutched to her bleeding side, wand still in hand. The night pressed to her sore, heaving chest, and threatened to swallow her. She could feel her strength failing and her will became stronger to get out of the forest and to where she could sleep. All Quinn wanted to do was sleep.
She quickened her pace, running and gasping for air. She leaned against a tree with her arm above her head, her dark hair hanging loose. She squinted ahead and saw a faint glimmer of a light ahead. It didn't matter where she came out as long as she did. She dropped her arm from the tree, her shoulder coming an inch to crashing into it as she swung on. Her left leg was loosing feeling, the injury in the left love handle the culprit. The deep puncture caused by a thick upturned stick was still bleeding through her clenched fingers. She stumbled on.
When the light became a distant lamp, Quinn knew she was close. She left the Forest behind her without a backwards glance. The dark mass that she assumed was Hogsmeade loomed over her except for the solitary lamp that hung on the eave of the building nearest her. It squeaked as it swung on it's rusty hook, the wind becoming more and more persistent. She followed the sound, unable to keep her eyes open, and soon her right shoulder connected with the corner of the building. Quinn squinted up, the lamp above her seeming to be three. She sighed in relief and collapsed, unconscious, onto the floor, her wand still stuck in her firm grip.

What a strange week this was turning out to be, and a most annoying one in Kimberly's own mind. Every corner she took, everytime she looked over her shoulder, the place was crawling with these damned ministry officials. Just what was it they were planning on doing, of course this, nobody quite knew, though most had a nagging suspicion though these usually lead to threads that were easily severed and lost. It would seem to Kim as though things, these events which were happening, would eventually lead to an all out war, and sure, you could stand on the sidelines if you really wanted to but where was the fun in that.
In the streets of Hogsmeade she smiled, and though she knew, this place like all the rest, was swarming in ministry folk she did not expect to find one in such a sorry state as the one she was soon to find. Kim kept on walking up the street, thinking over the weeks events, trying to toll them over in her mind and trying best she could to figure some sense out of them. She had had a shocker of her life when she realised someone who was supposed to be dead, was actually still walking around. And still an arrogant piece of work too, who thinks he owns the place and everyone in it True she did not like this person, but she liked the ministry even less. If that was even possible.
Kim had never quite learned to think and look where she was going. Walking through Hogsmeade her foot hit something quite hard, but at the same time quite soft too. It caused her to trip and she prayed it was not some homeless man who was going to get hexed into next week. Looking down, a smirk tugged at Kim's face. Quinn Locksley, member of the Magical Enforcement Office and whom, Kimberly had met once before in the forest. The woman looked a little beat up as she leant down to examine her. "I think i admire whoever did this" she said with a smirk, pointing her wand towards the womans face and muttering "Aguamenti" A jet of ice cold water left her glass wand and hit Quinn square in the face. Now she despised Ministry workers, but it was unethical to attack one who could not defend themselves. Quinn did not seem to be waking up, and leaving her in the middle of the street was highly impractical. "Alright, up you come" she spoke, picking up her wand and hoisting her onto her back, "Oh god! Have you ever heard of dieting! Your heavy you great lump" Kim practically threw her down on the nearest bench and threw her wand back to her. She stood there with her arms crossed for a while to see if the person would awaken.

Quinn had lost much blood but even so, even in her unconscious state, she could still tell that someone was sneaking around Hogsmeade when they shouldn't be. An ice cold jet of water washed her face, removing some dirt and grim from her face. She didn't move, however, whoever was there was not to be trusted if this was their first action. She lay quite limp as the person, clearly not as tall as Quinn was, bragged her to a bench. The dieting comment made Quinn smirk and she had her weight a little more dead, heavy.
She was unceremoniously lumped onto the bench, it was cold against her sore bleeding skin. She groaned and pushed herself onto her elbow. "Gently," she said as she frowned at a blond girl. It seemed strange that this specific Slytherin was out at this time of night but then again, if Quinn thought about it, it was in similar conditions that they first met. It was in the Forest, dark and cold, dank and much like this: dark, dank, damp and cold. She didn't like it much. She swung her legs off the bench and sat up on it. She tried to steady her vision on the girl but merely swayed from side to side as she gripped the edge of the bench.

"Your in no position to make requests" she said bluntly. Kim was not one for helping people especially those of the ministry. Though for some reason, Kim hadnt turned her back on this woman and instead she had found herself trying to help her, though for what reason, still remained unclear to Kim. Though she was quite sure her reason would become clear to her soon enough.
Kim watched as she swung her legs off the bench and tried to keep a focus on Kim. Except she couldnt, she was swaying left and right and eventually had to grip onto the side of the bench for support. She wondered what had happened to make such a strong, or so she had heard, ministry official to show such weakness. Something had happened and Kim found herself still admiring the person that had put this woman in the weakened state she was in. Personally, Kim thought, She was lucky Kim had found her and not the rogue wizard Jake. Of course she wasnt going to tell her that.

Quinn grimaced as a flash of pain spiked through her back. She sat up bolt right like someone had dropped an ice block down her back, and her face contorted in pain. She relaxed when the pain had subsided and closed her eyes, putting her hand absently on her wound. It wasn't bleeding as profusely as it had been and Quinn was thankful for that.
She opened her eyes a crack and stared at the girl in front of her. "I suppose you are right," she said, dropping her arm and wiping her face of any traces of any pain. She could not believe she had allowed herself to pass out, least of all be found and by a child no less. Just my luck, she thought as she convinced herself the pain wasn't real, she was fine. This was an old trick she had learned and sometimes it worked, others not. This was one of the latter. The pain shot through her again and she bolted up right, face contorted.
Taking a few deep breaths, Quinn relaxed again. She looked down the dark street. It was new moon and the stars were hiding too. Quinn found it strange that such a night would be a new moon, with her luck she would have run into a werewolf or seven. She mused at this and smirked. She had to get to her room, there she could patch herself up and know she was safe. She stood, tried to at any rate. She wobbled dangerously but when her legs didn't cave in under her weight, she look a step forward.
As soon as her foot touched the ground, it buckled and she fell onto her hands and knees. Quinn stayed in this position, huffing her ragged breaths, and stared at the muddy ground. She was not about to crawl to the Three Broomsticks, her pride was too big for that, but she also could not walk. So she stayed as she was, staring at the ground, burning a hole into it with her anger and frustration.
