Waking up this morning, with the sun beating down on her Blakely decided that today was the day she was going to buy an pet. She loved going up to the owlery to send letters, but hated having to use a school barn owl; so that was why an owl was in the question. Blake loved roaming the grounds and finding cats to pet, but hated they always belonged to everyone else; that's why a cat was in the question. And she abseloutely hated slimey, gross colored things; that's why toads are out of the question.
Blakely got up, put on a yellow tanktop, a cuffed pair of black shorts, and some yellow polka-dotted flipflops. As she left her dorm she put her hair up into a messy pony tail. Blake exited the common room without being stopped. She hopped down stair after stair until she came to the bottom. then she skipped to the Great Oak Doors. Pulling them open she took a deep breath and took in the smell of the outdoors. On her way to Kyleson's Animal Resources, she debated on which animal to get, but she wasn't getting anywhere.
When Blakely arrived in Hogsmede she scanned the shops for the one she had been looking forward to entering since this morning. She walked into the store and looked around. There were so many animals. This only made it worse. Now Blakely was never going to choose. She stood over by a tabby cat that was a sandy colors. She argued with herself in her head until someone came up.

[[ hope you don't mind me bouncing in ]] Marcus had had a rotten morning so far, simply rotten. When young second year had woken he had the funniest feeling that something wasn't right. Reaching out for his glasses and putting them on, Marcus soon saw what. Sherlock had gone from his sleeping place. Sherlock had gone! Upon the instant that he had seen this, Marcus threw off the covers and jumped out of bed to look for his toad but his foot connected with something soft. A shot of guilt, mixed with anguish at himself and at the silly toad that was now under his foot, shot from his foot straight to the tips of his fingers and the top of his head. How could he had been so stupid? It didn't take a second for Marcus to quickly lift his foot again, jump away and turn around to see his fat toad sitting on the floor still snoozing lazily. Marcus scooped the small creature up in his hands, looking intently at Sherlock from all angles. He didn't seem to be injured but then again Sherlock wasn't the type to complain or croak when he was feeling under the weather. This had made Marcus worry even more. Putting the toad on his bed, Marcus quickly pulled on a pair of jeans, a green t-shit and slipped on a pair of Cedric's flipflops - Cedric being his dorm mate. The next minute he was scooping Sherlock up and rushing out the dorm room. Sam was in the common room, already dressed and reading the paper, but Marcus didn't stop to talk. "Got an emergency," he said quickly, "I'll be back and explain later." He was out of the Hufflepuff's burrow in a flash and was rushing out of the school and towards Hogsmeade. He had heard there was an animal place there and Marcus knew that if anyone could help it was the person there. At first, the small red-headed boy was just walking very fast but as Hogsmeade came into view he was running, still cradling the sleeping toad in both his hands. He got to the Animal Resources place quickly and soon he burst through the door, pushing it open with his shoulder and panting heavily. "Hello?" he called, "Is anyone here?" He sounded a little frantic and by his flushed red cheeks, his red hair and his green shirt that made him look redder he certainly looked it.

It had been a hopless morning so far. It was useless for Blakely to sit or stand in the animal shop arguing and debating with herself on which animal to buy. She had it narrowed down to either a cat or an owl, but Blake just couldn't decide. Blakely had become very good friends with the shop owner: Rosalie Kyleson, so she had become very accustomed with the shop and it's normal customers, and belive her Blakely was not a normal.
She had been standing next to a bright orange tabby cats cage, but soon began to get bored of just staring at the beautiful creature's fur and other unique features. Blakely slid down the cabinet that was holding the cages and began to doze off. But she could hear noises. It was a quiet morning and Rosalie hadn't come out to greet her yet, she didn't think. Blake could hear a faint whisper of a hello and was sure she wasn't alone.
A bit freaked out Blakely stood up and looked around. She didn't notice anyone at first, but looking down she noticed a small, guessing Hufflepuff, boy quite a few years younger than herself. "Hi... need any help?" Blake asked,"You look worried... follow me." Blakely said as she wiggled her finger in his face. She had him follow her to the water despenser and turned back to look at him. "So i'm Blakely Wilson, fifth year Hufflepuff... you are?"
