Hogsmeade weekend, chaos anyone? Not for Pippa, usually she managed to escape the onrushing hordes of Hogwarts students racing up to the shops, but today she was having to join them, for a start her bubbly buddies had been bugging her to venture with them there as soon as term started, Pippa didn't see the need, she would have prefered to sneak up there one evening, but out of five attempts she'd been caught three times, often in very...uncomfortable circumstances; stuck in a ditch, near killed in a cave in as she tried going through one of the tunnels and spotted by a teacher in the Hogs Head, what were the chances? Only twice had she managed to sneak up without being seen, well she didn't think she'd been spotted. But now she had not only her mates pressing but worse, her Mother wanted some sweets from Honeydukes, Pippa swore she did it on purpose to piss her off failing to face her irrational fear of owls each time she tried sending anything home. But her Mother was the most persistant and frankly irritating person she knew and there would be no stopping her, best just get the stupid trip over and done with.
Trekking up there was easy enough but she was soon dragged here there and everywhere; everywhere she didn't want to go. But eventually she managed to elude her friends as they gawked at some passing lads, and she slipped into Honeydukes, even before she entered she was hit by the overpowering smell of sickly sweet sweets, her senses were assailed as the bright and vibrant colours each fought for her attention screaming out pick me, pick me! Her nose led her in but she couldn't decipher the smells and nor could she see what she wanted either, she'd have to stand there like a prune scouring the entire shop before she found the obscure choice, everything was so wierd and wonderful she couldn't get the hang of it, though she was partial to Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, mostly because you never knew what you'd get, she particularly liked caviar and strangely latex flavoured beans, so she was sure to buy a bag but she couldn't for the life of her find...wait there they were, but someone else was stood directly in front of them, and was taking their sweet time over deciding, "scuse me kipper, can I just..." she tried to squeeze past, and reached out for the offending article, just as they made their decision;the exact same, Pippa now held the hand of the only other person on the planet who actually liked the Devil's Chocolate Coated Shrimp.
"Oh what, it's the last one Even Stevens," she grumbled hand firmly staying upon theirs, "please tell me you're joking, you can't actually like it...can you?" She asked incredulously bright eyes falling upon the offender.

It was now the sixth Hogsmeade visit of the year, and seemingly it was still not an old thing with the students, however who could blame them, it was always good just for the fact that you could leave the castle for a while and combat the conditions to go down and spend a few hours in the pub, or any other shop for that matter. Blake had meant to head down earlier to avoid the large crowds. It was hard to go anywhere without being collared by at least six groups of people and being followed by blushing girls, making an excuse to the third horde that had attacked him in the first 20 minutes of his visit, he slipped into the nearest shop, it just so happened to be Honeydukes, the warmth and sickly smell hit him full on in the face, as he entered the shop. It was a lot warmer than the current November breeze rid streets. His eyes watered slightly, and for this reason he moved down the outside isle of the shop. Well he was here he may as well buy something! Browsing the shelves carefully he found the usual suspects, fizzing whizbees, lively laces, the latter was always fun, you could never leave them in one spot for long, they had a tendency to wander, and if you forgot to keep the rest of them in check whilst eating them, they had a way of crawling into your ears or up your nose. It was more fun to give them to first years though; you could never beat those reactions.
Running his eyes alone the shelve he came across an odd sweet he had not seen for in Hogsmeade, it was the dull packaging that attracted his attention. They clearly had spent little time on the packaging itself but when the product tasted so good, what importance was the packaging! Anywho it meant that there was more for him to devour. As he reached out for the chocolate coated shrimps, he heard a slight mumble from behind him, and so distracted began to turn around, until he felt a hand on his. Had Rieko bothered to show herself today after all then? With raised eyebrows he turned and was about to ask where she had been when he realised it was not her, in fact it was a Hufflepuff. Blake knew he had seen her around but could not match a name to the face, “Ah, hello there.. If you wanted to hold my hand, you could have just asked you know.” Blake chuckled, and raised an eyebrow as she said it was even stevens, and was about to comment on the fact that his hand had actually been there first, so they were rightfully his when she continued, and seemed slightly disturbed by the fact that he was actually voluntarily buying them, but then again.. so was she.
Amused by the distaste in her voice Blake replied with a smile, “Indeed I do, most unfortunate don’t you think? My friend adores them. And hey, you can’t not steal sweets off friends when the opportunity is laid at ones feet!” inclining his head in the direction of their hands still placed on top of each other, “Anyway so must you if you are buying them, and fighting for the last packet!” ((I'm sorry.... thta was really bad haha))

How could shrimp cause such trouble? She would never even have dreamed that anyone else would want any, and here was this guy suddenly adament that he wanted some shrimp, she had God-awful luck, if she'd been there a few seconds earlier, given her friends the slip sooner or just woken at sunrise then this wouldn't be happening, but no things just had to go wrong.
She had to marvel at his razor sharp wit as her hand alighted upon his, grasping tightly to show her attentions, rolling her eyes she responded tartly, "woah fancy, flirting Franklin not everyone wants a piece of you, yeh I know it's shocking isn't it?" She mocked with a grin, hand clenched upon his, she needed this shrimp, and she needed it now, she couldn't deal with another howler from her Mother, it was the only thing that kept her doing what she wished really, but it sure worked. There was no other effective way to get Pippa to do things for her, naturally she rebelled against what her mother said, especially concerning relationships.
Supposedly a friend of his wanted them, he'd only be buying them to sweeten a girlfriend, but she knew no-one save her mum who actually ate the horrible stuff, it just didn't go together, chocolate and shrimp, these chocolate makers had insane ideas.
"Dude, I only want these for my Mum, I wouldn't touch them...with a bargepole, they're gross, I'd rather eat a slug." She gave him a curious look, trying to figure him out, was he doing this to be awkward or did he actually want these odd sweets, if so he really was an oddball.
"Ok here's the deal Dudley, you be a gent and let me buy the packet, and I'll let you have one...then watch you hurl, do we have an accord...my man?"

If one more person hounded her by asking if she was going to Hogsmeade she was going to use the bat bogey hex on them. Of course she was going, she always went it was the one place around here that was worth going to. That and the fact she needed to get out of the castle for a while. Sometimes it was just too close for comfort within the castle walls. She had wanted to go alone but of course there was this friend that wanted to go with her, and then that friend that wanted to go with her. Kendal said she'd meet up with them which seemed to suit them both just fine.
After she dressed in jeans, sneakers, a light weight sweater, and heavy denim jacket she threw her hair up in a ponytail then made her way out the doors following all the other students. Standing behind a group of Slytherins she heard their entire discussion on how they wanted to make some poor unsuspecting Gryffindor miserable. They were going to tail the kid the whole time and wait for just the right time to play a mean trick on him. Kendal stood and rolled her eyes. one of the Slytherins turned around and gave her the evil eye. Kendal freaked out but didn't show it refusing to give him the satisfaction. As he sneered at her Kendal just turned and started to walk away.
The poor Gryffindor was going to be sorry, hopefully they wouldn't find him. Oh well there was nothing she could do she didn't even know the kids name they made sure to keep that to themselves and they were long gone from sight. Thoughts of their conversation plagued her mind the whole time she walked to the village. She never even made it to meet her friends didn't really feel like dealing with them now.
She was on the lookout for those Slytherins maybe trying to find out who they were after so she could offer her help. Why this should even bother her she wasn't sure. Walking past store after store she had no luck. Her whole Hogsmeade visit was being wasted. For all she knew they would never find the kid anyway. For once she needed to look after herself and not others. Coming to Hogsmeade had meant going to Honeydukes. There were chocolate frogs and fizzing whizbees that needed buying. Getting through the front door after having to wait for a group of third years who looked lost beyond belief Kendal looked around trying to find what she wanted.
The place wasn't as packed as normal which was good because she hated long lines. There were only two others in there Kendal wasn't really familiar with either but since they were in their own world it didn't phase her much. Finding the chocolate frogs was easy they made a lot of noise and were really hard to miss. The fizzing whizbees on the other hand had her going in this direction, that direction but of course when she spotted them they were not too far from the other two, so close that she would have to ask them to excuse her to get to them. Her shyness kicked in just then. Shuffling her feet she looked over at the two, all she had to do was walk over it wasn't brain surgery or anything. Shrugging her shoulders then squaring them she lifted her chin then walked over. "Um hey I'm sorry can I just get by a minute." She felt silly being so formal but she was lousy with people she wasn't familiar with.
