It was dark, cold, and foggy. Blakely could see nothing, not even her own hands when she held them up to her eyes. Everything had gone blurry... what was happening. She was feeling miserable, bored, scared, and unhappy. Her thoughts and all were leaving her. Everything began to unfold in front of her. She was seeing her life pass before her eyes. Her breathing began to grow unsteady!
Blake found herself in the middle of the Shrieking Shack and it was burning, on fire, oh so very hot! She was scared to death of fire, ever since she was ten and her mansion caught on fire and her father died after saving her life. Blakely began to panic, what was she to do. A big black blob, it looked like it was covered in cloth, and it had a hold with freaky pointed pearly white teeth. Blake took a deep breath and realized from her discription of it in her mind that it was a dementor. She glanced around... what was she doing here? Blake looked at it and tried to look away, but couldn't her glance was stuck... her soul was being drained out!
Blakely awoke with a start. Oh my goodness another nightmare! These had to stop... she was threw, she had no reason to be having nightmares, she was too old! Why is she having dreams of the fire now? It had been five years since her fathers death and the loss of her mansion. She needed to take occlumency to keep her thoughts out. She reached her hand up to her forehead to make sure she was still alive, but all her hand found was wet, stick, salty, sweat! Eww... Blake took her blanket and wiped her forehead.
Still in her pajamas, which were hufflepuff sweats pants and a black tank top, she raced out of the dorm. Threw the Common Room she ran, out the great oak doors, and into Hogsmede. She never stopped. Blakely was convinced to take her mind off of the dream! Blake looked into each shop, but mostly all of them were filled with lots of folks that live around town. She made her way to the end of the road and took a quick glance in Honeydukes, it was practically vacant, so she went in.
Blakely was still breathing very unsteady and she slipped into a corner of the shop and slid down the wall next to some lollipops. Tears began to flood her eyes. She wiped them as she came, but it was useless. Why was this happening to her? What time was it? Would anyone help her?

A burst of flame whirled past Blakely's crouched form, and Noah winced, pausing in his attempt for an acid pop. The few browsing townsfolk sent him annoyed glances which he waved off with an apologetic grin, after checking to make sure the Hufflepuff's hair was not ablaze.
"Sorry." Noah held back a laugh, before he noticed, quite horrified, that she was crying. Kneeling beside her, he stared for a moment, before wincing. "It's those Pepper Imps; I always pick them up by mistake - they look exactly like Fudge Flies."
The look on her face was extremely serious, and Noah frowned realising it wasn't the flames at all that had made her sob. "Blakely?" He inquired gently, settling down beside her. He unfurled the palm still holding his last handful of Pepper Imps and waved them at her playfully. "You look like you could use a bit of stress relief - anything you'd like to set on fire?" His smile broadened as he dropped them into her lap, watching a few of them scatter to the floor.

Blakely was still recieving glances of her previous nightmare. The parts of the fire in the shrieking shack were coming alive in front of her face. Blake couldn't stand fire! Although when she looked up, because she was growing very hot, she realized that it wasn't her nightmare. That there really was fire above her head. She let out a scream and then covered her mouth. A few of the towns people turned to stare, but realized it was only a little Hufflepuff girl and turned away.
The fire went out and she heard a very familiar voice setting down next to her. "Noah?" Blakely barely breathed. Looking to her side, hoping that there was no fire there she saw the brown curly haired boy that had been one of her friends for a while. He looked the same, except for right now he had a bit of a smirk as if he was holding back a laugh. His face changed when he looked at hers. She guessed he had figured out she wasn't in a playful mood, but just his face changed he was still going to try and cheer her up. And she appreciated it!
Noah had waved a few of the last pepper imps he had left in front of her face, teasing her that she needed some relaxing, but she did not respond, so he dropped them in her lap. She wanted to giggle, but was holding it in, afterwhile she just couldn't do it! Blake let out a giggle and picked up two of the pepper imps, one she stuck in her mouth and the other she threw at Noah.
Blakely put on a real whisper of a voice and spoke to Noah,"What are you doing here... it has to be in the middle of the night i'm sure!" She looked at him very seriously... she wanted to know and he was going to respond. All she hoped was that he wouldn't ask her the same thing, 'cause what she would say would make her look like an idiot!

Noah smiled at her exaggerated whisper and leaned in close, as if they were sharing disclosed information. "Didn't you know? Honeydukes puts out their new supply every night at 4:00AM." Noah reached into a bag filled with his purchases, pulling out an unfamiliar, red package. "Jarvey Jellies. I like the blue ones."
The Gryffindor grinned, reaching over to hold out Blakely's palm before opening his candy with a vigorous tear. The sweets fell out onto her hand in a neat pile and Noah inspected them for a moment, before stealing one that was blue. "But I guess you're not here for these."
Uncharacteristically, Noah's expression became serious. "So, Blake; Any reason in particular you're so jumpy tonight?" He found the pepper imp she'd thrown at him earlier on his sleeve and brushed it away gently. When it clattered to the floor, it burst into a small fire before evaporating into a fine dust.

Blakely glanced around nervously. Was she missing something? And of course she was... She watched as Noah smiled at her very real whisper, but aparently the people in Honeydukes didn't care. He made it real clear that he was there, because Honeydukes had put out new candies that Noah enjoyed to eat. She smirked at his response. She listened in closely as he began to tell her of his favorite colors and flavors. The one that stood out to her was the Jarvey Jellies. "Oh is that true..." Blakely laughed,"I love Jarvey Jellies!"
He reached over her and pulled out her palm. Noah laid it upwards on her knee and dumped some Jarvey Jellies into her hand. Before she could eat any, he stole a few blue colored ones. Blake nodded her head at his observation,"But I wouldn't mind pretending I was."
Then the question she feared came into the picture. Noah became serious and all of the nightmares came back to Blake. "Would you believe me if I told you?" Blakely asked him. He reached up and swatted at the pepper imp she had thrown at him and it burst into flames. Blake jumped, with panic in her face, but then it went out in dust. Her face must have given everything away, but until he promised to believe her, she kept her lips closed!

The small flames, as short-lived as they were, provoked an unexpected reaction from the Hufflepuff. Noah tilted his head to one side, regarding Blakely appraisingly, before offering her an unsure smile.
"Hey," Helping her settle back into a comfortable huddle, noticing with a small flicker of mirth that his fingertips were stained blue, Noah lowered his voice. "I've never known you to lie, Blake," he replied sincerely, tucking the rest of his candy into her pocket with a smile.
Though the fire was long gone, Noah stared ahead of them with a hooded gaze. "So yes, I'll believe you."

Blakely flashed him a small, quick, half smile when he said he'd believe her. She bent her head down low close to his. He tucked the rest of his candy into her pocket and Blake moved one of her hands down there to feel. Her eyes got big and shot him a look of You don't have to do that. If he was watching or caring that was his problem.
Taking a few quick glances around the small candy shop, Blakely took a couple deep breaths. Staring at Noah she interwined her fingers and began,"Okay... so i've been having these nightmares about me in the middle of the shrieking shack, its on fire, plus its dark, cold and fogg-" Blake cut herself short. Visions were coming back. She looked at Noah for reassurance. She began again,"You have to understand- my father died in a fire rescuing me. It's hard for me to live with that!"
Blakely took a deep breath again. This was worthless, Noah didn't care. She looked away from his eyes. Was he even listening, why was he being so nice? Blake didn't understand. All she wanted to do was tell Noah he didn't have to stay, but for some reason she just couldn't do it!
