Being as responsible as she always has been and will be, Helia decided not to be a bad influence on the patrons at the Three Broomsticks, and instead brought her lovely ebony cigarette holder to the Hogshead. She sat in a dark, corner booth, a violet glass bottle in front of her, a plume of violet smoke around her, and a vaguely pleasant expression upon her features. In her spare hand she holds a puzzle book, with an enchanted quill hovering in the air in front of it. "Section one, box nine, seven." Helia smiled at the scritching sound of pen against paper as her pen filled out the puzzle box. She was slightly ashamed of her interest in muggle puzzle-games, but they really were amusing. All the arithmatic it took just to figure out where one number went; it was fascinating. So she sat, doing a sudoku puzzle, drinking violet blossom nectar, and smoking her crystalline cigarettes, wondering who might come to join her today.
[[Ha ha, it's so lame, but it's started none the less.]]

Ever since getting the job up at the castle Girty did not think she would be back here, standing behind the bar of the Hogshead. For some unknown reason she had stupidly given into her cousins pleading and agreed to cover Warrens shift while he popped down to Plymouth to visit his kids. The pub really was a second home to her, when she was not helping out behind the bar she would more then likely be found sitting at the counter drinking herself into a merry little state...saying that even when she was working behind the bar she drunk herself into a merry little state too.
The Hufflepuff had just finished serving one of the locals (who for the third time that week had asked Girty to marry him) when she noticed a familiar face walk into the pub, sit down in one of the traditional dark corners of the pub and light up her purple cigarettes. The Professor was about to slip out and say a quick hello when she was corned by a group of wizards who were out on a stag night, and so as a result had to make up around 20 drinks and help the drunken and drugged up blocks count out their money to pay for the sodding things.
As soon as there was a bit of free space Girty quickly jumped over the counter and headed over to the ex-Ravenclaw who for some reason was doing a muggle puzzle. Frowning slightly Girty looked at the boxes within boxes, and when she saw the random numbers placed everywhere she gave a small ’hmmm’ numbers where not her strong point.
“I should have guessed you would be the kind of person to come into a pub and do maths.” Girty grinned as she looked at Helia, it had been a while since they had seen one another and Girty would not deny the excitement in seeing her old friend yet again.
((hahaha dude that start was fine! I am terrible at starting threads so you did a better job then I would have done!))

"Heathens..." Helia muttered when a gaggle of drunken morons toppled over each other into the bar. One of them was even so bold as to ask her if he could "spike, er, ha ha ha, I-I mean buy" her a drink. She flicked the ashes of cigarette in his face and he waddled off cackling like a loony bird. "Correction," she said to herself, "heathen-istic imbeciles."
She took another puff and resumed her puzzle when a shadow loomed above her; “I should have guessed you would be the kind of person to come into a pub and do maths.” Helia looked up at the familiar voice and grinned, "Why, if it isn't Girty Hubbles. Of course I come to pubs and do math; troglodytes don't come and hit on me in my wand shop. How do you expect me to get a date in this town?" she rolled her eyes and choked back a laugh. "But what are you doing here? I heard you were working at Hogwarts; surely your brother didn't fire you did he?"

It was always interesting to see the different ways people react to seeing old friends again, some jump up and down squealing to loudly that only whales could here them, then you have the verity such as Girty who started the conversation with a cheeky comment and those like Helia who keep cool and calm about the whole situation and act how they would had it been the third time they had seen each other that day.
“No he has not been fired yet.” Girty gave a small chuckle and looked down at the empty seat opposite Helia. “May I?” She inquired but sat down anyway before the other could say yay or nay. “I am just here helping out my cousin and earning a bit more extra cash, sadly not as exciting as your maths or suitor hunting.”
Girty gave a small laugh as she looked around the room, the fine male specimens of the wizarding world seemed to be lacking today, all of whom were most likely caught up in a net of a very lucky female leaving everyone else with the common man who’s common features were a bit too much in your face. Not that Girty was complaining too much, she did after all have Alex so she was not one really to moan.
“How is the shop anyway?” Girty thought she best ask seeing as Helia had brought it up, she had noticed it closed up for a while and did not know where the owner had gone to, no one did, but that really did not matter now that she was back!
((I had no idea what I was going on about in that first sentence! I really confused myself haha))

"Because education and drunken nimrods or so fascinating," Helia rolled her eyes dramatically. "Cousin? Someone actually runs this place now?" she queried. "Somehow I had the idea that the shop ran itself... or maybe there was a ghost that kept things in disrepair..." she tilted her head as if searching for a thought bubble above it, but when nothing came she shrugged and moved on to the next subject, and smiled coolly when it happened to be her shop. "It's simply wanderful," she rolled her eyes again, and this time added a head shake. "I really shouldn't enjoy that pun so much... but alas, I can't help myself. In any case, it's doing just fine. I just refurbished, so the poltergeist in the walls is much more pleased with me; he was tired of the dust and ramshackle cabinets." Helia inhaled against her cigarette holder and blew out a string of smoke rings that ended up in the shape of a daisy. "You should come by and check it out some time. As a Professor at Hogwarts you can never have too many wands; remember how many we made our teachers snap out of pure frustration. Then there were the ones that broke during various battles and wars and overly exuberant classes..." Helia smiled pleasantly, "Good times, good times."

“Oh yeah someone runs it…”Girty paused her face looking slightly puzzled. “Well Warren tries to bless him but he would rather be the one drinking then the one serving.”
It was a sad but true fact that the Hubbles family was partial to a good drink and an in family joke about them owning a pub had become reality and as a result had become a real team effort. Whenever anyone had a free bit of time they were helping out behind the bar as much as possible, just enjoying the atmosphere that filled the Hogshead. Although even though Girty knew she was meant to be helping out she felt no urge to rush back to the bar and start serving the drunks once more.
At her reply to how the shop was going Girty could not help but snigger at the pun that Helia gave. It was simple and effective and surprising or not was a lot like the one Girty gave to people. ‘Girty Hubbles, professor of Charms…it is absolutely charming to met you.’ That one never failed to amuse the Hufflepuff, although it always got a groan from the recipient.
“Yeah I will drop by.” Girty concurred as she thought about all the times she had lsot her wand in the forest and then when Helia brought up the frustration of the Professors Girty could not help but laugh out load. “Oh I have taken to throwing calk at the buggers, great way of reliving the frustration and with many a year of Quidditch behind me I can throw rather hard.”
((Gaaa so sorry Lena this post was terrible, I am like not doing anything in this so not moving the post on at all. So sorry!))
