It was eleven o'clock sharp. Way way past Ariel's bed time, but tomorrow was a Saturday, and even if it weren't a weekend tomorrow it's summer. Ariel needed a break. She had been studying, writing lesson plans, and being so frantic and scatter brained on if her class is going to go well this term. She had never taught before in her life, but then she had to choose Occlumency to teach. Such a subject... it took Ariel years to master it as a student, why had she done this to herself? Now she was having second thoughts... this couldn't be happening!
Ariel glanced around her empty office. Nobody was here, not a soul had been here since this morning when a few students came to sign up for her class. Her chair sat there motionless, papers lying on her desk exactly where she had left them. She couldn't take in anymore. She needed some company, someone to reassure her that taking this class was not going to kill her! Ariel went to her trunk, grabbed a nice skirt, a pretty quarter sleeve shirt, and some flats: slipped them on and tiptoed out the door. She didn't know why, but for some reason she felt she needed to. Although adults were free to roam the campus Ariel felt like a hippocrite doing it.
Once she was outside the castle she took a deep, long, breath. Ariel began to walk towards Hogsmede. There had to be something there to fit her need. Ariel was craving a place with lots of people, but then again not. When she arrived at the entrance of the shopping area she scanned the shops. Ah Club Motion... the perfect place! Ariel inched toward the bar. Some firewisky or a simple cocktail would do her some good. Ariel entered the bar to find it not so crowded. Yay... just the way I wanted it! Smiling smugly to herself she went and took a seat on a high barstool and leaned against the railing.
Ariel looked up and noticed that nobody had come to serve her. Glancing around there didn't seem to be anyone in sight who worked here. Clearing her throat loudly, Ariel hoped someone might come to help her. She needed it, and needed it bad! What terrible service! Ariel had only been here a few times in her life, but she didn't expect to be coming back any time soon. Well Ariel didn't want to go back inside, her second thoughts might come back to her, so she stayed right where she was hoping someone would come and talk to her.
