For the most part, another term at Hogwarts was coming to an end. Although this past year was rough on more than just one person, Laney decided to end it with some fun. In her opinion, it was much needed for everyone; but what to do was the question. With the opening of a new club in Hogsmeade, the Ravenclaw had found her answer. The club would be perfect, it definitely had the room for everyone and the party would definitely bring attention to Club Motion in the future.
The posters were set up around the school and even in some of the common rooms. Laney was excited and eager to see everyone having a good time for once. Hopefully her friends would be there; Maxi, Fay, Bray and even Professor Girty Hubbles. Heck, she was excited to even see the students that she didn't know at the party.
With everything set, all she needed were the students or anyone in that matter. Laney sat herself in the restaurant/bar of the club. She hadn't even seen the basement yet but she was saving that for when more arrived.
(not the best but i wanted to do something fun for everyone considering all the drama that has happened this past term)

"Graduation party huh?" Max said as he was walking back to the common room with Jase after flying around the quidditch pitch for a few hours. Well apparently anyway, Jase had seen a poster of it, of course Max walked around with his eyes closed and didnt see a thing so he assumed it was a wind up. That was until he looked at the board and there it was, a poster for it. "Well I'll be darned." He said to himself, "He wasnt havin' me on." So, going upstairs he got changed, normal run, jeans, decent shoes and a white shirt which he let hang loosely instead of being tucked in, before he made his way back out of the common room and down into Hogsmeade.
Of course, he didnt really know where Club Motion was. It had been a long time since he had been into Hogsmeade, let alone paid attention to it. "Uh, excuse me?" He stopped someone in Hogsmeade, "Could you tell me where Club Motion is?" Once he had been given directions, he followed them to a T and eventually found his way there. "I guess this is it." He smiled as he walked inside, the last time he had been at a public gathering, he had successfully managed to embarras himself, not to mention having a killer hangover the next morning.
Walking in, his eyes landed on Laney, he couldnt help himself as he starting grinning like a cheshire cat. It felt like a lifetime since he had seen her. Walking over to her, he placed his jacket on the table, bent down, kissed her forehead, while still grinning now thats talent, and said, "Do you want a drink?"

Rumours had been whizzing around the school like a horde of blue bottle flies about a graduation party in Hogsmeade. Just the sound of it was simply to good to pass up, and as Brooke readied herself for a night out, she got giddy and felt the butterflies flutter away in her stomach in excitement and anticipation of the night and the antics to come.
As she straightened her shoulder length blonde hair, she smiled at herself in the mirror envisioning the fun and frolics that she would get up to that night, more than likely to the distress of Bryn and Ali, but to hell with it, you only live once and she was sure living.
As she smoothed out her burnt orange boobtube dress, she turned around to check out her butt before grabbing her black purse and pushing on her strappy high heels. "Bryn.....BRYN!!! Are you coming?" she shouted into the boys dorm, only to recieve a mumble in return. "Well I'm gonna go, if your coming i'll meet you there" she said as she clutched onto the wall as she made her way carefully down the stairs.
As she walked to Hogsmeade, she knew exactly where the location was and walked straight in to see just a few people there. Scoffing in amusement, she began to walk over to them. "And here's me thinking I was missing all the fun!" she joked. "So hows my favourite couple?" she grinned hooking each arm around Maxi and Laney.

“Bryn… BRYN!!! Are you coming?”
He really felt like saying back, ‘with you? No way!’ Though even Bryn couldn’t pass up a good party could he? Besides, he could keep a closer eye on that sister of his. Especially if Toby and Yorick were going to be there. So, sticking on some decent clothes and ruffling his hair up a touch, he stuck his money in his pocket and made his way out, kicking Zayne who was still catching up with Eve and said, “Going to a party down in Hogsmeade, if you two ever finish, come join us.” Zayne smirked at him, “You’re just going to watch Brooke.” Bryn folded his arms and scowled, “Brothers privileges‘, I thought you would know that.” Zayne just shook his head, “Naw, Lex and Brad are old enough to do what they like, they don’t need me protecting them from everything.” “Well Brooke’s an idiot.” With that, he walked out of the common room and began his trip down to Hogsmeade.
Once he got to the Club, he saw where his sister was and smiled. At least she was with Max, who he knew he could count on to watch her if he wasn’t around. Walking over to them, he put his arms around his sisters waist, picked her up, and placed her behind him, before slipping into her place with his arms around the couple. Turning to Brooke, he stuck his tongue out at her, yes, he may not be happy with her. But their fight could wait for another day. Tonight, anything goes. Unless your flirting with his sister. That doesn’t go. “I win” Bryn said to her and laughed, before moving out of the way. “You want a drink sis?”

It wasn't hard to find out about the party, especially considering that Laney was the madman behind it. She'd walk into the common room everyday and it wouldn't take long for Bray and Fay to hear 'Hi, are you coming to Club motion?' repeated a few times. Fay, being the crazy nonsensical girl she was, was excited about it as always and he was just trying to think of ways to restrain her while there. Maybe a full body bind curse and hiding her under a table could work.
Either way, he was going to be forced to go and might as well be excited about it. Ash was out in France, so that meant he wasn't going to be there, it could be a pretty good time. And on top of that, he asked Elle to go and she said she would probably meet him there. Good thing too, she was such a shy girl needed to get out more.
When Bray dressed up, it didn't quite look like it and never would you see him overdressed for an occasion. The last time he'd dressed up was his sister's wedding, and only because she was able to use magic out of school and had an evil mind. For the occasion he was just wearing an old, black button up shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows and a pair of slightly tattered blue jeans. And to finish it off, his couple year-old converse which looked like they'd been through hell and back. Huzzah, he really didn't care about his appearance!
Once he was finished getting ready he headed over towards the girl's dorms and knocked on the Fifth year's before cracking open the door. Apparently, that was a bad decision since he was immediately assaulted with pillows and bludgered in the face a few times.
'GET OUT!!' That must be his cue to flee but he couldn't quite keep his big mouth shut. "God damn, I would if you'd stop beatin' me!" He said before slamming the door and walking off, trying to smooth down his hair that now looked like he just rolled out of bed. "I don't even want to go with you, anyway." He grumbled only to hear the door open and a pillow fly out and hit him square in the back, her sign of telling him that she heard that. Ow, why was he going with her again?
Bray guessed that he would have to show up alone now and eventually they would show up, and Fay hopefully not as evil as she was when getting ready. 'Women, they take so long. She's a damn veela, it's not hard for her to look good.' He thought grumpily on his way through the streets of Hogsmeade, looking for the newest building that should be Club Motion. Catching sight of a few students going in, he figured that was the place and luckily it was, if Laney and Max being there was any sign.
"Eh, hey." He said as his lame, awkward greeting since it was odd to be without Fay. "Fay's... the devil, I mean, she's coming later."

Party! Yay Party!
The whole week, Fay had been pretty much bouncing off of walls and squealing in her excitement. Bray had given her that ‘what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you’ look all week, but she barely noticed. Laney had come into the common room several times, talking about the party. That only got Fay more excited than she really needed to be. But what could the Claws expect from the girl? She had to take something from her mother, and the love to party was probably one of those traits.
As soon as the day came, she all but locked herself in her room to get ready. After a few outfit changes and a lot of grumbling, she finally found an outfit that she was happy with. It was a short mini-skirt that went to about her knees, and was black. The bottom was ruffled, and the skirt had at least three other ruffle layers. Over this she wore a v-neck t-shirt, that was a very light, baby blue. Being cotton and all, it was soft to the touch. As for accessories, she chose one of her mother’s diamond necklaces. It had a heart shaped out of silver, with no filling in the middle. Several diamonds circled on one side of the heart, while the other was just left blank. She chose simple silver hoop earrings to match, and just plain flats to wear for shoes.
As Felicity worked on getting her skirt on, someone knocked on the door. She looked up, ready to tell them to buzz off, but then the door opened. Bray’s head peeped in, and Fay’s face flushed red. Any other girl would have reacted the same way. Honestly, she was sitting in the room with only a skirt and bra on, and her guy friend just happened to peep in at the wrong time. “GET OUT!” She nearly shrieked as she tossed a pillow at him. Her arm tried to cover her exposed skin as the other worked to send a barrage of pillows over to the boy. He grumbled some response, and she sent another sailing.
She waited until she heard him walk down the stairs before she relaxed. Fay finished getting dressed, slipped on her necklace, and glanced in the mirror. Her hair was left down, and had a slight curl to it. She caught a piece in between her fingers, and a small grin slid across her face. Well, time to go. Fay turned around and walked out of the door to her room, before disappearing out the common room door.
Finding the actual place wasn’t very hard, Bray had described it well enough. She bounced into the door, with a wave to the bar tender of course. Scanning the crowd, she noticed Maxi’s blond locks first, honestly that boy grew taller by the day. Fay walked over there, and saw Bray standing in front of Max, grumbling something about her being a devil. She skipped forward, a smirk on her lips, and knocked Bray lightly in the side of the head. “Just because you could care less if you look like something the cat dragged in, pun intended, doesn’t mean the rest of us do.” Felicity looked back over to Max and Laney and flashed them a smile.
“So, what’ve you crazies been up to? Get into some more mayhem?”

After hearing word of the Graduation party in Hogsmeade she headed off through one of the many known "secret" passageways to get there, which landed her at the door, creeping hesitantly inside after receiving scorching glares from the patrons inside. Raising her hands up as if to silently assure them she wasn't a regular Snake--then again, when had they heard that before?--the Slytherin snuck inside and dodged a glass of beer that was thrown at her. She contemplating leaving, if this was how everyone was going to treat her, but then saw Bryn's face in the crowd and shot towards him, relieved. "Bryn!" She exclaimed, clinging on to his arm with wide, terrified eyes. "Make them stop." She whispered shakily, and gestured over her shoulder to a few raised cups and cranked arms that suggested things were going to get thrown, and big time.
Glancing around the assembled Hogwarts students with a cautious look on her face--many of them were known to hate Snakes, especially Bryn and his sister--Cairo half-expected them to throw her out on her face. Hopefully some of them had witnessed where the snakes had picked on her and remember she wasn't like them. No, she was their target. "Uh.." She muttered, staring at the ground to avoid their scrutiny. Maybe she could convince the Headmaster to have her switch houses?

Soon without warning her twin came from nowhere and moved her out the way. In shock, she just stared at him in disbelief as he stuck his tongue out at her playfully. Well, it seemed he wasn't in a mood tonight, meaning Brooke was going to play nice for once, for Bryn's sake.
"Yes please, dear brother" she smirked accepting his offer of a drink. They had been falling out a lot recently, and it made a change to not be at each others throats for the first time in weeks. To Brooke, Bryn was becoming more controlling by the hour, and she would never see herself as going off the rails.
Looking around, she noticed the arrival of the Ravenclaw twins, well they pretty much should be they were always inseperable. She hadn't spoken to them much, but she smiled at them before looking in the other direction. For once Brooke was being quiet and feeling out of her depth, NOT how she wanted to feel tonight of all nights, she just hoped the night would bring her many of her friends to have fun with. As Cairo stepped in Brooke flashed her a smile before realising what she was doing and simply giving her a nod.

Laney's foot started tapping to the music in the background as she waited for everyone. She was wearing a pair of faded blue jeans with holes in the knees and a black v-neck t-shirt. If she was gonna have fun, she was definitely going to be comfortable. The door opened and in came Maxi and Laney's face lit up. "Um, yeah. Whatever's fine," she answered him with a smirk.
After Max came Brooke and before she could even answer her, Bryn replaced her spot. Carolanne couldn't help but laugh at the two. Typical siblings, twins none the less, but frankly, Laney didn't miss it, she had enough on her plate as it was.
Shortly after the twins Bray entered with Fay just slightly behind him. It was good to see the two again after the falling out a while back. They hadn't changed much except for Bray becoming more sarcastic and Fay being more.... well lets just say with Ash out of her life, Fay looked a lot happier.
"Oh come on Fay, like we'd cause that much trouble," she said with a semi-innocent grin. Of course, with these kids, trouble was a daily event; one that could never be avoided but she was glad they were back together, even for this one night.
She turned to Bray and smiled, "So how are you and Ellie? Is she coming later?" she wasn't trying to pry, she was only trying to make small talk with the Boy.

As two more people joined the crew, he knew by face and talk to be Bradyn Reed and Felicity Locke. Quite well known by now anf if Bryn wasnt mistaken, old friends of Max's, but they all seemed alright with eachother now so thats all that mattered, either they had patched things up or like Bryn and Brooke, were putting their differences aside tonight. A good party was just what the doctor ordered anyway, got to love his doctor who must know nothing about health if he advised Bryn to get drunk more. Giving the two a smile, Bryn turned his attention back to his sister who said she would love a drink, of course what else could he have expected from her?
As he went to go to the bar, he heard a shriek of his name and something suddenly clung to his arm, making Bryn jump, looking down he instantly knew those eyes, those eyes which were more often than not full of fear, shame really, Cairo was a nice lass. Turning to see where she was motioning, a few people he recognised, waving a hand to them, they lowered their glasses. If Bryn, a well known Slytherin hater, was sticking up for one then she musnt be all that bad right? Smiling down at Cairo, he offered her his arm, "Come on, lets go and get some drinks."
When he got to the bar he looked at her, "I didnt expect to see you here," He said truthfully with a grin, "Nice surprise though." Turning to the bar, he ordered a firewhisky for himself, a coctail for Brooke and, "Whatever this lass wants aswell, stick it on there." He smiled as the barman stood for a moment, awaiting Cairo's answer to what she wanted.

Well, Max was going to tell Brooke they were fine, but since Bryn got in the way all Max could do was laugh. He knew what it was like to be a sibling, but truth, he didnt know how it was to be as close as Bryn and Brooke were, but he would have agreed with Brooke, Bryn can be a little overprotective of her from time to time. Maybe Bryn was just scared of her ending up like some of the females in this place, the ones who threw themselves at anyone. That actually reminded him a lot of, nah nevermind. This was a time of fun, not nasty thoughts. So pushing that one aside, he let go of Laney and stood up, just intime to see Bray and Max felt the same awkwardness he had felt when he had been trying to help Bray get away from an evil cat lady. "She cant be that bad." Max answered him, running a hand through his blonde hair, "I can think of people who would suit that title a lot better than Fay would."
Speaking of the devil, so to speak. Fay arrived soon after. Well, it wasnt that difficult to spot Max in a crowd now was it, you just looked for the tall blonde thing and you were fine. Of course, being as tall as he was, he thought everyone else was small, especially Bray. How many times had they bantered about their height differences? Still, it used to cause Max to laugh a bunch when he saw Bray get all defensive over his size, like Max, it wasnt his fault he was so small was it? "Is there any more females you want to rile up this week Bray?" He asked him, tone surprised and half thinking Bray had some form of deathwish this week. Still, it wouldnt surprise him if people had taken Brays sarcasm seriously.
"Us?" Max asked, almost innocently, "Mayhem? Never in my life have I gotten into Mayhem, never have and never will." Giving a roll of his eyes, Max smiled. The three of them back when they could call themselves close would always be in some form of mischief, or certainly on their way there. Now it seemed they were either growing up, getting old, or just becoming dull. Shaking his head, Max decided it was neither of them. "Right, bar time." Smirking he added to the crowd, "Dont miss me too much!"
Getting to the bar was easy, but he doubted it would be later, tapping his chin with his finger as the barman came upto him, Max gave off a cheeky grin. Something he had never grew out of. "Lets see," He mumbled as he looked at the selections, "Two firewhiskys, and two..." He chewed on his bottom lips, "Coctails with a bit of everything in, and two of those umbrella thingies." Waiting on his order, he paid up and went back, setting the drinks on the table before he spilled them, almost falling over Brays foot first though, he smiled, "Now that was definatly skill." He laughed, before picking up a firewhisky and handing it to Bray, then giving the Coctails to Laney and Fay. "What is it they say?" He asked, "Bottoms up or something?"

Bray just smirked a bit and shook his head at Max's comments on people being more of the devil than Fay, he was quite sure that it was Erys he'd been referring to. Only, knowing her, that might be a title that she was proud of. "Nah, Fay's the devil." He said after catching her coming towards them. Eh, now they could watch her display her demonic qualities. Whack to the head, it normally wouldn't have hurt but Bray wasn't exactly in the peek of his health, more of battered and bruised and he had to put a hand to the spot and send a quick glare towards her.
"That's not exactly helping your case for, not being the devil, you know." He said, actually being serious opposed to his usual sarcasm. Of course, Fay was just peachy to everyone else so they wouldn't really notice his case. 'Psht, I see how it is.' While rolling his eyes at their modest responses of not being troublemakers. "What, are you too old to have fun now?" Bray said with a smirk to show that it wasn't meant to be as cruel as it sounded.
"Uhh?" He said with a brow raised to Laney's comment but figured she was just being nosy like most girls were. "We're going through a tiny rough patch, but I think she's coming later. At least, I asked her to." He said honestly, figuring that if she prodded on what they were fighting about he could just ignore her.
As soon as Max skipped off to get them some drinks, he turned to Fay with a scowl. "A cat pun? Really, I thought you would've ran out of those by now!" Sure, he acted like they didn't bother him but when you've heard every one in the book, it got a little irritating. "Plus, that was an accident. I knocked first!" Well, sort of knocked but how was he supposed to know that she wasn't dressed yet. Most people didn't sit around in their dorms half naked... not that he saw much between the assault on his head, Fay sure had an arm on her.
But when Max returned he dropped the arguement, for now, since he didn't really want to look like he fought with everyone he came across. The lad already saw him get beat on by the beast, might as well put some distance between his spats.
"Oh yeah, it takes a lot of skill to almost trip over someone who's standing still." He said while taking the offered drink and taking a sip before chuckling at Fay. Bray'd have to keep an eye on her drinking, wouldn't want everyone to meet the drunk veela. She was frightening.

Felicity grinned angelically toward Bray in response to his glare. It wasn’t her fault that he hadn’t told her about his little escapade with the crazy cat queen. Well, she kind’ve assumed considering the scratches, but still. It was his fault that he didn’t tell her. Stupid macho man attitude. Fay stuck her tongue out at him and turned back to smiling at Max and Laney. Sometimes it seemed that she was a five year old stuck in a sixteen year old body (That’s right, sixteen, because her birthday was in May).
“Bray, if I were the devil, you’d have more than a bruise on your head.” She glanced back over to him and raised an eyebrow in a challenge. Wasn’t funny how they often were locked in battles like these? A battle of wits and a battle of…well…sarcasm. It must be entertaining for everyone else. “Oh please. You can’t honestly expect me to believe that you’ve done nothing that hasn’t broken some law? If you haven’t I think we need to get you a little drunk and take you for an adventure then. Don’t you agree Bray?”
Rough patch translated to Bray bluntly told his animal phobic girlfriend that he was an animagus. Yay…She flicked her gaze back to Bray and smiled. “I told her she should come and spend some time with us. I haven’t seen the girl outside of class. She’s always so busy studying. And I’m not a very good study partner.” Truth be told, Fay tended to wander away from the subject and rant on other things that came to her mind.
Fay crossed her arms and sent him a glare. “Most people don’t just barge into the room without a response! How was I supposed to…prepare myself in time eh?” Her cheeks flushed red at the thought of it and she darted her gaze quickly away. Felicity’s lips were pursed in annoyance, and she clenched her jaw, silently cursing herself for the flash of color on her cheeks. Stupid impatient Bray.
Maxi returned, shifting Fay’s mind away from the…er…incident. A grin broke along her face and she took the drink. “Thanks Max! But you didn’t have to buy me a drink you know, I could’ve helped you pay.” She swirled the little umbrella…thing around the drink, before taking a drink of it. Hearing Bray’s chuckle, she glanced over to him and smiled sheepishly. Taking another drink, she turned back and stuck her tongue out at him again and giggled. Too bad Fay had a low tolerance for alcohol. Well, at least she was fun at parties!

A party. Oh heavens, Ellie was venturing off to a party. Bray had asked her to go to some Graduation Party for everyone, and Ellie knew that it was probably going to be a blow out.
Ellie wasn't sure about going. Yes, Bray would be there, and of course he wouldn't let anything horrible happen to her, and Fay would be there and she would let the other horrible things that Bray neglected happen to her. So, she was sure she was safe, but she was still nervous.
Ellie wasn't sure what to wear. She wanted to look good, you know, show herself off to Bray's friends. Was that sad, I feel like it might be... anyway, Ellie spent the whole day trying to perfect the look. Her housemates groaned when they walked in the room every so often to get something. Ellie's clothes basically covered everything. She couldn't help it, she needed a full view in which to choose the correct outfit.
After hours of preparation and even a plea to Fay, who was busy getting ready herself, Ellie finally walked down to the common room, ready to go. She had decided on a dress and flip flops... it could have gone either way. When she finally got downstairs, it was a little later then she had hope for, but it didn't matter. Foreseeing the problem, Ellie had told Bray that she would meet him there, if she ever got the nerve to walk out the portrait hole at all.
Ellie did. She walked down and through the streets and finally to the party destination. Ellie smiled as she immediatly saw Bray and Fay, fighting as usual. She walked over, her wavy hair down over her shoulders, and her usually clean face freshly done up with light makeup. She smiled as she reached Bray, putting her hand on his arm. "Hey!" She said brightly, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Fay!" She said, and she opened her arms and gave her a big hug before her friend could catch her in a death grip. She smiled and laughed. "So, how the party going?"

Post by Aidan and Derryl Parkhurst on Jul 31, 2008 11:46:03 GMT
Here came trouble, in suit jackets and jeans, no less.
The party had been advertised all around the school and more then anywhere in the Slytherin Common Room. It seemed that the Slytherins were really looking forward to a decent blow out and the Parkhurst twins could only laugh at it. It was typical of Slytherins to be all bark and no bite but these two would be biting, showing what true Slytherins are really like. It was only right that they carry to torch of those that went before them.
They made their way out of the castle in good time, their pockets filled with ... well, that would be telling but you will find out in good time. They looked rather smart but their mess of blond hair did manage to peg them down into the smart casual category. Aidan was in a dark maroon striped shirt with his black suit jacket, jeans and black and white All Stars. Derryl had gone for a different look and was wearing a dark brown T-shirt with an emerald green tie and his own black suit jacket and black shoes, where his jeans were dark blue but white washed in some places. It was clear that they had put effort into their clothing but being the proud Slytherins they were it was typical.
When they got to Hogsmeade they got slightly sidetracked though by the Quidditch supply shop. Their sister, Laura, had been saying she wanted to try out for the team but she didn't have a decent broom and so didn't feel very confident about it. It had become a topic of much discussion between the two boys whether they should buy her one themselves or get their parents of Russell to do it. They must have stood by the window talking very loudly for at least half an hours before they realised they weren't where they were supposed to be.
When they entered the Club the first thing they noticed was all the students sitting and standing together to one side and that was where they headed first. Neither of the twins were very big on the whole drinking scene - they always felt that if you couldn't have fun as you are, you didn't deserve it - so they went straight past the bar to the group. There were people the twins knew from classes, like the Hufflepuff Ellie and the two Claw friends she was always with. Naturally they recognised the Slytherin that was with them. And then there were the older students who they knew from their faces but nothing more then that.
Seeing a chance to start the evening off an a high, Aidan, walking ahead of his brother, bent down and took Ellie's hand, pulling her towards him, spinning her once, before dipping her and holding her there for a moment. 'Evening, gorgeous.'
Derryl, always the more controlled on, simply jumped out from behind his brother and the Puff, arms raise high about his head and shouted, 'the entertainment has arrived. We'll be here all evening!' He dropped his arms and winked at an older blond - being Carolanne, mind - and winked. 'Please, no autographs.'
