One whole week has passed since the proposal had taken place at the grounds of Hogwarts. The whole things was still like a daydream. The moment replay over and over in her head. People started to accuse her of loosing focus, work was a task now because wedding bells were on her mind. Most days were spent sitting behind a desk and daydreaming about the dress, the venue, the flowers, the food, the photographer, the bridesmaids. All those things took planning. Even now there was a pile of papers on her desk none had been touched. Today she was seeing Tyson so that was double the reason to not pay attention.
Lunch time rolled around Shay was the first one out the door. She walked so fast the others had to move out of her way. She was a woman determined to see her man. Nothing to stop her and if anybody tried she'd knock them on their arse. Once outside, it was a quick walk to the Leaky. The place was empty well almost, against the wall there were two people covered in veils so their faces were masked from everyone. On a normal day this would have made her suspicious today they didn't bother her.
Ordering a soda she waited for him. A book in her hand, the wedding book. The thing barely left her side it was already looking worn. The pictures in there were of various things, dresses, flowers, and everything she needed for her special day, Tyson wasn't the wedding planning type but he made the effort for her. He did a lot for her and that's why she adored him so much. The book was getting thicker and thicker, it was about two inches thicker then the last time.
It was still so hard to believe that she was finally going to tie the knot. Tie it to someone she loved for most of her life. When she told her parents they couldn't have been happier for her, her mother cried for an hour just so happy her daughter found love.
The door to the Leaky opened, sunlight poured in and there he was. No mistaking that handsome face she could pick it out of a crowd in the dark. Tyson White her future. The school girl part of her didn't die, each time he was near she got giddy her heart raced and the goofy grin on her face needed to be removed by some form of magic because she couldn't get rid of it on her own.
