The hour was late, the moon cast its pale silvery glow upon the ground, and stars sparkled above. Wind whispered through the trees, branches swaying gently. Suddenly, from nowhere, a cloaked figure appeared. The only noise upon the silent night air was the soft sound of her breathing and the rustling of leaves as she pushed past the first branches. Angelina stepped into the dark forest, leaves and twigs crunched underfoot as she walked towards the tree where Angel was to meet her. Angelina sighed impatiently as she waited for her friend. A low clap of thunder made her look up, just as a flash of lightning streaked across the sky, “Oh great, just what I needed.” She grumbled. She sighed once more; at least she had her cloak! And she was actually wearing sensible clothes for once. Emerald green tank top, black jeans, and black sneakers, she smiled to herself; to be honest, she loved storms. The raw majestic power, the unexplainable mystery, the sound of thunder as it crashed overhead, the flash of lighting as it streaked across the otherwise black sky. Storms really were beautiful things. Not that many people would find it normal to think that. Then again, Angelina wasn’t what you would call normal.
Her senses were more heightened than most. It was something she’d been born with. She wasn’t a ‘seer’ per say, she just had a heightened sense of…intuition. For a girl who’d been raised in the heart of Venice, Italy, Angelina was surprisingly in tune with nature. She knew when a storm was brewing before the first clap of thunder, she could sense when animals were scared or upset, and she could sense when the ancient trees were trying to tell her something. Although, she could never quite figure out exactly what it was they were trying to tell her.
Angelina sighed once more, as she waited impatiently, it had been nearly thirty minutes already! Where was that girl!? Suddenly, the crunch of leaves made her look towards her right, “Angel? Is that you?” she whispered softly, taking a step forward. It better be Angel! She’d been waiting for almost thirty minutes!

Angel had agreed. There was nothing more to it than that. No matter what Angel was a woman of her word if she said she was going to do something she was going to do it. So she changed into black jeans, a form fitting collared shirt in turquoise blue, with a pair of black sneakers. Throwing on her robes she didn't bother to check her appearance in the mirror before leaving, there was no need she could wear a potato sack and still be the most stunning girl in the room. Slipping her hair into a ponytail on her way out of her room she didn't take much of a glance at the others around the common room even when she could hear so many calling out to her.
The halls in the dungeons were poorly lit, the candles barely casting an eerie glow as a lone figure walked noiselessly across the floor. Angel kept her eyes and ears open hoping that she wouldn't be seen in the din glow. Glowing eyes peered out at her from around a corner, she knew those eyes all too well and she simply hissed at the nosy cat bent on catching students out of bed. The cat was no match for the Slytherin girl walking and sensing that it slunk away once again leaving Angel alone.
Climbing the stairs her head peeked out of the doorway making sure no prefects were wandering the halls waiting to catch naughty students sneaking about. After seeing that the coast is clear Angel ran up walking swiftly to the door she opened it quietly and could immediately feel the difference in temperature. Wrapping her cloak tighter around her Angel walked with a purpose she had someone waiting for her someone she had promised to meet in the forest.
The nearer she got to the forest the faster her heart bet. As she entered she could already sense the difference. The air was different and soon enough the stars and the moon were barely visible through the thick heavy branches. As she walked her sneakers treaded on some dry leaves making a sound. She hoped not to disturb anyone or anything that didn't want to be disturbed, but she still walked on. The smell of rain ripe in the air, not that she minded the rain would be welcomed in this place it would make it seem more normal to her.
Her eyes glanced up and saw a figure an unmistakable figure. Angelina Gomez her fellow Slytherin waiting right where she said she'd be. "Interesting meeting place" came her first remark as she smirked wickedly at the other girl.

(( "she could wear a potato sack and still be the most stunning girl in the room" -- unless Angelina was in the room! Then she'd have some competiton! lol ;D))
A dark smile crossed Angelina's face. "I must say Ms. Juliette, I was starting to have doubts about whether or not you'd come. I see however, that I was mistaken. You're a woman of your word. I like that." she said in her soft Italian- accented voice. She smiled again, mischief and adventure gleaming in her chocolate brown orbs. "Are you ready for a night of chills and thrills?" she asked. She needed to be sure that Angelique was up for this.
Angelina was not a girl who took danger and adventure lightly. This girl was a daredevil! She took risks in a way that would give you coronary failure, and she was never afraid to try something new. To her, the more danger, the better!
Pulling her emerald cloak tighter around her, she turned on the heel of her boot, cloak swishing behind her. "Keep up, and don't wander off." she called over her shoulder, walking off in a brisk manner. This was no time to be playing around, the forest was dangerous, even for her. And they needed to be on their guard at all times.
"So, how have you been lately?" she asked curiously, tone switiching from slightly commanding, to conversational. A slight breeze blew through the trees, stirring her hair, a faint scent of jasmine filled the air. "Hmm..must be jasmine somewhere around here." she murmured to her self. "Or it could be my perfume... oh well."

((LMAO I'll remember to keep that in mind if the two are in the same room))
Angelique had no idea what was to come. Perhaps that's why she had shown up a little sense of adventure, school had been such a bore lately, all the classes didn't quite challenge her the way she'd liked so she couldn't help not paying much attention. This left her feeling bored more often than not. This in turn made her a bit cranky because she was in need of something to do.
Now apparently Angelina was offering that to her. She glanced around perhaps hoping some cute boy would jump out of the bushes and yell surprise. She couldn't sense anyone else but the two of them though, so that dream died. So what was going on?
Angelina began to walk away. They were going deeper into the forest. Angelique quirked a brow as she was told to keep up. Trying to cover up a smirk she bit her bottom lip, then pulled her cloak further around her body and began to follow the dark haired girl.
The blonde continued to follow feeling completely invigorated for the first time in weeks. Even when Angelina asked her how she was doing Angel simply smiled, "Well I've been bored out of mind at school so this happens to be a nice change of pace. It might even be nicer if I knew where we were going" she said jokingly. "How about you, how are you doing Miss Gomez?"

Angelina shivered slightly as a cold wind blew through the trees. Why she hadn't thought to bring her sweater was beyond her! She smiled, listening to the sounds of the forest. The crunch of every leaf, the snap of every twig, the rustling of bushes as the creatures scurried back and forth. Lost in her own little world, she barely heard Angel's question. "Hmm? Oh, I'm fine. Just bored. Can't wait to get the hell out of this place." she replied.
She turned and smirked at the other girl, "As for where we're going? I honestly have no clue! I figured we'd be spontaneous. Let adventure find us. It's more fun that way." she said with a grin.
A clap of thunder. The young girl looked up at the sky, as it was illuminated with lightining, a smile tugged at her lips. She looked down and smiled at her friend, eyes glittering in anticipation. "It's here." she said in an excited whisper as a sudden torrent of rain crashed through the leafy canopy nearly drenching her. The storm, had arrived.

It didn't take very long for Angel to want to whine. It was getting cold, her feet were starting to hurt and she had already snagged her robes on pleanty of branches. Suddenly this night of cool adventure was turning into some sort of hike, Angel didn't do hikes. She wasn't the outdoorsy sort unless there were servants and such to do her bidding. Somehow she manged to keep her mouth shut and not start acting like her usual spoiled self.
When Angelina turned Angelique thought it would be to tell her where they were headed, maybe with the idea of a destination in mind this wouldn't feel so much like unnecessary work. Angel was quickly out of breath, a drawback of not working out as she should, she simply hated overexertion. As soon as Angelina spoke Angel's mood wasn't lightened.
Suddenly there was a clash of thunder, soon lightning would follow and sure enough a few moments later a bright flash of light streaked across the sky. Soon there would be rain and they were out there with no idea where they were headed. Had it not been for her curiosity she might well have simply turned and walked away. Soon the rain started lucky the trees around them were thick so that she didn't get wet much. "We should have invited some boys" she thought out loud, a couple of cuties to keep them warm might not have been so bad. At that she smiled.
