Sunshine. What a beautiful word. Yellow, shiney, hot, smothering, sweet, golden... only happy words describe the sun. It was one of Melusine's favorite objects to think about, because it always made her jumpy inside. Nothing beat the sun. It was what made everything possible. Life on Earth... an inch too close or an inch too far and we'd all be dead. It takes your fears of darkness or tightly packed spaces away. Melly couldn't find anything better to love than the sun.
Shaded by a big huge oak tree, Melusine sat legs stretched out underneath. About five books scattered out around her and threeor four rolls of parchement. She brought a quill and two ink bottles. Melly was in need of some major homework catching up, but just wasn't in the mood, but prepared if it triggered in her mind any time soon. She sighed and thought about what her professors would say if they caught her slacking off. Not a good sight at all!
Melusine was done thinking about the sun, life, how it all gets harder as you grow up. Melly wanted to stay seventeen forever, it seemed well suitable and she would never have to leave Hogwarts. She thought about all of the stuff it's taught her over the years. This school was the best thing that's ever happened to her. She couldn't just abandon it! Transfiguration was a big deal that Hogwarts helped her overcome and she even became an animegus because of it. Smiling proudly at her accomplishments Melly grinned and then thought hard and morphed into a golden sparrow.
Glancing around through her new eyes Melusine envied her own vision. Why couldn't she have it in human for too? Looking at her books and supplies on the ground she didn't care. She needed to stretch her wings and get a breath of fresh air, so she mounted and was off. Melly gazed at the beautiful lush grass and the rippling springs of the lake. It was beautiful and such a sight from her view. Now she was starving, things like this just happened at the exact wrong time. Melusine closed her eyes and landed with a thud on the ground. She morphed in mid-air.... Cool! But now she was feeling the aftershock in her backside. Ouch! She scooted up against the tree and endured the pain.

Stephanie looked up from where she was sitting across the lawn there was another girl sitting down. Stephanie believed that she was a seventh year in Hufflepuff, but she wasn't sure. She sat under a big oak tree with a quill and a parchment in front of her. She was writing a note to Bryn, who she had a crush on, but won't admit it.
Steph looked at the clear blue sky, with the fluffy white clouds in place, the freshly cut light green grass and the smell of oak and pine intertwined in the scent of fresh air. Stephanie breathed in and out and it felt nice. The air seemed perfect it wasn't cold or hot, but warm it was the perfect weather. The yellow sun was as bright as could be witch mad the day seem a lot more greatfull.
Stephanie looked down at her parchment and read it in a whisper tone. "Dear Bryn, I don't know how to tell you this, so I will just come right out and tell you. I think your amazing you are a great friend and I just truly wish our relationship could move up. Will you be my boyfriend? Love, Stephanie Willmon"
Stephanie then rolled the parchment up and tied it with a string sending her owl Honeyoak to give it to him. Well sent it to the owlery of course. She sat back after sending it and began to think. She noticed the girl reading across from her and decided to go make small talk with her.
Stephanie stood up and walked over to where the girl was sitting down reading. She cleared her throat and began to talk. "Hello, I am Stephanie Willmon, I am a fifth year in Gryffindor, and you are? Stephanie said sweet and friendly. Stephanie loved making new friends and hoped this girl would be one of them.

The sun was not helping Melusine anymore. Her back, butt, and neck ached from her fall. Why had this happened to her? What had she done to deserve it? Better yet had anyone seen? Melly sat back and tried to breath in and out without over doing it, but it wasn't working. She was in real need of some water and chocolate. That would make her feel better! She curled up, but that made it worse so she stretched instead. That hurt like hell, but then again in the long run it was probably helping.
After touching her toes a few times Melusine looked up to find a young Gryffindor, probably a low-life, bounding toward her. Oh great, must be searching for friends, possibly a fifth year. Melly tried to guess it all before she reached her, but was unsuccessful. The girl bent down and began to talk. Melusine put on a smile and began to fake it best she could. Stephanie Willmon huh... Gryffindor fifth year ay... Mel knew it. Melusine looked up and squeeled,"Hello... Melusine Beauxmon, Hufflepuff seventh year..." What did this girl want? She couldn't possibly be wanting to make friends with someone so much older would she? Probably had boy problems; Melly could see it now!
Melusine couldn't help herself. The vision of her coaching this little Steph girl through a relationship was just too funny. She glanced up and giggled. Hopefully the girl wouldn't notice. Had she really not seen what had just happened, how Melusine had just fallen from the sky? Well Melly wished she had caught a glimpse of what she had been up to across the lawn.

Stephanie then realized the girl was sitting down, because she fell. Opps, how could Steph be so dumb. Could it be the fact she just wanted help, but didn't want to go to her brother or the fact that she was having family trouble and boy trouble. She needed someone to vent her feelings to and Melusine was the only one around at the time.
"The truth is I am having trouble and I really need your help, but I understand if you don't want to help me. We run in different circles, but I need the help and I have no one else to go to. Steph stuttered. She didn't feel good now, she felt lost like nothing was ever the same and she noticed Mel deep into thought, but she didn't want to ask why.

The sun was going deeper and deeper overhead, which meant that noon was approaching. That thought did not help Melusine's stomach. She was now in dying need of food, water, and a back massage. Plus she also had this ranting fifth year Gryffindor following her around. Great! This couldn't possibly be happening, but sadly it was and Melly was going to stick with it and get through it.
Sighing, Mel pulled herself up against the tree, so she wasn't laying down as much. Melusine pulled a few of her books together and began stacking them one by one by one. It didn't waste too much time, since there were only five of them, but then she moved on to the parchment, and then supplies. This would last forever. Melusine was about to leave when the girl started spilling why she really came over. Melly wanted to start crying or even jumping up and pointing at the girl yelling 'I knew it, I knew it', but decided against it. Melusine should really looking into being a mind-reader or something since she seemed to be so good at it.
Smiling to herself and Stephanie she looked at her and said,"So you came over here because your having boy troubles eh?" Seemed pretty reasonable that she had chosen Melly to spill to. She was gorgeous, older, and probably looked experienced, but what did she know? Anyhow, Melusine just stared at the girl waiting for the answer. It seemed as if Stephanie had totally fallen off the planet. Not a good way to act when you're first meeting someone. Mel noted it in her brain.

Stephanie looked up at the sky and then realized it must be noon, but she didn't care all she wanted to do was vent her feelings. Why did she choose this girl though, because she looked smart and understandable. Stephanie looked at her feet and the back at the girl. She was starving, but she didn't dare mention it, because that could get her in trouble. She was raised to where if you where talking with an elder and they told you, you couldn't do something you can't do it until released or given premisson.
"Yes, I am having boy trouble and family trouble." She whispered. She didn't want to vent her feelings to someone she knew, because they would blackmail her if they knew about Bryn or Kyle and his girlfriend. She would talk to her mom, but her mom would say she is to young and she knew she wasn't that young. She wanted to get this over with and maybe if this helped she could ask Mel for more advice, but that would have to be if she was willing to advise her.

The sun started going down. This was going to be a long day. It was just passed noon and Melusine hadn't eaten anything all day. How terrible, if anyone knew Melly was all about her food. Giggling at that too, it made Mel feel like a pig, but who cares, a girl needs her food! Melusine looked at Stephanie... so helpless and low-life... Mel was right about that too. There just wasn't anyone better at reading people than her.
She looked the girl straight in the face with a wicked grin on her face,"Tell me all about it honey!" Melusine was the best at love triangles and crushes, helped her friends out of them all the time, but she herself hadn't had a boyfriend since her third year and that was a whole 'nuther story. "Who are the boys..." Melly mused on. It was sort of intresting. This could be fun who knew? But if the girl didn't start talking Melusine was out of here and ready for some lunch food!

[[Night love ya Lauren]]
Stephanie glanced around and the stared back at Mel, "I like a boy named Bryn and he's in Gryffindor, but I'm afraid if he finds out from someone besides me then he won't like me and my brother won't let me date anyone and his girlfriend makes me her personal slave basically and since my brother is in charge of me, I have to do whatever she says. Stephanie whispered while taking a deep breath afterwards.
She didn't like the fact she told a random girl and hope this didn't come back to hurt her, but if it did then she wouldn't mind, because she would do anything for advice. "All I want is advice, I will do anything she wants if she gives me advice, because I need it. I will do the worst thing possible as long as I get advice. Stephanie thought outloud.

The sun was completely hidden by the trees now. That didn't help Melusine get through this, so her next thought was rainbows. Of course rainbows weren't all that great, because Melly hated the rain, it was her birdie side, but whatever if you think about it the Irish way it means luck and wealth... who hated that? Rainbows were beautiful in Mel's opinion. Every stationary color imaginable... pretty and bright! Melusine loved it.
Melusine sighed. Great, just great. Now Stephanie wanted to get involved with the Kennedys'. Not such a good idea, especially going after one of the twins. Melly wasn't so much into the whole family stick together thing, but she did know Alicia Kennedy and found her to be one of the sweetest girls around, but what was Melly supposed to do? One of her bestest long term friends was developing a crush on Bryn also and would be running to her for advice like she always did. Ugh, love triangles are terrible! No wonder Melusine could care less about who likes who and who's dating who... it was all a big waste of time.
A yawn escaped Melly's gaping mouth and she looked up at the girl. "So you want advice... well what makes you think I have advice? How do you know I know anything about love?" Melusine asked politely. 'Cause really Mel was beautiful, sweet, charming, everything an almost Hufflepuff graduate would be... but hey who knew. Melusine hated the word love. She'd never been hurt by a guy, but never been unconditionally loved by one either. What had she done to get involved with this.
Melusine thought a minute and decided she would help her without disclosing any information. "Let's get started... have a seat." Melly instructed her and waited a moment or two for her to plop down in the dirt.

The sun was completely hidden by the trees now. It was setting fast, and growing colder by the minute. Stephanie enjoyed the cold a lot more then the hot, but oh well. Stephanie was unsure what to do anymore she wanted to trust Mel, but now she was starting to not trust this girl. Afraid that she might turn her into something she is not.
Why was Stephanie like this? She normally didn't have boy troubles or family troubles, but tonight she was about to die. She was tired of her drama and she wanted it to stop. Sometimes she wished that it would go away, just go away and never bug her again, but she couldn't get this feeling out of her body, it was like a feeling she never had before and it was a feeling of regret. She looked at the sky and wished she was dreaming. She wished she was in her happy spot where she goes every night and that she wants to be a good taken in a relationship, happy family mood and feeling right now, but she wasn't. Instead she was hurt and there was no feeling that was worst then hurt, except regret, witch was mixed with her hurt feelings.
"So you want advice... well what makes you think I have advice? How do you know I know anything about love?" "You look like the girl that would know. Your smart, pretty, sweet and everyone gets along with you so I figured you must have a love life, but you know Bryn and his family they are together they stand by each others side and my family doesn't do that anymore, witch makes it harder to get to know Bryn. Bryn doesn't strike me as the type that wants a girlfriend and a year younger then him, at that." Stephanie let out.
"Let's get started... have a seat." "It's dirty though, I would get all dirty" Stephanie insisted, she began to wonder if Mel was going to force her to sit down or just let her stand. She didn't want her self to get put into a situation where she was practically someone's slave, but for advice she might just have to.
