Insomnia on occasion sucked, why because Lana wasn't doing well in her classes. Sometimes she would sleep through the first class which was why she was failing it terribly, she needed to find something to do to help her sleep. Instead of trying to find ways, she found herself walking around the school cautiously and trying not to get caught by the Professors, or even worse, the Headmaster. Making her way out to the grounds and toward the lake, it was a peaceful night out tonight, but it felt like a freaking party was up in her head. Her thoughts raced through her mind, thoughts of life in general. Like what she would do after she completed Hogwarts, what sort of occupation would she get into, starting a family. She was a little short of meeting the expectations of everything so far, so what was the point of even thinking about things like that.
A gentle sigh came from the brunette girl as she took a seat by the waters edge, her brown eyes skimmed over the surface of the lake, taking in the reflection of the night sky filled with stars. Lana closed her eyes trying to ease her mind of all the racing thoughts she had. The wind blew softly over the grounds, caressing the young girl like a sheet of silk. Her long brown hair whirled around her shoulders as it died down a little more. Opening her eyes back up, Lana scanned the grounds for life, unfortunately it was too dark for her to see anything. Not even a silhouette to even catch a glimpse of one. Glancing back down in the water, she looked at her reflection noticing the small bags under her eyes. Rushing her fingers through the water to erase the reflection, she looked back up to hear a twig snap.
