Kieran was sat up in bed, listening to the small snores of the people in the Dorm Room. He was the one who said that he would wait up for eleven forty five to come around and then wake everyone else up. He hadnt banked on it being this dull. Eleven thirty passed by, so Kieran only had fifeen minutes before he had to wake everyone up so they could get dressed, at which point Kieran would have to run down to the lake and begin sorting everything out. It was about time they all did something fun, usually they did something like this in the first week, only a smaller group of them. Ollie had said it might be fun if they invited other people from different houses. So Kieran and Ollie had gone around passing out flyers about to get everyone to know. They even passed some to Slytherins, just to see if they would even show up.
Eleven forty five. "Alright Ladies!" Kieran shouted, going around to each bed pulling the covers off them, "Time to get this show on the road, anyone who would prefer to sleep than have fun, please stay behind." Then moving over to Ollie and Lucas, he violently shook the two of them, "Oy, get your lazy bonidle good for nothing butts out of this bed now before I shoot icy water at you." Kieran turned to the dorm room door and opened it, "Well if you're not there by five past, im coming to look for you." He warned and headed out of the Common Room and through the corridors.
Kieran was treading lightly, his cousin Nick had gave him some of the drinks from Club Motion. When Kieran had told him of this plan, Nick seemed to light up and offered to give Kieran whatever he wanted. He would have asked if they could have used the club, but that would have defeated the whole purpose of the lake night. It didnt take him long to get down here, and obviously Nick and kept his side of the deal. There were tables laid out, a small bar like area where people could pour their own drinks, a note attached to them, Kieran, these barrels are refillable, once empty they refil themselves so dont worry about running out, it wont happen. The music stand has been charmed to play whatever kinds of songs you want, Kieran looked up to where a set of speakers were, with what could only be described as chrismas lights surrounding them, What would you do without you cousin, have fun dude. Nick. As usual, he could count on Nick. He folded the sheet of paper up and slipped it into his pocket, the house elves had also lined up a bunch of food too, reliable little guys. There were tiki torches shoved into the ground, their flames lighting up the bank of the lake, apparently Nick had also put a charm around it so no professors would see the lights, or hear the noise so it was very unlikely they would get caught.
Kieran pulled the sheets off the food and grabbed one of the sandwhiches, these house elves sure knew how to do thier food, it was delicious whatever was on it. Then he went over to the set of speakers, as soon as he did they flared into life, pumping out some kind of upbeat music. After that was set, he walked over to where himself, Ollie and Lucas had put the wood for the campfire too. Pulling out his wand, he muttered a spell and soon the campfire blew into life. Now all that was needed was people to show up, and then the fun could really start.
"Welcome to the new term, a little late." He mumbled as he poured himself a drink.

He hadnt been able to sleep, he had heard about the gathering at the lake earlier and gone to find Paige to tell her about it. After he had handed her the flyer, convinced her it would be fun, they had agreed to meet and go down together. Much to Rosalie's amusement. She had wound him up royal style when he told her he was taking Paige, she must have thought that he would have taken Alice. He had tried to convince her that Alice was capable of taking herself, or some other random person, knowing her she would have taken Shaun, which might throw a dampener on his evening, but it wasnt like he needed to associate with Shaun.
Dante stood waiting by the window the two had had a full blown first conversation in front of. He wasnt dressed up, you didnt need to be really for things like this. His hands were on the window as he gazed out over to the lake, knowing it was charmed so people from the castle couldnt see it. Though, knowing Kieran and Ollie, they had probably gone all out tonight, like usual when they host things. You can guarentee it will either be completley stupid, or a lot of fun. Usually it was a mixture of both and Dante wasnt complaining.
Once Paige got there, he smiled at her and held his arm out for her to take, before making his way through the halls quietly so not to disturb any portraits or even worse, professors. The two walked in silence through the corridors, sound travels, especially at night when theres not many people for the soundwaves to get interferance from. It didnt take long for the two to get onto the lawns outside the castle, where Dante let out a long breath. Well that was something he didnt know he had been holding in. Turning to Paige he grinned, "Are you ready for your first unforgettable Hogwarts experiance?" It was clear Dante was also excited about this, "Kieran Davies and Ollie La'Roque are the ones who put this together, so dont expect anything 'cause knowing them, they'll surprise you."
Over the years of knowing those two Gryffindors, people learned to only expect the unexpected with them. The grass blades folded beneath the soles of his trainers as they walked over the grass. It was a clear night, the stars were out and it was quite warm too. Really, they couldnt have picked a better night. The tree's you had to cut through to get to the lake came into view, and Dante let his arm fall as he laced his hand in hers, "Come on," He smiled, lighting the tip of his wand only when they got inside. "The lakes just through here."
After a couple of minutes, they came out on the other side of the tree's and even Dante was impressed by what he saw. A good few rows of tables, a buffet table, and music, a keg. Obviously they wouldnt have a party without a keg, but they would have to be careful for the younger years. It looked like this place belonged in some kind of muggle tv show or something. The campfire burning wildly, and stood just beside it was Kieran. "You outdid yourself this time Kieran." He grinned as he poured both himself and Paige a drink. Handing it to Paige he smiled again, "So, what do you think Miss Matthews?"

Ever since that incident with the evil suits of armor trying to tear Bray and Fay limb from limb, she wouldn’t pass those things unless forced. Even then, she would sprint down the hallway and hope that her clumsiness would not be the death of her. Literally. Thank goodness for long legs, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to outrun those horrid little metal demons. She shuddered at the thought of them. Nearly being turned into a kabob tended to leave a mark on one’s conscious mind, she was still having nightmares about it.
Fay and Bray were taking extra precautions now when out on their rounds. Like, not putting on the boots of a fallen suit of armor, like the oh so brilliant kitty boy had done. Felicity decided to take the safer route tonight and do her round outside, away from the metal suits of armor. Outside in the dark probably wasn’t much better when it came to danger, but at least she could just run back into the school. And outside there wasn’t the chance that the paintings could laugh as you ran for your life. Stupid pieces of art.
Felicity twirled her wand in between her fingers as she walked, trying to focus on what was around her. It was surprisingly difficult, considering that everything that moved made her squeak, jump, and then resort to rapid flailing to scare it off. Yea, real smooth Fay. Grimacing as yet another animal dashed away from her, she tried to focus on something that wasn’t potentially dangerous. She was starting to wish that she hadn’t come out here alone. Stupid ego.
Something was glowing up ahead, which made her stop in her tracks. Oh no, it was something dangerous wasn’t it? Like a man-eating glow-in-the-dark dragon that could spew blue fire of death. Alright, it was official, she was crazy. Shaking her head, Felicity moved forward again, trying to squint her eyes against the light to actually see what it was. Her mind was flipping through thousands of rather unreasonable scenarios that all led to her ultimate demise. Bray was right; she was too morbid for her own good. Grimacing yet again, she edged closer to the area, silently wishing she could turn into a cat or something to sneak closer so she could remain unseen.
One of the sad things about her veela heritage was that she couldn’t stay away from attention. It was like some sort of quality that clung to absolutely every veela she knew. It was annoying, to say the least. Her mother basked in the attention, while Fay developed a severe annoyance for it. Today just had to be one of those days didn’t it? As she tried to edge closer, still trying to remain out of sight of course, two more students came out of practically no where and scared the living daylights out of her. So, naturally, she let out a small shriek, flailed a lot, and proceeded to trip over herself.
She landed, none too gracefully, within the glow of the torches. Fay grumbled into the ground, cursing her own stupid clumsiness. Whatever higher power found it hilarious to do this to her was going to get a severe kick in the arse when she found out whoever it was. Threats aside, Felicity stood up and brushed herself off, grumbling all the while. The fact that she was supposed to be frightened of the ominous glowing seemed to escape her mind as annoyance took its place. She glanced up after a moment, and her eyes widened a bit in response.
The whole placed was decked out with drinks, music, and an arrangement of other nonsense. Blinking, she slowly straightened herself up. “…What the hell is going on here?” It probably wasn’t a good thing that her prefects badge was shining on her chest as she stared, with a rather confused expression, at the other students.

Paige stayed up late, all the girls in her room were fast asleep. She wondered if any of them knew about that nights events. So far it didn't seem like it but some could have been feigning sleep waiting for the others to be completely under. No matter about them Paige had a boy to meet. Dante had shown her the flier for this evening festivities. Paige thought it would be a long time coming before she'd be invited to something like this. Nope she lucked out it was going down tonight and best of all Dante asked her to accompany him. That was probably the best part of all this going with Dante who she thought an absolute cutie.
She hadn't even told Rosa about this the two had seen each other in the Great Hall and did a lot of talking but Paige felt this was something all her own and she didn't want big sis impeding on her fun. So when Rosa asked if she was doing anything special of if she knew of anything special going on Paige lied. She felt bad for it later on but well Paige wanted an adventure all her own. Rosa didn't seem to know about it so Paige didn't run the risk of seeing there.
Throwing back the covers on her bed, still dressed in jeans and a t-shirt she thew on some kicks and went to meet Dante. Surely enough she found him staring at the window where they first had a conversation in front of. Paige kind of thought he might not show up but was pleasantly surprised he did. His arm around her Paige felt sort of special going to this illegal party with a cute boy on her arm. Not a bad way to start the term. He turned to her and asked if she was ready for this. Paige couldn't contain her smile of her excitement, "Yeah I've been looking forward to it all day. This should be so much fun right" she asked unsure.
Once outside Paige started to feel nervous. She would be meeting a whole bunch of new people she was just hoping they didn't think her weird or that they just simply didn't like her. Somehow acceptance seemed important to her now even though Dante seemed to accept her just fine. Looking over at him she sort of calmed herself. He told her to come on and she did her best to keep up. The lake was coming into view and he was right the boys throwing this went all out.
"Whoa" she let out right after he asked her what she thought.. Grabbing the drink he offered Paige's eyes darted around every inch, they went through so much work just for one night. This was well worth the risk. "This is highly impressive for sure" she said still in awe of what she was seeing. Things were going to be fun until she heard the words "What the hell is going on here?" Oh man were they about to get busted?

Prefect duties... those weren't mandatory now were they? Because Bray didn't exactly wander the halls in search of bad students. More like he walked aimlessly, trying not to listen to the sounds of paintings whispering and such. Mostly because he didn't want to hear the metallic tramp of boots that would just send him into hysteria. It was sad, but Fay and Bray had quite the narrow escape. Come to think of it, what had they done with the suits of armor after they fell off the Astronomy tower? He couldn't exactly remember, though he was pretty sure it involved hiding them behind some bushes. What a sad attempt, it wasn't the work of a sixteen year old.
Sixteen? Speaking of that, his birthday wasn't too long ago. In fact, he'd just gotten his present from his sister and Fay seemed to know a bit too much about it since she had a little side gift for it. Typical, the evil 'sisters' shopping together in an attempt to embarrass him. May's gifts were always the worse, last year he'd gotten a litter box from the old witch. She was the worst with kitty jokes, which was rather pathetic considering she still worked for the Animagus Division. 'Stupid old woman, I'll show her.' This year she gave him a blue cat collar, and just to prove her wrong about him, he decided to wear it. And Fay had a couple little cat collar bells that he fixed on it as well.
Embarrassing? Not in the least, Bray has done so much worse to his pride. And with each step, the small bells did their tinkle that even reminded him of cats and seemed to take the edge off the noises in the woods as he walked through them, trying not to let his teeshirt get snagged on the sagging branches. Fay was supposed to be somewhere around here..? Of course, the one night he decided that he was going to sneak up and scare her, she was no where to be found. That is, until he heard a small shriek followed by the sound of breaking branches, and a thump. "Oh, that must be her." He said, completely unfazed by her typical clumsiness. He wasn't close enough to have to pretend to be worried about her, and he probably wouldn't have even found out if he didn't have heightened hearing.
His walked speeded up to a jog, wanting to see her embarrassed look as she picked herself up off of whoever she fell on and muttered something that was either 'oh, sorry man' or 'watch where you're going, punk', probably based on what house they were from. Though as soon as his eyes hit the light from the torches, he squinted and had to blink to figure out what was going on. So far all he could really make out was Fay standing in her usual intimidating way and looking pretty confused.. yet angry? Well, this was awkward, maybe he should leave while he still had the chance.
"Woah, what's going on Fay? You look like you just uncovered some big drug ring." He said with a bored tone and a raised 'brow. Great, this looked like it was going to be a party, and now he was going to be forced to stay.

After hearing the pitter-patter of multiple feet hit and scurry around on the floor, Polaris decided to check it out. It was quite unusual for people to be active at this time of night, and that was the reason that roused her curiosity. Slipping on a pair of jeans, slim-fitting t-shirt and a pair of running shoes, the girl headed out behind the last Ravenclaw she saw exit the common room.
It was when she reached the benches outside did she realize why everyone was up and about. A bonfire? Music? What is this.. She thought curiously, stepping ever closer to the wild scene.
When Polaris reached the small crowd that was forming around the activities, she stopped to take in the scene. The fire crackled and jumped out to all that were surrounding it, telling a tale of it's own as the wind blew and voices revolved around it. A pleasant aroma of food and drinks then reached the girls nostrils, making a small smile appear on her lips. She would just have to wait a little longer before she dug into the food.
The Ravenclaw then spotted an empty area off to the side of the fire and begun to head towards it to take a seat. Crossing her legs infront of her, Polaris sat comfortably with a smile as she watched everyone around her. Just as someone casually walked by her, she caught their gaze and attention to ask a question that was probably buzzing around, "Excuse me, what is the purpose of such an event?"

Oy, get your lazy bonidle good for nothing butts out of this bed now before I shoot icy water at you
The violent shaking of the bed stunned Ollie into awakening and he opened a lazy eye to see Kieran as the culprit of such rude awakenings. He simply wiped his drool that had coagulated onto the back of his hand before giving him the finger and snuggling back into his pillow. He opened his eye once again to check the time, and he rolled over to hear Kieran ranting again.
Well if you're not there by five past, im coming to look for you
Ollie simply gurgled and moaned in response and managed to mumble "five more minutes" before Kieran stomped out. Trying to wake himself up was no good and Ollie eventually fell slave to being awake and threw back the covers and giving Lucas a quick shake of the bed. "Luke, get up you idle sod. Kieran's gonna go crazy if we arn't down there soon.....LUKE!" he said before he got the same response Ollie had given Kieran just five minutes before. Ollie sighed and pulled on his loose jeans and a graphic t-shirt before pulling on a dark red Track top with white striped down each arm. Wetting his face with water to wake up, Ollie looked in the mirror and thanked Merlin that he wasn't a girl and didn't have to put makeup on. His thoughts then went onto Rieko and how cute she was when she was angry. He smirked and headed out slipping his feet into his white trainers as he snuck out of the dorm room and out towards the lake.
There were a few people their already and Ollie was quite pleased with the turnout so far. He spotted Dante with some blonde chick and slapped him on the arm gently in greeting before saluting him then striding over to Kieran. "I'm here, look, dressed and everything" he said waving his hands up and down himself to show that he was infact dressed. His eyes immediately rolled over to the drinks and food and he quickly picked up a sausage roll and poured himself a beer before munching and slurping happily as he nodded slightly to the music blarring from the speakers. After he'd munched the sausage roll, he looked around and rubbed his hands together, placing the cup in his mouth for a moment so he could warm his hands up.
"So if Rie gonna be here then? If she is I hope that idiot of a boyfriend doesn't tag along. Pffft" he said in disgust. Thinking of Blake made Ollie quite angry, although it quickly passed when he caught sight of Dante against with a rather tasty looking date and Ollie raised his eyebrow in smugness at Dante's catch. Saundering over, he collided fists with Dante before hugging him. "Heyup man, How you doing?"

"You outdid yourself this time Kieran"
The familiar voice belonging to Dante Nikolas dragged Kieran out of his thoughts. Call him big headed, but he already knew that one as his eyes drifted to the blonde girl he had brought, his mouth twitching up at the sides, he didnt recognise the blonde though, who was obviously being added to Dante's famous list of conquests. He wondered if the girl knew what she was letting herself in for. Clashing his fist with Dante's he smirked, "Thanks man, you know me. Not one to do things by half." Not too long later, another noise caught his attention, the sound of someone falling. Kieran turned around and faced the trees, yet another smile playing on the Gryffindor's face as he walked over to the girl he knew to be the ravenclaw prefect, Felicity Locke, and held his hand out for her. "Need a hand?" He asked, the smile still evident on his face, "Are you drunk already, or is falling a habit for you?" His eyebrow raised when she asked what was going on, Kieran thought it pretty obvious really, but clearly he had missed the banner which was supposed to say, "Lake side party night?" He offered, "Just a chance for students to have a bit of fun before the real hassle sets in, feel free to stay if you like, even Prefects are welcome."
He turned around and began to walk back to the fire where he was previously stood, another blonde caught his eye and she asked a question. With a sigh he simply shrugged and said, "Does there need to be a purpose? Cant people just have fun without there being a reason behind it? Seriously, you Ravenclaws think too much." Though he gave her a warm smile to show he meant no offence by his statement and continued his walk back to the fire. Ollie and Luke werent here yet, and Kieran was getting slighly annoyed, afterall he had done the work and it was mostly their idea, if they didnt show up, Kieran was kicking their lazy butts tomorrow.
Crunching the styrofoam cup, he threw it into the fire and watched as it crackled for a moment. Davies then proceeded to pour himself another drink, taking a large gulp of it down before heading back and staring into the flames again. The music was playing in the background, not exactly deafening loud, but loud enough for people to hear inside the charm bubble that Nick had put up so no Professors would see or hear what was going on. Not unless someone brought a professor here, which would seriously annoy Kieran if they did.
As yet another voice reached his ears, he turned to see Ollie and raised his eyebrows at him, "Might help if you'd have put matching trainers on though Oll." He smirked and pointed down to them, "Seriously dude..." Though he had put matching trainers on, it was likely Ollie would fall for this trick but Kieran didnt keep gaze long enough to see if Ollie looked down to check or not. "Luke still sleeping?" He asked, but he already knew the answer, once Luke was sleeping, it was a pain in the ass to wake him up. Maybe he should have sent someone to jump on him, that would have gotten him up, or maybe he should have thrown water over him. Lazy punk.
"Dude," Kieran said, "Two whole minutes." Davies shook his head and laughed, "You went without saying her name for two minutes I'm proud of you," Punching Ollie on his arm, but not in an agressive manner he simply smirked, "I dont know if Rie's gonna be here or not, I told her about it but she seemed less interested when she heard you would be here." Though he couldnt keep a straight face, "Nah, seriously. I told her about the party and she asked if you were coming but she didnt seem annoyed when I said yeah, she didnt seem interested either though so dont get your hopes up." Though Kieran shook his head again and threw his cup into the fire once more, "..." He was silent, "Well Blake knows about it, guess its upto him if he shows or not." When Ollie went over to Dante, Kieran went and stood by the food, grabbing another sandwhich and munching on it happily watching what was going on around him.

Alice was laying in bed. She knew about the Lake Night that Kieran had arranged so now she was just waiting for time to pass. She heard another stir in their bed and soon, Paige Matthews was headed out the door. She must've been going with Dante, it was the only thing that Alice could think of. Come to think of it, he had mentioned taking her. Once the door to their dorm was shut, Alice pushed off her comforter and got out of bed. She had already dressed herself in a short, frayed denim skirt with a gold tank top. She pulled on a pair of heeled boots and grabbed her white zip up before heading for the guys dorm.
It only took her a couple of seconds to find Ethan's bed. Shaun's was on the other side of the room and it was empty. He was probably already over there with Alexis, if not, just going to get her or something. Alice sat herself on the foot of Ethan's bed and began to bounce on it til he groaned and turned over with a funny expression. She grinned at him in response and he pulled the covers over his head.
"Ethan, we've already gone through this. Either you come with me of your own free will, or I drag you there. You're choice." When no response came of Ethan, Alice pulled the blanket off of him then quickly threw it back on him. Ethan was pretty much naked, not that Alice minded, but he might have a problem with it. But Ethan did look rather cute in his batman boxer shorts. "You know Ethan, you could just come like that, I definitely wouldn't complain." Alice dug through his trunk and pulled out some clothes for him. She left the room so Ethan could get dressed without embarrassment.
Ethan came out shortly after mumbling something about how Alice would be the death of him. "Oh come in, Eth! I'm not that bad." Alice grabbed his hand and practically dragged him out of the common room and through the castle. It wouldn't take long for them to reach their destination. Kieran and Ollie were usually pretty good, besides, the lake wasn't that big. And there it was. Alice could see the fire blazing in the distance along with the shadows of the other students. As Ethan and Alice got closer, she could make out the voices of Ollie and Kieran as well as Dante somewhere in the crowd more than likely with Paige. Finally she could make out her Gryffindor buddies and let go of Ethan's hand leaving him to get comfortable. She'd go back by him once she greeted her friends.
"Ollie!" Alice shouted as she half ran, half skipped to him. She threw her arms around the older guy and kissed his cheek gently. "My, have you been working out?" she asked with a playful grin, "You feel rock hard," she said poking his chest lightly with her finger. She couldn't, by any chance, leave Kieran alone either so she stepped away from Ollie and did the exact same with Kieran. Alice threw her arms around the boy and gave him a swift kiss on the cheek. "Geeze, Kieran. Everytime I see you, you're hotter than the time before," she said sending him a wink.

When Paige joined him by the window, Dante grinned. There was nothing like a party to get the year in full swing and you could always count on Kieran, Ollie or Lucas to do it. The Jocks of Gryffindor. Dante laughed to himself when he thought of how many times the boys had been called jocks, now they tended to take it as a compliment rather than hex whoever said it. Paige, on his arm as the two made their way silently through the castle and out onto the grounds. She soon answered his question with her own question, Dante noticed her voice seemed a little unsure of herself and he couldnt blame her. The first thing he was having her do, being a guy who she had just met, was making her attend an illegal party which no doubt if they were caught would have their behinds in detention for the rest of their educational career. "Yeah it will be, just try to remember it tomorrow." He winked at her as he pulled he gently over the grounds. The last thing they needed would be to get caught before they even got there.
Dante laughed to her 'whoa,' He knew how her reaction would be, everyone in Hogwarts now was used to Kieran and Ollie, but those who were new never knew what to expect from them. Once he handed Paige a drink, he got himself one, his throat instantly warmed by the firewhisky Kieran, well Nick, had provided for them. "Kieran," He said pointing to the dark haired boy beside the fire, "Never does things by half, he will always go all out for parties or else he doesnt think them worth bothering with." Dante slipped an arm around her shoulder and smiled to her, once he glanced back to where Kieran was stood, he noticed another guy with him too, "Ollie," He told Paige, "He has this wierd obsession with this girl called Rie who has a boyfriend. Its obvious she likes him but" Dante laughed at this part, "Rie always seems like she's going to beat Ollie up with a very large stick. Its actually amusing watching the two together, you dont need telly when you have those two put it that way."
Once Dante finished his mini speech on Ollie, he seemed to catch Ollie's eye who soon came waltzing over, the Gryffindor's eyes on Paige, which both made Dante's eyes narrow, but smirk at the same time. Once Ollie got close to him, Dante raised his fist so Ollie's could collide with his and was soon pulled into a hug, Dante clapping Ollie on his back a couple of times before letting the Gryf boy go. To his question, he simply looked at Paige and grinned, "As well as I could be, got alcohol in my hands, a bonfire going, music and a gorgeous date. Of course I'm alright." Dante laughed as he swigged at his drink. "Whats this I've noticed anyway? Davies and Ollie both with no dates? Man, thats just wrong"
Next thing he knew, Alice was plodding over and landed a kiss on Ollie's cheek, commented on his arms and bounded to Kieran. "I obviously dont exsist." Dante drained the last of his beer, crumpled the cup and threw it to the ground, looking at Ollie he smiled. "Look after my date for a minute please." He said before walking over to Alice, his arms folded and his eyebrows raised, standing infront of her, "What? Am I not your favourite guy anymore? Replaced me already ay?" He grinned, before looking to Kieran and slapping him over the shoulder, "Where's your date?"

Post by Paige Matthews on Oct 2, 2008 17:33:46 GMT
Taking the drink Dante offered her Paige took a good look at it. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. She watched as Dante drank some. He appeared to be fine so she could only assume it wasn't poison, but she knew it wasn't fruit juice either. Paige never had a drink before. On occasion she tried to sneak a glass of rum once or twice but her mother always seemed to catch her. Other people were enjoying this concoction so Paige decided not to be party pooper. Taking hold of the cup she took a sip hoping it wouldn't make her gag or cough while in Dante's presence cause that would be embarrassing. Her wish was granted there was no gagging, no coughing, and she actually liked it. It tasted delicious. Taking another sip she wished the cup held more of it.
As they stood together Dante started pointing people out to her. One thing can always be said about Paige Matthews and that is, she has impeccable taste. Imagine, the first person she befriends at her new school is a total social director. He seemed to know just about everybody as he stood pointing out this person and that person.
Paige tried her best to pay close attention wondering if she would remember it all later. First, he pointed out Kieran a nice looking dark haired boy one of the party planners. Then there was Ollie another cute boy who had a thing for a girl name Rie who had a boyfriend. That was complicated Paige mused for a few moments. Next thing Paige knew the boy named Ollie was headed their way. Paige had taken another sip of the red stuff but her eyes were watching the boy who seemed to be looking at her. Maybe she had one of those familiar faces or something, or maybe he realized she was new he sure had never seen her before. Turning back to Dante she saw is eyes get smaller he didn't look angry but he didn't look all that happy either. Paige wondered what was up then just as quickly as his mood changed he was back to his normal self. Seemed like she had a lot to learn about boys.
The two guys hugged and started talking Paige smiled when Dante called her his gorgeous date. Nice words a girl needed to hear once in a while to keep her happy. She was still reeling from the remark when a pretty petite brunette came up to Ollie and kissed his cheek before making her way to Kieran. Paige was about to ask who she was when Dante asked Ollie to keep an eye on her because he would be right back.
That wasn't awkward she thought to herself before laughing. "Guess you're my new baby sitter" she joked. Looking up at Dante's friend "suppose I should introduce myself, I already know you're Ollie I'm Paige." Holding out her hand for a shake.
