Sarie stood at the end of the lake. Her pocket full of flat rocks. She was a third year but most put her at second or first. She once had some one ask her if she was 9, she had short brown hair that she never did any thing with she just let it fly. Her eyes dark but noting special. Sarie wasn't any thing special really sure she could fly really well and was good a potions but that didn't count for any thing really.
She couldn't even skip a stone right. All they did was slash and sink to the bottom. It was just before dusk and she like it there was no one around but her. She didn't have many friends and most of them had left last year. Every one was gone mostly. She sighed and tried to skip a stone again. She really didn't know what she was doing wrong.
She dropped to the ground and listened to the crickets and the peepers night time tune. She liked it. She lay down in the grass and closed her eyes.
